Fantastiskt hus och natur med mycket vilda djur på stor mark. (påfåglar, fladdermöss) Hundarna är ett problem för mig som är hundrädd vilket drar ner upplevelsen något då de både skäller på natten och strövar runt poolen på dagarna. (notera: De är snälla) Servicen och personalen på plats va hjälpsamma och snälla. Vi älskade kvällsbad i poolen, en fin promenad ner till stranden och ett avlägset privat boende med autentisk känsla. AC på rummet är ett måste, fint att det fanns. Vi älskade Polhena och matlagningskursen i Sambol Garden.

I would recommend. The owner being very supportive during the check-in process also invited people to take our luggage for us. Rooms are clean and I would say a great experience overall. Great location though not on the main road but you got monkeys, lake view and tranquility. Walkable distance to great restaurants.

Lovely place with everything you need including a gas hob. Very helpful host who was keeping in touch on regular basis. Place is located only a short walk to the main street and the beach, yet is very peaceful. Chathura is very helpful and will do anything to make sure you are happy. We needed a taxi to the airport and he has arranged us a very good airport transfer for a better price then pick me or Uber. Definitely would stay again.

I’m a single woman traveling alone from the U.S. and from the first moment meeting the hosts, I felt like I was part of this beautiful family. I have friends forever here! So warm and welcoming and accommodating. What a beautiful example of Sri Lankan hospitality. The hostess is always eager to cook you a delicious Sri Lankan meal. They put in so much effort to make sure that I was comfortable and had everything I need. Excellent all around! Incredible value, excellent Wi-Fi, beautiful home, quick access to Hikkaduwa beach. The host has also been my personal tour guide of the area, which has a lot to see and experience. In particular the tsunami of 2004 was quite devastating to this area, and there are many memorials that are heart-opening. This family even rented a car and drove me eight hours to the center of the island where we spent the night together experiencing other sites! Incredible! I would highly recommend this home for anyone wanting to have a unique, personal experience!

We had a Honey moon and New Year in Akain villa. The villa is situated very close to the ocean. We prefer to see sunsets at the beach. The owners are very kind and friendly people. They help us, brought everything what we need. In the eve of New Year Candy and Lakmina organized unforgettable beach party with national food and fireworks for their guests! There is 20 minutes to the fish market by foot. Every Saturday there is the market not far from the villa. We have wonderful time in this house.

The dog house var verkligen jättevackert och fint inrett med otrolig utsikt. Byn låg lite avsides men alla var otroligt vänliga och hjälpsamma , inte minst Lahiru själv som hjälpte oss med vad vi än behövde. Då boendet saknade AC var det väldigt varmt då vi var där eftersom solen låg på, men det fanns fläkt på båda våningarna. Kommer sakna den lilla byn, närheten till naturen och havet och de små lokala affärerna där det mesta kunde hittas.

Mango house was just perfect for our stay in Unawatuna. We felt very welcome from the beginning. The team was amazing and made our stay very special. Manoj was very good with communication and answered our questions/requests asap. The villa was very spacious, airy and very well maintained. We enjoyed our morning coffees in the upper veranda and breakfast was excellent with variable menu. I would also recommend to order lunch from the team; it was an unique experience. Beds were comfortable and nice showers with plenty of hot water. The location is a bit uphill, but nothing we couldn't manage. I would love stay here again some day.

We had a wonderful stay at Bianca and Dasun’s house at Weligama, the most perfect situation, you can walk straight onto the Beach. Bianca was very good at getting back to any queries we had and recommending places to eat. They have a TukTuk which Dinu or Dasun will drive you around in, in the local area. Breakfast was delivered every morning and they kindly did our laundry for us. We could not recommend it more, very lucky people who get to stay at Absolute Beach Villa

Merveilleux séjour en famille !! La villa est exceptionnelle, la situation est parfaite, a proximité de restaurants et dans le quartier résidentiel de Mahdia a Mirissa ( a mon avis, le meilleur endroit pour séjourner). La présence d'Indika durant le séjour rend le séjour mémorable. extrêmement gentil, attentionné et discret il lui tient a cœur que les voyageurs puissent passer un séjour d'exception. Grâce a ces conseils et son aide durant le séjour nous avons pu nous relaxer et profiter au maximum de nos vacances en famille. Merci encore Indika !! Bella et Gaston les deux chiens de la maison sont également très discrets et sympathiques. Bref, Tout était parfait

Très belle maison située face à la mer. Le jardin et la maison sont immenses. La maison est moderne, les chambres sont très confortables, encore mieux que sur les photos. il y a un gardien 24h/24 et une dame pour l'entretien tous les jours jusqu'à 16h. La maison est en retrait de Matara, c'est ce que nous voulions, 20 min à pied d'une très belle petite plage ou 5 min en tuk-tuk, 25 min en voiture de Welligama Un lieu bien reposant après toutes les visites.

