C'était notre première fois dans ce chalet - nous louons habituellement le chalet d'à côté, plus petit, appartenant aux mêmes propriétaires. Notre séjour a été excellent, comme d'habitude - chalet super propre et bien entretenu, jacuzzi, table de billards, espace extérieur pour faire un feu, etc. Le décor est aussi magnifique, aussi bien en hiver qu'en été. Nous y retournerons!

this was our groups second time staying at Victoria and Mervyn's place, and we'll be coming back again. beautiful secluded location, hot tub, fire pit, nice open space with many bedrooms. when an issue arose they were very quick to fix it. we'll be back! thank you!

Spent 4 nights at the cottage with a family of 5. Harsh was very responsive to all communication prior/during/post stay. The cottage was well located for those seeking peace and quiet. Hot tub worked well. The cottage was well supplied, we did not lack anything. A nice surprise bottle of wine was offered and appreciated. Internet connection was fast, electric and wood fireplaces add a nice ambiance and warmth to the cottage. Overall, great stay for a family of 5, would fit 6 maximum. Highly recommend for those travelling to the area for some R&R and/or small family getaway in nature.

Chouette chalet très bien situé pour aller profiter de la montagne. Les escaliers vers le lac étaient dégagés ce qui était agréable. Les chalet n’a pas de lave vaisselle mais la disposition de la cuisine permet de faire la vaisselle facilement

C'était notre 2e séjour dans ce chalet et nous avons adoré notre semaine. Maison chaleureuse décorée soigneusement et avec un style personnel. Table-tournante avec une magnifique sélection de disques. Nous reviendrons!

la maison est tres grande, les lits comfortables, le bain à bulle est géniale. A 2 minutes à pieds du lac. Tres tres cool la table de ping pong 🤙

I'll admit, based on the reviews our expectations were high. They were exceeded in nearly every facet of our stay. We desperately needed ( election fatigue) to get away and have a week of peace, quiet, and serenity. Danielle and Jorden's home was perfect. there was not one single time while staying there that we looked for something that didn't exist. The bathrooms and kitchen are fabulous, and all are very well appointed. The radiant floors in the ensuite bath were a nice touch. The location is ideal, you are right on the lake with wonderful views from both inside and out, and despite having neighbors, it feels incredibly private. We had one small mechanical issue which Danielle took care of immediately. they were a pleasure to speak with, and their response time was always nearly immediate. The locals were incredibly friendly, the supermarket is just across the lake, and there's a nice dog park for those bringing their fur babies. We look forward to a returning to this ideal spot.

Beautiful cottage on the lake with lots of rooms. The view from upstairs watching the sunrise was beautiful despite all the snow!

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

Our stay was great! No issues whatsoever, host was accommodating and friendly, house had everything we needed, we stayed for work, so didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit with wood provided which I thought was very nice of the hosts! Water was not potable but the hosts leave you lots of drinking water, and water to make coffee!!

Everything about our stay was exceptional from the minute we arrived! It was the perfect fall getaway, with a cozy place to stay especially with the beautiful fall leaves changing around us. It was close and convenient to pop in to town, and we just had the best visit! The cottage was well maintained, clean and organized with everything we needed. The hosts were helpful, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our trip. I can’t say enough good things - we couldn’t have picked a better place for our stay!

We had an amazing stay at Caroline’s place. A very relaxing weekend getaway. The place smelled clean as soon as you walked in. The beds were so comfortable and clean. The sauna was amazing while it was snowing, very cool feature !! Has everything you need from entertainment to dishes, we finished a couple puzzles while we were there and there were tons of games and the tv has surround sounds so it was great for hockey games and movies! Would love to stay again in the summer. The description of the place was 100% accurate. Thanks for hosting us !!

Had an amazing stay! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the place was super peaceful and cozy. Perfect spot to just chill and unwind. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with some incredible scenery. Erica is a great host!

