We loved staying at Michikake and meeting Chino and her family. Chino is super quick to respond and very flexible with arrival times. She was extremely friendly and helpful. Her place is also worth visiting. If you want to experience the Japanese countryside at the sea, this is the place to be. You’ll feel yourself at home in this very spacious home with all of the needed and modern amenities. After many stays at different Airbnb’s all over the world, this reminded me of the true Airbnb experience where you live like a local and meet your host in person. Please visit this place :)

This is an excellent place to stay when visiting Takaharu Town. The host has thought of everything, from amenities to multi- lingual instructions and local recommendations. An easy walk to a couple of good local restaurants as well. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Siamo stati un mese presso questo alloggio, ed è stato veramente molto piacevole Sebbene abbiamo sentito dei terremoti siamo stati subito tranquillizzati sia dall’host che dai residenti nei dintorni, l’host è stato molto disponibile e gentile e vorremmo ritornare di nuovo in futuro☺️

Great place to stay away from the city! We were able to stargaze at night and enjoy a beautiful sunrise. even though it's on the main road, it remained quiet throughout the night. bathroom layout was interesting but worked fine for our family.

採れたての野菜や産みたての卵、天ぷらや山菜おこわなども作って頂きとても温かいおもてなしを大変感謝しております。日本家屋の縁側でのひなたぼっこはとても暖かく、夜は綺麗な星空を見ながら過ごした滞在は幸せなひと時でした。

We greatly enjoyed this beautiful place with is typical Japanese and extremely spacious. We did not have a car so the bus stop 10 m from the house was ideal to go to Miyazaki or towards Aoshima. There is also a JR station within 10 minutes walking distance for faster connections. Great host that helped with questions about activities. We strongly recommend this place which is close to Miyazaki and Aoshima and its beaches. 5 stars definitely !
