Die Unterkunft war sehr gut! Das Frühstück war nicht dabei, war aber dafür sehr lecker. Bier gibt es kalt im Kühlschrank ;)

Der Aufenthalt bei Igor und Michele war einfach schön. Es ist ruhig gelegen, der Pool und die vielen Sitzgelegenheiten laden zum Entspannen ein. Es wurde gemeinsam gefrühstückt und die ganze Stimmung war super freundlich und familiär. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und empfehlen es zu 100% weiter.

Meine Freundin und ich haben eine rundreise durch Sri Lanka gemacht und sind bei der Suche nach einer Unterkunft in Galle auf 18 faces gestoßen. Erst waren wir aufgrund der bisher wenigen Bewertungen nicht sicher ob wir die Unterkunft buchen sollen, haben es aber dann doch gewagt. Fazit: Wir waren begeistert!! Die Unterkunft ist der modern, stilvoll und mit liebe eingerichtet. Die zimmer waren sehr sauber. Da nur wenig Zimmer zur Verfügung stehen war die Unterkunft sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück war, anders als in den meisten Unterkünften, ausgesprochen gut. Man hatte die Auswahl zwischen unterschiedlichen Gerichten und auch extrawünsche wurden einem nicht ausgeschlagen. Ins Zentrum mit dem tun tuk sind es nur wenige Minuten. Nirosh, der Unterkunftsbesitzer war ebenso wie das restliche Personal sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Als wir am letzten Tag einen Transport zu unsere nächsten Unterkunft brauchten, hat nirosh uns höchstpersönlich gefahren. Darüber waren wir sehr erstaunt und besonders dankbar. Wir können allen diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen!

The place was very nice. Placed near to the Midigama Surf Spots and also near to Weligama town. We had a very cheap room with new quiet air condition, a very cozy bed and a clean beautiful bathroom. If you’re a surfer you can easily rent scooters from the host and all good Surf Spots are like a two minutes drive away. Without scooter the next beach is 8 minutes away, very beautiful called jungle beach. There are also some nice and cheap possibilities to eat around the place. What we also really liked was how the host and his family let us take part of their culture with showing us a lot of things like how they’re cooking, how their collecting coconuts from the palm trees and all kind of nice stuff. They even brought us homemade specialities for free every day. So friendly people. There was even a kitchen for the guests where you could cook everything you want and have tea and coffe for free. I’d really recommend this place to everybody.

Localisé à 2 mins à pied de la plage, et à 5 mins d'une rue charmante et vivante de nuit, cette famille est très accueillante et chaleureuse. Sera toujours là pour vous aider, et pour s'assurer que tout va bien. On a même reçu un geste de leur part à la fin de notre séjour. Je recommande vivement!

At first - super fast communication with host. It makes everything much easier! Thanks for that. Everything was good at the end, just a little minus - when we arrived at evening pool was dirty. Also on next morning there was varan (big lizard) swimming - but our kids will say that it’s a plus :)) After we asked about the pool it was immediately cleaned. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was really great. We recommend this place! No worries about the pool we swim and everything was good :)) Beautiful view!

You will find a little whisper of magic in the middle of nowhere with this lovely house that Svava and her husband own ... each nook and cranny has a beautiful story to tell and if you happen to run into the hosts (as we fortunately happened to) they will tell you about the stories behind the elements of the house that they designed and built (So you can image the amount of love that has gone into this place)...Svava was super prompt and proactive with suggestions, tips and helped us out with our transportation as well. Please do not expect to find the luxuries & amenities of a chain hotel or resort - expect a lovely experience that lets you completely detach from your normal routine and be transported into their world & you will go back with your soul feeling like it just took a spa day :) ... it is a little cut off from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street and tourists - so you will have to use the tuk tuk to get anywhere. We wish we had more time to explore the areas around the place!

I spent a week at Meraki and loved it! Every detail—like a flower on the toilet paper, comfy pool cushions, pristine garden, and fluffy towels—added a personal touch. As a small, family-run hotel, Meraki stands out from large chains with genuine care from the owners and staff. On my first solo trip as a woman, I felt completely safe and welcome. The hotel’s design perfectly suits my taste, and I only wished my stay was longer (special thanks to Iona for accommodating a special wish of me!). The pool area is relaxing, and the yoga sessions were very nice (also for a beginner)! With an ideal location near the sea and attractions, plus an excellent breakfast featuring fresh fruits + a la carte options, and fantastic coffee, Meraki truly impressed me. Huge thanks to the entire team! Every single team member was treating me with kindness and I really appreciate this a lot 💚 in my opinion this is the perfect place to be in Sri Lanka’s south coast!

Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt und eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und der Poolbereich sehr schön. Unser Highlight war auf jeden Fall vom Pool die Affen beobachten zu können. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und das Frühstück sehr lecker. Bei der Unterkunft ist man auf jeden Fall auf Verkehrsmittel angewiesen, was für uns aber kein Problem war, da wir mit dem Tuktuk angereist sind. Nachteile waren für uns: - An beiden Abenden hatten wir leider Probleme mit dem WLAN - wer geräuschempfindlich ist, wird abends/früh morgens den Zug hören und auch die Tiere machen natürlich Geräusche 😄 - die Liegen am Pool könnten Auflagen gebrauchen.

