This was such a nice flat to stay in! It was very clean and well equipped. There were also a few nice food places in walking distance. The owners were super kind! They greeted us right when we arrived and showed us to the room.

Zhang was friendly and helpful. She also answered all my questions very quickly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The location is great. A short walk to the famous sand sauna and a bus stop. There are many restaurants all within walking distance and we had no problem staying here without a car. Recommended.

We loved staying at Michikake and meeting Chino and her family. Chino is super quick to respond and very flexible with arrival times. She was extremely friendly and helpful. Her place is also worth visiting. If you want to experience the Japanese countryside at the sea, this is the place to be. You’ll feel yourself at home in this very spacious home with all of the needed and modern amenities. After many stays at different Airbnb’s all over the world, this reminded me of the true Airbnb experience where you live like a local and meet your host in person. Please visit this place :)

It was a great pleasure for me to stay at Michiko and Yurika’s place. It’s located right next to the harbor, and the view of Sakurajima out of the window is unparalleled. It’s also very close to Tenmonkan area where there’s plenty of shopping and dining options, plus 2 convenience stores are just steps away. The unit itself is nice and comfortable and has everything one might need for a longer stay. I feel like one month I spent here was such a short time. Michiko-san is a wonderful host, very welcoming and always ready to go out of her way to help, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. I wouldn’t choose any other place to stay in Kagoshima if I ever come here again.

We had a fantastic stay here, the house is really cosy and comfortable, and the view is absolutely fantastic! I couldn't believe how beautiful it was, both at night and in the morning. We had breakfast on the wooden terrace, while admiring Sakurajima, and it was amazing. The hosts are incredibly friendly and kind, and made sure to welcome us and explain everything when we arrived, and then say goodbye when we checked out. They even gifted us some beautiful handmade coasters! We were thrilled with our stay, and hope we can stay here again in the future. Thank you again so much for everything!

What a beautiful place, the location along the coast in a quiet part of the forest, wonderful view of the ocean from a deck, inside, there is everything there that you need. In winter it can get cold, but it heats up quickly, nice bathroom, many thoughtful and beautiful decorations. The host couple were really lovely and helpful, and also open, insightful and inspiring. Thank you so much for having me and for the wonderful stay and chats!
