Really lovely stay with my friend and my dogs. The cottage was so clean and had everything you could need and some. There was a lovely welcome tray, fresh eggs and some milk. Great location and beautiful surroundings.

Everything about this venue is lovely. Dog friendly, nice decor inside. 200m walk to a local pub which served great food. The WiFi struggled at times but only a minor issue as there was absolutely no signal on my phone. The only downside to the whole stay is that I was charged £50 to use the hot tub for two nights and I had to heat it myself as it was a natural one. If I was using their electric then fair enough but using extra wood (that I brought just in case) to do it myself, the price felt excessive. Also having spoken to family about some of the places they had stayed the cleaning fee of £50 felt a touch high compared to other properties of similar size. A few minor issues but overall a superb location and would recommend to others.

A lovely stay with friends. Richmond centre is within walking distance from Hannah's with beautiful buildings to walk past on the way. Hot tub was fab and a wonderful way to enjoy catching up with each other. Hannah's home had everything we needed and we would definitely stay again. Thank you

Ivy Cottage is a gem 💎. Jane is a great host, great communication and flexibility. The cottage is spacious with a homely feel. We loved all the fairy lights outside, it looked very magical. Great place to have a family get together. The hot tub and games room are fantastic. We loved the small touches around the house, including the towels, bathrobes and crocs for the hot tub. The welcome package also a lovely touch, included eggs from Jane's hens, which made tasty scrambled eggs. The location is a great base and lots of places nearby. The cottage is also great if you just want to stay put and chill, you have everything you need.

We had such a lovely stay at The Nest - the place is super cosy and perfect for a relaxing get away. Everything was super easy, from communication to check in/out and finding the place. Great location and beautiful setting. Hot tub was fab! We had dinner at The Wellington Heifer one night which is a 10 minute walk away and would recommend.

Great stay with partner and dog . Enclosed area, breakfast included and good place for walking the Cleveland way. Debbie was very attentive.

Four of us have just spent 3 nights in Peewit Cottage. From the moment we arrived, we all felt right at home, the place was spotless, beds very comfortable too! Everything you could possibly need for a self catering stay was provided. Having the private hot tub was fabulous, we loved it after full days of being tourists in the local area. On a separate note, we would highly recommend a visit to Beamish Museum which was about a 30 min drive, we also spent a day in Durham City & booked a 2.5 hr History/City Tour with walkaboutdurham - highly recommended. Tour Guide Peter is very knowledgeable & so passionate about his job plus he gives everyone a "free" cocktail voucher for Turtle Bay - well deserved after 2.5hrs walking around the City 🤣🤣

We’ve just had a fantastic week at Byre Cottage. Communication throughout was friendly and helpful. We were warmly welcomed by Caroline on arrival (almost felt like old friends!) who guided us through the facilities. The welcome treats (for us and dogs!) were a lovely and most welcome extra touch. Byre Cottage was spotlessly clean, well furnished, comfortable and with all the facilities you could possibly want. The comfy bed, good quality bathroom, comfortable living space, well appointed kitchen (plenty of cupboard space and utensils), hot tub, games room and private enclosed outside space were particular highlights. The location was stunning, being so close to walking routes, including down to Staithes. Even the uphill trog back was fine (though the well-priced local beers from the Cod & Lobster probably helped!). The real ‘win’ here is Caroline, whose friendly, considerate approach to hosting and attention to detail is first class, which is why we will return. Thank you!

An absolute gem of a find, this cottage overlooking the beck and the beautiful harbour! The cottage is lovely and comfortable, great history to this 17th century fisherman's cottage. As always, Staithes is stunning. Jackie has been incredibly responsive and helpful to any questions we had. Highly recommend Jackie's cottage. We certainly will be back!

Puzzle Cottage is an absolute gem. Cosy, quirky and perfect for a stay in the stunning Yorkshire Dales. Loads of local information left by Richard and the cottage was well equipped with a lovely welcome basket of goodies. We will definitely come again and would thoroughly recommend Puzzle Cottage.

Great stay. Lovely peaceful surroundings and nearby villages with lits of places to eat and drink without having to travel too far. The fire was set for us to light when we arrived making it snug and cosy within the hour to enjoy our wine and begin our break. we will be back again!!!

Lovely accommodation - cosy, comfortable and warm with everything you need. Great to come back to after a day exploring the North York Moors. Pickering is a lovely town. Jenny provided lots of very helpful information. We had a great time - highly recommend this property.

What can I say... Absolutely fantastic place. You couldn't ask for anything more. Really peaceful location with fantastic views of the hills etc. We had a strange issue but this was sorted out very swiftly by Malcolm 👍 We will definitely be looking to book again and have another peaceful time just watching the world go by. A great find. It was really helpful to have the option of traveling by train from Darlington to Castleton Moor, and the journey along the Esk valley by train was very picturesque. We loved the open fire and cosy sitting room. We did a pretty 6 mile circular walk to Commondale and back. We brought food with us, but if did it again would probably just buy on arrival from the coop nearby and eat at the local pubs. It was great to have a weekend away where there was no need to use a car. Helen was a lovely host.

Perfect stay for our visits to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and York. Peaceful, countryside location. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds. Although we had long days out, it was a pleasure to come back to after a busy day😀

The directions Rachel gave us were very precise and we arrived without any problem. The cottage is very warm, cosy and super clean with everything you need for a pleasant stay. We had no problems but as Rachel is close by I am sure they would be sorted quickly. Lanchester is a short drive away and has a good selection of shops and places to eat.

A absolute gem 💎 had a beautiful stay, love clean modern place fantastically peaceful with beautiful views the sky at night were amazing. I was amazed how peaceful the cottage is for being near the A66 so had no trouble exploring the local surroundings I know we will be back in the future

Absolutely amazing cottage! Lovely location, out of the way and peaceful but within a 15min drive to Thirsk so close to amenities. The place had everything we needed for a nice weekend away.

Ideally located close to the town square with free parking nearby. This was our first visit to Richmond and we loved it, so peaceful and straight out of a picture book. The cottage was immaculate with a comfy bed and great powerful shower. May not be suitable for those with extra access requirements as it is a hilly area, but to be honest that goes for the whole town! For us, it was the perfect spot for a quiet couple of days away. Special mention to the DVD collection, what a fun touch! Thanks go to Fiona for having us.

Lovely place to rest your head after a day of exploring! Lots to see in the local area and the lovely hot bath was definitely a big bonus

Had a lovely stay at the Hen House. John gave brilliant instructions which made finding the house mad check in extremely easy. When communicating with John his response was always quick, helpful and kind. The house was spotless and cosy when we arrived in a beautiful little village with all of the amenities necessary plus more. Overall a perfect stay, thank you John!

We had a fabulous short break here. The cottage was perfect for us.. homely and comfortable with everything we needed. The sea views from the bathroom were fantastic, and you’re right on the Cleveland Way path. It is quiet and relaxing, but only a mile and a bit to Staithes if the urge for fish and chips hits! Kathy was a very friendly and responsive host. We loved it, thank you!