This was our favourite stay out of all our extensive travels. Dilini and her family went above and beyond to make it special. Breakfast was home-cooked and delicious, with a variety of local, homemade delights every morning, offering new surprises and flavours. The New Year’s feast was particularly special, shared with us along with some great games we enjoyed taking part in. Dilini, Channa, and the boys were kind and patient playing with our children (4.5yrs and 9months) making us feel very welcome. Thank you for the special memories and sharing your home and culture; we will be back! The surrounding nature and animals were amazing, with monkeys, kittens, and dogs living in harmony. The pool was wonderful, refreshing, and shaded in the afternoons which was a welcome respite for the heat! The location was great, with shops, spas, and good coffee nearby. We couldn’t ask for a better stay! Thank you for everything.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit! Besonders schön war das saubere Zimmer mit der Dusche unter dem freien Himmel, die Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit des Personals, das leckere Frühstück und der tolle Pool. Wir hatten große Freude, den Restaurant- Empfehlungen zu folgen und haben das beste Rice & Curry gegessen. Danke! ☺️

We enjoyed our stay. Our host and staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The space is very serene, and the location is perfect - not far from shops and restaurants but at the same time quiet and peaceful. We felt very welcomed and very well taken care off.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und die Lage super ruhig und privat. Wir haben uns gleich wie zuhause gefühlt. Berni und Prabath waren sehr nett, zuvorkommend und immer gut erreichbar. Auch den Transfer vom Flughafen und ein Roller haben die beiden direkt für uns organisiert. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt, wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Stedet er fantastisk. Alt er indrettet med kærlighed og i flotte farver. Da vi ankom så vi aber og en lille varan, samt masser af jordegern. Indika organiserede et madlavningskursus for os. Det har været fremragende. Poolen er dejlig og afslappende. Vi fik både morgen- og aftensmad og det smagte virkelig godt. En lille perle i et naturområde lige uden for Galle. Dog ligger prisen for Sri Lanka i den høje ende.

From before arriving Rivindu was super helpful with airport taxi and recommendations. The team at the house where even more amazing always helpful, friendly and doing their most to cater to our asks. From organising taxi/tuk tuk, cooking dinners and breakfast. Keeping the place clean. We had a power out due to a light raining period but everyone was on it fixing issues putting the back up solar generator on as the electric mains was down. This was only a small bump but the house didn't feel it much. The bed was super comfy and great pillows. We had breakfast in the pool and at the picnic table with the food being as nice as the views. Fresh fruits, drinks, eggs and toast. One night we had the seafood in latter, honey pork and Tom yum soup. It was super tasty and I'd recommend the Soup but only if you like it spicy! Amazing team, house, views and location to relax and unwind. Recommended!

We stayed in Shanil's place for 6 nights. We were greeted by Suranga and his team immediately after arriving we received a cool coconut drink and felt right at home. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Suranga and his team did an excellent job. Especially the food was fantastic, the chef did an excellent job. One of the best Srilanken food we had in our vacation in Sri Lanka. We had breakfast and dinner as well. The even provided our kids with western breakfast. We felt welcome from start to end and didn't want to leave. Hopefully we are back. The house with the 2 double room and the separate house with the family room is well set up and gives each guest his own privacy. The location is great with the beach and the ocean right in front of the house. With a 15min. Tuktuk ride you are both in Mirissa and Weligama. Thank you very much for having us.

Vi havde et dejligt ophold! Stedet var pænt og rent og personalet var meget behjælpelige og imødekommende og gjorde alt for at gøre vores ophold godt. Vi er under hele vores ophold kun blevet mødt af smil og venlighed. Området byder på mange smukke oplelevelser. Vi kan give vores bedste anbefalinger til Dilhara

Sehr schönes Zimmer mit hoher Decke und großen Fenstern und einen schönen Ausblick auf den Fluss. Das große Bett ist sehr bequem. Leider keine A/C, aber in der Nacht mit Deckenventilator gut erträglich. Keine Kochmöglichkeiten, dafür günstige Restaurants in Fußnähe. Die Familie ist sehr nett - und bei Buchungsänderung unkompliziert.

An absolute life saver for our small family. We even extended our stay by a few extra days. What Dom and Magda have created and built in Ahangama is a testament to their capabilities as a family and couple. They have achieved a level of comfort and detail that is incredibly hard to reach. They have designed a huge villa around the needs of young families with various suites and rooms that tick every box. They are also excellent hosts never too tired to help out and give advice or recommendations. Bravo guys 10/10 and we wish you every success for the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Jungle. We stayed almost 3 weeks. The rooms are classy, the view is amazing, and the location is convenient to all the shops. the staff are professional and very polite and helpful. The sand on the beach is lovely, light, and soft to walk on. The ocean here has fantastic bug eaves you can watch. Its fun to wade in but dangerous to swim a lot of the time. Great for boogie boarding. The food was great and the restaurant service was impeccable.. thank you to all the wonderful staff for allowing us to feel right at home.

I recently stayed at a stunning villa in Weligama, Sri Lanka, booked through Airbnb, and it was an exceptional experience for my family and me. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were cozy and clean, and the common areas offered plenty of room for our two children to play and relax. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the warm hospitality of the hosts. The host’s wife greeted us with a smile and served us the most delicious morning tea with milk . The villa is located in a very peaceful and quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle, making it the perfect retreat for families seeking tranquility. The environment felt safe and welcoming, and we appreciated how baby- and family-friendly the space was I highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Weligama

We stayed a week at Slow Life boutique hotel. It felt very safe and contained . Our room was lovely upstairs with a little balcony ,air conditioning and our own bathroom. Everything was very clean our sheets and towels were changed . The common area was available but when in the hotel we spent more time in our lovely cool bedroom. Marissa was interesting to explore . The southern end of the beach was a lot calmer to swim in. It was great watching the surfers at the northern end of the beach . The only thing that wasn’t available was facilities to cook our own food . But that was fine as there were so many lovely places to eat in Marissa. Our hosts organised a scooter for us to use . Thanks very much for everything.
