Great place for one person or a couple. It is on a main road, there is literally a bath but no handheld shower, it is somebody's home so be respectful....but this is how it's described so it does exactly what it says on the tin! Ceilidh was a very helpful and responsive host and went over and above leaving provisions for breakfast etc. Made me feel very welcome.

lovely place, neat and clean! the only thing to note is that the road is full of parked cars already so one has to maneuvre a bit where to park. away from that, i d like to come back again if i visit edinburgh. each room has tv which was plus. luka has been very helpful as well.

A lovely and cosy apartment in which every practical detail has been thought through. Very nicely located in a quiet part of Morningside neighborhood, which is not too far from the city center. We stayed 3 nights (4 adults) and used the IKEA day-bed to create a double bed in the living room which proved to be very comfortable. If we ever come back to Edinburgh, we will definitely consider Hamish’s Hame again!

We had a great stay at Audrey's place. We stayed there for 3 months and both Audrey and Fergus have been very helpful and kind from the start. We requested an additional workstation and Audrey agreed without any hesitation and had arranged it before our arrival. The apartment has everything for a comfortable stay with lovely walks close by. There is a bus service (every 20 minutes) with a 7-minute walk which takes you straight to the Edinburgh city centre. Would highly recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a peaceful and cosy stay without the hassle of the city. Thank you, Audrey and Fergus!

We had a wonderful week at Charlotte’s apartment. The apartment was well really well appointed and equipped for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal, peaceful and just a couple of minutes by car from Curriehill railway station where there were regular trains to Edinburgh city centre. I would highly recommend Charlotte’s place and would definitely stay there again.

Sinead's flat is in an ideal part of Edinburgh. It is very close to the bus routes and a short distance to the train station. The flat is lovely. It feels warm and welcoming with all the amenities. It is an ideal choice for a stay in Edinburgh.

Absolutely quality!!! David was an outstanding host. The apartment was massive and plenty of room for 8 people. There is 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom a floor lower. 1 big bathroom and a smaller bathroom, however both equipped with showers. Living room area is huge with all the kitchen amenities you will need. Quality place!! Thanks again!

Wonderful property and hosts

A brilliant place to stay as a small family. It’s not slap bang in Edinburgh but all the better for it: blissfully quiet (you really cannot hear the airport), a genuinely beautiful garden to relax in, but just 5 minutes drive from the free park and ride, which is 20 minutes into central Edinburgh. And made all the better by hosting from Robert, who was super friendly, a genuine pleasure to chat to, but without being at all intrusive. Would firmly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Helen and Jamie's home! We especially appreciated how well it accommodates a large group like ours (of 16)! Our youngest brother was getting his master's degree at the University of Edinburgh, so my parents, my sister's family and my family decided to come and join him for the holidays. Every family had their own "wing" of the house, with our parents in the middle and then each sister's families down a different hallway, with each family also having their own bathroom. We even had enough room for our brother and his fiancé to come and stay in the house with us (on the third floor)! It was fantastic. The beds were divine, and the heated bathroom floor was one of my favorite treats. Jamie and Helen were very kind and helpful, making suggestions for restaurants in the area. We were close enough to the city of Edinburgh that we easily went into town every day, but far enough out that it felt relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle if we wanted to be.

We really enjoyed Kiera’s place! It was as described and well heated in the Scottish winter! The parking was convenient and the house was not far from public transport links into Edinburgh centre. Only note was most cabinets and dressers had host’s items in so there wasn’t a lot of space for our own storage. But overall a very nice space and good value for being so close to Edinburgh. We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb. The house was exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and located in a very quiet neighbourhood perfect for relaxation. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it an ideal getaway spot. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay!

A peaceful, well equipped, clean and modern accommodation. I found it spacious, comfortable and perfect for what I needed. Jerry is very organised and has lots of extra information of the property, making it easier to find items and know how to use the facilities better. A quieter location, but within walking distance to several shops. A bus stop is round the corner, where buses can take you straight into town. I’d really recommend this place, if you want to explore Edinburgh or nearby attractions as it’s a 10-15min drive to the city bypass which leads to major roads & a direct route to Edinburgh airport. And it’s also on a quick bus route to the city centre, dropping you close to the main bus & train stations. I also had no problem parking outside. A great find.

The house was clean and spacious with all the amenities that we needed for a relaxing weekend. It was a nice touch to have toiletries available for guests, my teenage boys appreciated the huge television!

Tim was fantastic from start to finish with great communication and fast response times. He checked in with us throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble. Place was exactly as described - fantastic! It had everything you could need in the kitchen and a huge fridge/freezer which was great for us with a family. It’s worth noting that it was freezing (literally, it snowed at one point!) and we were warm and toasty throughout the stay. Location was spot on with a M&S and Waitrose within a few minutes walk and countless restaurants and independent coffee shops. Regular bus service into Edinburgh which we used too.

Fantastic dwelling, great location and excellent hosts. We will definitely look to return to Edinburgh in the future and seek this residence as well as highly recommending it to our friends and family. Our hosts Mark and Dayna were wonderful especially with their wonderful gesture of allowing us to stay an extra night, free of charge, due to The Hogmanay Festival being cancelled. Thank you again. Nevertheless a wonderful visit to Edinburgh underpinned by an excellent apartment and generous hosts.

Great place to be in the center of Edinburgh. We chose to be on the Royal Mile, so you have to expect some street noise at night. If you want 100% quiet, go to the suburbs. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Adjustable radiators in each bedroom were great for those who run hot or cold at night.

Lovely flat! Clean and very well equipped for us 2 adults and 2 children. Lovely and warm, Garage parking much appreciated And of course wonderfully situated for exploring Edinburgh! Hopefully we will return!

My family and I had a great time. the place was right on the Royal Mile and there was so much to do with extremely beautiful surroundings. The apartment was perfect for the 3 of us as we each had our own bathroom. Everything was walkable. Edinburgh is beautiful, overall I am really glad we stayed here.
