Liliana’s home is perfect for a family holiday. We had mixed age groups and the downstairs bedroom and bathroom is good for older generation with easy access. We were by the beach for walks and nearby was a cafe and restaurant for evening meals and morning coffees and cakes. We got Ubers into Porto which were very easy to get and reasonably priced. You can have busy days in Porto and quieter evenings in the house in Gaia which suited us perfectly. Liliana was a fantastic host who organised a cab for us from the airport. Any questions we had she provided quick answers and helpful tips. I would definitely recommend the house and host. Just for info - We took a bus tour in Porto for 48 hours would take the bus to the point closest to the house and grab an Uber from there which worked out cheaper.

Great place with very hospitable hostess and convenient location. Private access to the ocean with the possibility to have breakfast on the ocean. Vintage furnishings and a lovely living room with fireplace give this home a special touch. There is enough space for a large company. And there is also everything for relaxing on the beach with the kids! Definitely recommend for a stay with a large family or a friendly group. We will definitely come back! Everything was great, we were met by a very friendly and nice woman who showed and explained everything. The accommodation is excellent, everything is as in the photos. Very comfortable, has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nearby, the ocean is making a very nice noise. The view is beautiful too. Recommend.

Nous avons séjourné quelques jours à 2, lors de notre trip en moto. Une maison adorable, pleine d'histoire et de caractère ! Son côté vintage n'enlève rien au fait qu'elle est très bien équipée et proposé tout ce qui est essentiel. Magnifiquement située, elle donne directement sur une vaste plage très belle, avec tous les commerces à proximité. Et quel calme ! La petite terrasse permet de manger dehors en toute intimité, et la proximité des propriétaires n'est pas du tout gênante, la répartition des espaces est très bien organisée. Justement, une mention spéciale pour Célia qui nous a accueilli avec tant de gentillesse, pleine de bons conseils et disponible. Grâce à elle, nous avons enfin pu déguster nos premiers Percebes, qu'elle a récolté et cuisiné pour nous. Absolument délicieux et une attention touchante. Bref, un séjour extra, dépaysant et très reposant face à l'océan, on a adoré !!!!

We recently enjoyed a delightful week-long stay with our family at this enchanting house in the heart of Vila da Conde. The property's romantic outdoor architecture immediately sets it apart from the surrounding homes, creating a truly charming atmosphere. As a group of adults with children, we found the house to be perfectly suited to our needs. Located next to a small city park with a playground and cafés, the house offers easy access to local amenities. Historical sites and museums are within a short walking distance, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. The spacious interior, including three bathrooms, was a major plus, and the outdoor pool, seating area, and grill provided ample opportunities for relaxation and entertainment. Wir (als Familie) können es sehr empfehlen für einen entspannten Urlaub an der portugiesischen Atlantik Küste.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa dos Olivais! Exactly as described—clean, cozy, & fantastic location. As beautiful as the photos are, the place is even more breathtaking in person. All of the amenities were great esp. it being so well equipped for cooking. If that isn’t your thing don’t worry there are some nice food spots a skip away. The place was very clean, bright & helps to completely unplug if need be. If you’re considering, book it! You will not regret the experience. Leading up Afonso ensured we had details needed for not only a seamless check in but had great advice for places to eat, on parking & gave appropriate heads ups for other practical aspects. Notes: Those booking & renting a car parking is not immediately outside but it was easy enough to find free spots close by. There will be a little bit of a walk on cobblestone if you’ve got luggage. Overall, it was a fantastic experience & we didn’t want to leave. I would definitely recommend it to others looking to stay.

Silvia est extrêmement sympathique. Son accueil était très chaleureux. La maison correspond aux photos . Elle est décorée avec goût et est confortable. L’océan est à proximité : excellent pour des balades. Il faut compter environ 40 min pour rejoindre le centre de Porto et profiter de la ville.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit bei Eusébio. Der wunderschöne Garten mit Pool ist super zum entspannen. Es gibt einen direkten Zugang zum Fluss, der am Anwesen vorbeifließt. Hier kann man mit dem Tretboot oder Standup paddle-Board fahren (kann man sich vor Ort ausleihen). Eusébio ist seh nett und hilfsbereit!

