We had a quick trip to Puerto Galera and loved discovering this corner of the world! The house is a comfortable beach house perfect for entertaining and just quality time. They had board games and a fussball table too. Our kids loved hanging out in the loft and playing non-iphone games, which we loved. Bathroom towels and beddings were of hotel quality, aircons and heaters functioned well too. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed for cooking our meals. We asked Rose to cook for us for a fee and her liempo was divine! There is a grill in the garden too and we set up the table outdoors to really feel the place. The beach sand is good and we swam in front of the house. The kayaks were a welcome treat and we rowed around in the area. A fantastic stay, from a great house, attentive caretakers and a quiet and beautiful location.

The stay was in a great location for our needs being 5 minutes walk to the pier , The hosts were very friendly and accommodating

Such a cozy place! We had a wonderful time here. The place has a huge veranda that we got to ourselves. The room is clean and fresh, we have everything we need provided for our stay. It's also near the plaza - so we can walk easily when we want fresh air. Lots of establishments outside too. We felt at home! Thank you so much for accommodating us.

What a nice place...and so friendly hosts. The room (better say appartement linvingroom/TV/kitchen, bedroom A/C, CR w shower ) has everything. If you should get still too hot you can jump in the small pool and enjoy food and drinks there. Go there you will like it!

The unit is great, with own parking and spacious bedrooms. Complete kitchenwares and appliances. The place is well-ventilated even there was brownout. We’ll book again in our next visit in Calapan. Thank you Sir Phil and caretakers, very responsive and helpful.

Overall it was a great stay for our family. We got to relax and enjoy after our visit to Monte Maria, which is around 30mins away from the place. The kids enjoyed the pool. We liked how helpful the caretakers are, Ate Norie and Nanay Seria. They always help us whenever we need something, even setting up the bonfire and buying some stuff we need. Only one hiccup we experienced was with the water supply, it was gone for a few times but the caretakers managed to quickly fix it anyway. We liked it there and we’ll definitely come back. Thank you for making our stay very homey.

The place was beautiful, the view was even better and the caretaker, Martin was perfect. He took us wherever we needed to go and picked us up whenever we needed it. He was very kind and very helpful. We would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you so much!

The unit is very nice overall – clean pool, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, cold air conditioning, and a lovely view. The caretaker was also friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the tap water was quite salty, which made it challenging to wash up, brush our teeth, and cook. It's something to be aware of in advance. One thing to note is that access via stairs might not be convenient for senior citizens, so guests with mobility concerns should take that into consideration. The only real downside was finding centipedes twice – once in a cup and another time in the bathroom while someone was showering. This was concerning, especially with kids around, as it could have been dangerous if they had encountered them first. That said, we truly enjoyed our family time here, made great memories, and would definitely consider coming back in the future.

We had a great stay, which we extended twice and were very sad to leave. The place and surrounding nature are very peaceful and inspiring, and the family was a great help throughout our entire stay. Big hug and thank you to Claudette and Kuya Abel! We loved waking up to all the different birdsongs, and learning about the mangroves along the river. The property had some creative quirks to it, we enjoyed admiring the design, natural materials, and the wonderful artwork created by the host. We wouldn't have changed a thing, and hope to return one day. PS we miss the cats and dogs! 🐕

We really liked the place (stayed for 5 days). Its an adventure getting there, but all worth it at the end! A little cocoon of hapiness. Stuck in the ricefields between the ocean and the mountains, this little piece of architectural beauty is yet to be discovered. Mac (the caretaker) was great, helping for groceries ans organising activities (fishing, rivertrek). Simple, well taking care off and friendly people what do you want more?

Our family of 5 people stayed here for 4 nights while on vacation. We really enjoyed everything about this place. The beds were comfortable, hot water and A/C worked well, internet was good too. The home had everything we needed, and Jasmin was quick to bring over anything if we asked. Her family is wonderful and great hosts. The area is beautiful, with orchids growing outside and bananas everywhere. You're basically right in the jungle. We even woke up to monkeys outside our window one morning. It does mean that there are ants frequently in the home, but that's fairly normal just about anywhere on the islands. Jasmin helped us get a private boat for island hopping and snorkeling one day too, and it was at a very affordable price – the best day of our trip. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it!

We were a party of 7 (3 adults and 4 tees) and we absolutely loved our stay at Arleen´s place. Boquete Beach is a gorgeous spot, so peaceful and private. We took a water taxi from Batangas and it dropped us off right at the house -talk about door-to-door service! Arleen answered all our questions promptly, was super helpful and graciously accommodated our request to stay at her place with our service dog (who loved it there I think even more than we did!) Manang Helen shopped and prepared lovely local dishes for us, and was always very attentive. She madre great recommendations, helped us book tuk tuks, took us to a wonderful restaurant and was always willing to answer our many questions and tell us all about Puerto Galera. We visited Sabang a couple of times and met some friends who were staying at Fisherman´s Cove -only a short 15-20 minute walk from Boquete Beach (but everyone was jealous that we had a house all to ourselves, right on the the beach!) 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up!