With Sunil as host we always felt safe and relaxed in the house. We had service from the staff 24/7 if we wanted. The breakfast was amazing and Sunil listened to our requests. We never left the breakfast hungry 😋. He fixed us breakfast boxes even when we left as early as 04:00 in the morning. Sunil has a background as travel guide and can help you on site with local arrangements. Even though the ocean is quite wild the beach had few people and you felt sometimes that you were alone on the beach. You can’t lay on your back and float around because of the wave’s that never ends. If you want that you need to take a 200 meter walk on the beach or a tuktuk 5 minutes to a big calm beach, Unawatuna.

This is a truly unique home in a fantastic location with breathtaking views of the ocean. The design of the house is exquisite, crafted with great taste, style, and a soul of its own. Nissanka and Damith are incredibly hospitable, always ready to assist, guide, and organize anything for their guests. Their cooking is exceptional! We had an amazing time here. We had a great time in the Villa, great location, the hostess was super friendly and the area was great! We enjoyed the pool everyday and it was much appreciated by our kids, since the breach has really high waves, having a privet pool was fantastic. Yes, the villa is really close to the train tracks but it only goes by from time to time so it did not bother us that much. We loved it!

This villa is an absolute treasure and it was a truly wonderful experience. Everything was more than we expected and we loved the overall experience. Villa staff made our stay even more enjoyable and they were really nice and helpful with all our questions. Really recommend it.

Such a lovely stay a highlighting our long trip to Sri Lanka. Loved the house, the staff at the property, and the spa next door. Loved having our own kitchen (it’s fully stoked), and as a couple to have privacy away from the busy town when we wanted. Location to the beach and other walking distant destinations was perfect. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Lace House. La maison et le cadre sont incroyables. Mon fils, surfeur aguerri s’est régalé avec le spot de surf au pied de la maison. Propreté gentillesse et discrétion du cuisinier et de ses assistants. Cuisine excellente et raffinée . Toujours disponibles pour nous rendre service . Ich hatte einen wundervollen Aufenthalt bei Sujantha. Das Zimmer hat alles, was man braucht (auch Klimaanlage). Die Lage ist perfekt, man ist in wenigen Minuten am Strand. Sujantha war äußerst freundlich und hat mich bei allem unterstützt. Klare Empfehlung!

Отдыхали с женой и трехлетним ребенком. В доме чисто, есть стиральная машина автомат, удобная кухня. Хозяин дома и его семья очень приятные люди. Угощали нас вкусным и плотным завтраком) Расположение хорошее, есть где погулять. В пешей доступности черепаший пляж, продуктовые магазины, кафе. Все соответствует описанию.

Наше пребывание на вилле на Шри-Ланке превзошло все ожидания! Это был настоящий райский уголок, где каждая деталь была продумана до мелочей. Вилла оказалась еще красивее, чем на фотографиях: просторные комнаты, стильный интерьер, уютная терраса с видом на океан и потрясающий бассейн, который стал нашим любимым местом для отдыха. Отдельно хочется отметить помощника по вилле, который сделал наш отдых по-настоящему незабываемым. Он был невероятно внимательным, услужливым и всегда готовым помочь в любых вопросах. Его дружелюбие и забота создали атмосферу, как будто мы находились в гостях у близких друзей. Мы уезжаем с огромным чувством благодарности и желанием вернуться сюда снова. Если вы ищете идеальное место для отдыха с безупречным сервисом, то эта вилла — то, что вам нужно! Спасибо за незабываемые эмоции и теплый прием!

Some of the reviews here made me second guess my booking, but you can't always rely on what you read. That said I LOVED my stay here, it was heaven on earth literally ON the beach. I am traveling through SL solo and this place was a dream, Ravi was so helpful and accommodating, he and I got along very well, (yes he is a bit rough around the edges) but you can't always judge a book by its cover. Ravi went out of his way to make me feel welcomed. Erich was amazing as well, his communicaiton was excellent, very responsive. Points: Make sure you discuss price upfront before anything. My only complaint is that Ravi had a bag of laundry done for me and the next day charged me $40 USD!!!! I was floored. I had two bags of laundry done a few days later for $6.50 USD wishing you both all the success ( I have already told 3 people to book with you when they get down South) I hope they do!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Bryans Bungalow. Rani und Lanka waren jederzeit für uns erreichbar und haben uns bei Fragen geholfen. Ruhige Lage und trotzdem zentral genug, um alles in Mirissa zu Fuß erreichen zu können.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft. Die Gastgeber waren zurückhaltend, freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist optimal.

What a beautiful place and the staff were amazing and the food they cooked was the best we’ve had. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a private and spacious place to stay with friends and family.
