Awesome place! Beautiful location with ocean view and just 15 min walk to the beach. Felt homely. Marc is an excellent host and he was on site when we were guests there providing us with local attractions and reservations recommendations. Kitchen was fantastic with all utensils and vessels for cooking, plentiful supply of coffee and tea varieties, spices, etc and we didn’t miss anything. The house is kept very clean and comfortable linens, towels, and bath supples. Highly recommend this place if you need a cozy place in a beautiful, scenic, and quiet location.

My wife and I stayed at Graeme's for four nights over the new year. We loved the view from the living room/deck. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Graeme gave us great recommendations for hiking in the state parks and at Black Sands Beach. This location is good for both the Avenue of the Giants and exploring the Lost Coast. Our dog loved exploring the property and we are excited to come back in the future.

I highly recommend staying here and would definitely love to come back! It was extremely peaceful listening to the sounds of the waves at night. The view from the home is incredible and it’s an easy walk down to the beach. What really stood out was how well stocked the house was, we forgot several things that ended up already being there for us.

Pauline was an incredible host and made sure we felt welcome in her space. The property was lovely and we’d absolutely stay again!

Well crafted and thoughtfully curated mountain side cabin with a tree-framed ocean view. Fun central spiral staircase leads to a comfortable loft with exercise and entertainment options. Amazing jetted tub with an on demand hot water heater for warming your bones after chilly hiking in the nearby temperate rainforest. Great kitchen fully equipped for preparing home cooked meals. Alessandra is a lovely and gracious hostess.

We always wanted to stay on the lost coast. This was our chance to we loved it. We enjoyed the location, the beautiful home and the taste of rural living. We will definitely stay here again.

Heather was very helpful in helping us plan our trip. Her space was fantastic and had everything we needed. We will definitely be visiting the area again and staying at Heather’s place in the future!

My dog and I only stayed overnight but the cabin was a perfect stop off when traveling up 101! It’s right off the highway but feels very secluded. Amazing amenities with the washer/dryer and exercise room, though we didn’t need them this time; we did enjoy eating outside in the central picnic area. Charles was super responsive and flexible and I always appreciate a place that welcomes dogs without tons of restrictions. I’d definitely stay again and encourage anyone to book :)

Very peaceful area nice and quiet and walking distance to the river. Lisa was available and very helpful with local information. We will be returning !!

Stayed at a cabin for the long weekend around Valentine's day. Wonderful property and location, right on the river. Charles is a wonderful host and helped out with local recommendations. Great place for a weekend getaway, pretty close to Richardson's Grove State Park, Humboldt as well. Avenue of the Giants is like a 20 minute drive away and it is right on the US 101.

Highly recommend this place. private and beautiful, very well maintained. Perfect getaway from city. Laura was very proactive and helpful throughout the stay. Food was good too!

Excellent river view, lovely walk to the river, clean linens, comfy beds, great place to relax IN NATURE. I would guess there isn’t another listing on Airbnb, where you can walk between two redwood trees …and into the front door of a rustic cabin!!
