The lakefront property was very inviting and clean. The views were spectacular. The host provided everything you would need for the stay ( ie spices, and extra condiments , wood for the fireplace and a nice grill). We enjoyed the hot tub. The water temperature and pressure were great. I highly recommend this property.

A Cozy, Peaceful Retreat in the Woods We had an incredible time at this charming lake house! Nestled in the woods, it provided the perfect blend of privacy, comfort, and natural beauty. The house was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The fireplace added such a warm touch. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bedrooms were comfortable with soft linens that made for restful nights. The host was fantastic—very responsive and thoughtful, providing helpful recommendations for nearby attractions. This cabin truly felt like a peaceful home away from home. We highly recommend this cabin for anyone seeking a tranquil escape into nature. We can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Chris's house was perfect. It was stocked with everything to make it feel like home. It was clean and cozy. Chris was always immediately available if we had a question but since everything was communicated in advance and accessing the property was simple, we had few questions and no needs upon arrival. There are more than enough linens and towels for a large group and plenty of household items so we didn't feel like we needed to run to the store before we could enjoy the space. Also, there are tons of pillows which is always something I find lacking when I rent a house. It is beautiful and peaceful but near enough to all the activities we wanted to enjoy. We went during winter, but the location would also be great for someone wanting to enjoy warmer weather outdoor activities. During the evening we were able to spend time in the game room and play family games together. There are loads of indoor games and game room activities.

the cabin and the scenery were amazing we stayed for 2 nights and would have definitely loved to stay longer. Courtney was a great host, communicated with us very well, was very helpful and let us know if we ever needed anything just to reach out to her. we felt right at home and we definitely plan on returning and we would recommend staying here to anyone. This place is just as pictured. By fault of us we did pass up by GPS ping but after looking for place for a minute we called Robert. He picked right up and was awesome In guiding us back to the cabin which was really right behind us. Opps. I couldn’t have asked for a more responsive n kind individual. Beautiful clean cabin. Beds very comfy!! Everything you need in the kitchen. Bathroom nicely done. Plenty of comfy blankets around! The place was warm n cozy n didn’t even light a fire(as to my husband’s sometimes laziness )😊 beautiful view from kitchen/living room area. We were there in winter (50 degrees in Feb) but I can imagine it being so beautiful once spring n summer roll around. To me “What a bang for the buck” very reasonable in my book. Thank you again for opening this beautiful home to all ❤️❤️

We had hoped for a snowshoeing New Year getaway. The snow didn't show, but that was OK because we had a great time in this adorable cabin anyway! It looks *exactly* like the photos - incredibly clean and every detail thought of to make yourself at home. We loved warming up in the sauna and hot tub and would like to visit again in the warmer months to enjoy some kayaking in the lake and time on the amazing porch!

The Hawk’s nest cabin was a perfect weekend getaway! Super cozy, it was so nice to relax in the quiet of the woods. Luther was a great little town. The cabin was super clean, instructions were clear and simple and the hot tub was amazing! We were bummed we had forgotten a speaker, but there was one built right in to the hot tub! We will be coming back!

Thank you for everything. The home is well stocked with thoughtful amenities. The hot tub was very relaxing. The home is clean, the board games are a great addition. Yard was clean and fenced for our dogs. Denise was very responsive if we needed anything. We greatly appreciate the host.

We truly enjoyed our peaceful, cozy winter getting a way. The cabin was everything we hoped it would be, had enough utilities inside the cabin to be comfortable with ease, and warm, clean bathroom and showers within a perfect distance.

Lori’s place was fantastic! The cabin was just what we were looking for. We planned last minute trip north and found this little gem was available. The cabin was exactly as listed, bath house was always clean and stocked and the showers had hot hot water! It’s centrally located and within an hour and a half drive to the Petoskey, Traverse City and Mackinac City! The cabin was so peaceful and perfect. We plan to return soon!

From check in to check out and In between Lori was available and very friendly and welcoming. She even delivered wood for us so we didn’t have to carry it or put it into our car that was awesome I was very grateful. The cabin was clean and the fire pits are very close to each other I didn’t think I’d like it although it ended up being pretty cool sitting with our neighbors and talking and getting to know them. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back.

I apsalutaly enjoyed staying at Lori's cabins the peace and quiet there was amazing and the almost camping feeling it gives you

The cabin was very close to the other cabins and tent sites and RV sites. But for what we paid for and for what we were looking for, it was wonderful. Lori did a wonderful job assisting us and the other visitors. Bathrooms were clean, the cabin was clean, the campground was well cared for. And we could barely hear our neighbors in the duplex. The site is quite far from anything else but within a beautiful 20-30 minute drive from fun things to do. We would go back again if we need a place to stay for a night or two on our way up to northern MI again, although we would not choose to go there for an actual camping trip as a vacation.

The Trapper Cabin was cozy and perfect for what my Wife and I needed for our ski trip! We used it as a base camp and it was exactly as described. The outside temps dropped below 10 degrees at times but the heat in the cabin was very efficient and kept it toasty. The bath house was super clean and better than expected. The only thing was the bed was a bit firm.

It's hard to outshine experiencing northern Michigan for the first time and the cabin was a great choice for a place to stay during my visit. Great for couples and a small family. Lori was very welcoming and friendly. I would recommend anyone stay here if your visiting the area. Will be back next year for the Snow Drift Rally

This was my first time renting an Airbnb and I was hesitant given the reputation. Christina's cabin was beyond 5 stars. Quiet, remote, peaceful, and beautiful. There were instructions for any questions you could think of. Christina has thought of everything. Even if something was forgotten, Christina had extra. I will be back for another fall vacation at this cabin in the future.

I hate to write this review because others will then want to book and we might not be able to get it. Such a beautiful home on a great piece of property. Easy access to snowmobile trails. 10 minutes from town for dinner. I would definitely come back again!
