We had a comfortable stay here. It was a little cold but the bathtub was nice. It has a great yard and a complete kitchen. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and the host was polite.

This place is great. Not many foreigners go to Kusatsu Onsen in the first place so the staff being friendly is great. The location is remote (about a 20 minute walk from town) and the walk gets old after about a day considering how many hills there are. I knew this when I booked the place, though. Kusatsu is worth it no matter the walk regardless. The only negative thing that I have to say about this place is that it's cold and I think the kerosene heater broke on night 2. Either that or we're just morons. Either way, fixing the room heaters should be a priority. This minor inonvenience was forgiven when the staff took us to the bus station in a snowstorm, saving us a long and brutal walk. Very kind of them.

I am super happy with my decision to stay at this place. The hosts greeted us at the house and showed us around and I was surprised at how clean and cozy the house felt. The hosts really pay attention to detail and were really welcoming and helpful. They provided lots of useful recommendations for things to do and places to eat. In all of my stays with Airbnb, this was by far my favorite since the hosts really put their time and effort to make us feel comfortable. I will not hesitate to book this place again in the future.

ゲレンデからはシャトルバスで行き来しやすく新築のため部屋もとても綺麗でした。オーナーの方からの連絡はとても早く親切でわかりやすかったです。

Easy check in, amenities as described. The views were stunning and beautiful. The host was very friendly and helpful, and spoke English to help check in. I would recommend this place to get away from the crowds and enjoy the nature and views.

全て写真通りで、ホストの方のご返信も早く素晴らしい滞在でした。部屋は暖かく、快適に過ごすことができました。本当にありがとうございました！気になったのは、お風呂場が非常に寒く、シャワーの水圧が弱かったのと、下水の匂いがやや上がってきてしまっているように感じた点です。私たちは温泉に行くことにしたので問題ありませんでしたが、今後泊まる方はご参考になさってください。（脱衣所には床暖房がありますが、冬はあまりに寒すぎました。夏なら問題ないと思います！）

We rented the Forest Villa for a family vacation, and it was perfect for everyone from the kids to the grandparents. The house was lovely, and had a well set up kitchen, karaoke set up, washer and dryer, and best of all a huge bath where you could soak and look out at the trees. Peaceful and fun!

Great location and accommodation, ski right up to your door. Snow was incredible, slopes are amazing, there is a 8.5km run that ends at Drifters back door! The hosts, Chris and Amy were extremely accommodating, helping us with everything, driving us to the supermarket and ski rental shops, giving us advice, just really friendly, good people. Our lodge was immaculately cleaned daily, all the snow in the pathways got cleared daily. We were a group of 12 and everyone absolutely loved it, cannot recommend it highly enough. Great for families with children or a big bunch of mates, Chris even kept the beer kegs stocked up for us. Thanks Chris, Amy and team👌😊

Recommend renting a car or plan on paying for taxi. The area is amazing right in the heart of nature and farming. However nearest station is 25 min walk and then at least half hour to Nagano or Iiyama. Very close to snow monkeys. Suggest bringing warm clothes for the winter months. Nothing like sitting next to a fire listening to the rain.

昨年の夏以来2度目の利用でした。 今回も変わらずオーナーさん、スタッフの方にあたたかく迎えていただき快適な時間を過ごす事ができました。 前半は天候が不順で肌寒い日もありましたが石油ストーブが完備されており全く問題なしでした。また薪ストーブも使用しましたが、静寂の中で炎に癒されなんとも言えない非日常を堪能できました。 後半は天候にも恵まれ朝も昼も森の中のテラスで贅沢な食事を満喫できました。 ありがとうございました。 次回もまた宜しくお願いします。

We had a great time staying at the cubby house. It was in convenient location for us to access the different mountains for snowboarding. The house was clean when we arrived and Ryan was clear with instructions and amenities available. The water pressure in the top bathroom was a little low in the shower, but other than that, everything was solid. 🤙🏾