Wow I really enjoyed the stay. The place is impeccably styled and is very conveniently located. The host is awesome and we were fed a daily supply of crazy amount of bread and pastries. What is not immediately clear from the photos is that the place is in a vicinity of a big port, but that is actually a very interesting view to see so we're more than enjoyed the stay and would totally come back again.

We had a lovely stay at Francisco's beautiful home. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked with all that a family of 6 would need. Our kids really enjoyed the lower level playroom and the outdoor space and pool. The hosts shared local recommendations and even provided a few welcome treats and wine which we appreciated. Francisco was extremely responsive and came by within minutes when we had a question about something in the house one morning. The area is quiet but on the outskirts of many of the sights of downtown Porto. Something to be aware of if you're looking for an area that is walkable or closer to the activities around town. You will need to Uber (minimum 10-15 minutes) to get to most nearby Porto attractions. Great house and pretty decent location if you don't mind being a bit further away from the city center.

The house was perfect for our family holiday. The location was in a quiet neighborhood and there was a supermarket only 3 minute walk away. Parking was easy in the street in front of the house or in the driveway inside the gate. The kitchen dining area and living area were perfect for relaxing and family meals. The kitchen had everything we needed. All 5 bedrooms had their own bathroom which was super convenient. Great place to stay with a large group or family.

A nossa estadia foi ótima. O feedback do José foi excelente para podermos fazer a reserva e forneceu todas as dicas. A casa é muito funcional, bem decorada e muito confortável e fica a cerca de 300m da praia. Tem a cozinha muito bem equipada e a cerca de 200 m encontramos um talho, uma peixaria, uma padaria e supermercados. Os passadiços junto à praia permitiram fazer umas boas caminhadas e conhecer a reserva ornitológica do Mindelo, restaurantes e cafés da zona. Pena ter sido uma estadia tão curta! Iremos voltar para uma estadia mais longa.

Casa bastante ampla, muito acolhedora e super moderna. Com certeza iremos voltar! Uma ótima localização para o verão e proprietário super acessível.

Susana and her family are perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic week with our grown up and teenage sons there. The villa and outside areas are extremely spacious and so clean. With older children, this extra space was invaluable. There was even a ping pong table to keep the boys busy too! It is so well equipped overall and the outside BBQ is great. The local area is so beautiful and we used a great local surf school in the mornings. The beach is very accessible and it was good to have off street parking in the villa, as the beach is a popular local attraction so the there lots of visitors to the area during the day. But this just makes the beach more vibrant and interesting. We made full use of all the restaurants and the small local shop, where we ordered daily bread and picked up essentials. A big thank you to Susana for being so helpful and flexible throughout the week. We would highly recommend a anyone to book this holiday home.

We had a great stay with our friends in this beautiful family home, very pleasant and very comfortable. The environment is pleasant, we were able to surf in Espinho (a little further away) and do some excursions either by sharing a VTC or via the train. We would have liked to stay a few days longer, it was perfect!

Ruben‘s place is ideal for anyone looking for the perfect mix between quiet nature and vibrant city. The apartment is just as pictured, very well equipped, has very comfortable beds and linens and we felt right at home. The beach is just 5 minutes down the road and you can walk right next to the water for at least 5-6 kilometers. The city is just a quick drive of 15 minutes away. Ruben greeted us in person, was very kind and always made sure to text and ask us if we’re missing anything. We were also able to check out later which we really appreciated. The only thing I would recommend if you’re visiting between November and March: bring hot water bottles, and warm lounge wear since the apartment only has two portable heaters that take a while to really heat up the entire place. We would definitely pick Ruben‘s place again if we come back to Porto!