Our group of 10 had a wonderful stay at Glenn's beautiful cottages. We were able to sleep 5 in each cottage with plenty of beds to spare. We enjoyed canoeing, swimming in the lake, grilling on the barbecue, and staying in playing board games when it rained. It would have been nice to have the hot tubs active during the rain, but we made do with the indoor jacuzzi tub! Glenn was super helpful, informative, and responsive which we all appreciated. And we loved that this was one of the only places around with a large enough kitchen table to seat everyone for a meal! Overall a very pleasant stay, highly recommended.

The cottage location is so peaceful and beautiful. I felt like I was in a treehouse looking over the river and up at the tops of the trees. And the chairs on the sandy beach were fabulous.

This cottage was the absolute perfect place to enjoy some down time as a family! The cottage was clean, well equipped and located on a beautiful, quiet beach. Everything we needed was provided and more! We enjoyed playing soccer on the large sandy beach, swimming, fishing, board games, campfires and watching movies in the evening. The kids and parents loved it!

Myself and 3 ladies so enjoyed this peaceful fun weekend Their Air B&B was the perfect place to unwind, take walks, very clean, beautiful lakefront and sunsets were stunning Close to Carleton Place and Almonte for shopping and terrific restaurants Would certainly recommend.. Enjoy if you do book in the future!

This gem tucked on the Madawaska River is ideal for many reasons: - the cabin is situated on a small hill overlooking the flowing river, it is peaceful and beautiful, cosy and cute. - it is located in an area that is great for those looking for a little wanderlust/adventure close by - Tooey's Lake & Lake Clear were the nearby lakes that were great for day trips! - and the cabin itself is very clean, well equipped for making meals, and super comfortable - the mattresses were amazing, plush and comfortable. Luka is a terrific host, attentive, quickly responsive, and added some nice touches to our stay (provided wood for our fires, and dropped off some extra essentials that we needed). Keep in mind to bring your linens, and that swimming is not ideal for those with mobility issues, although, for those more experienced swimmers, it is a great spot to enjoy the water. We will be back, thanks Luka! 5 Stars all around.

My wife and I enjoyed another wonderful weekend and this perfect cozy cottage. All aspects of this property are top notch from the location to the construction. Every detail has been thoughtfully addressed to create a comfortable home away from home. Chris and David are the ultimate hosts and always go above and beyond to ensure that we have the best vacation possible. Somehow they were even able to provide beautiful warm sunny weather for our weekend. :)

Katie's cottage was the perfect weekend getaway for us all, and before and throughout the stay she was communicative and helpful. We were a group of 6 adults and we felt extremely comfortable with the amenities and amount of space available, as well as the beautiful lakeview. Katie was also kind enough to leave us with ample cooking supplies and even a s'mores kit and a bottle of sparkling wine! The cottage itself was very cozy and did not feel cramped or aged at all. All in all, it was a fantastic stay and we're bookmarking her place to reserve another trip in the near future!

Absolutely spectacular. Hidden gem! If you are looking for something private but still within a 15-20minute drive to groceries this is the place to stay! You won’t be disappointed. Comfortably holds a family of 6! We had an absolute blast! Stunning property and open concept cottage. Lots of natural light and gorgeous view from the living room! The dock and wrap around deck were absolutely beautiful to enjoy for sunrise and sunset! 2 hour drive to Ottawa and 2 hours to Gatineau National Park! Highly recommend the drive into Gatineau park! And Pink Salmon trail! If you have fur babies, this park is very restricted due to the sensitive eco system! Really cute shops and restaurants in downtown Ottawa and in Gatineau Park! We absolutely will be coming back (: Thank you Rachael for being an incredible host! Very responsive to requests and very accommodating !

Très bel endroit, calme et intime. Tout est pensé, tout est indiqué et clair, service impeccable, très facile de communiquer avec l'hôte! On y retournera c'est sur et plus longtemps pour pouvoir en profiter encore plus!

We had a wonderful stay! We had gloriously warm, sunny weather every day, with not a drop of rain. It was just the two of us so we opted to stay in the beautiful, cozy boathouse. It had everything we needed. The summer kitchen is basic but very functional and served our needs. The boathouse is very private and the surroundings were quiet. Just be ready for the stairs down from the main house/parking area. They’re steep but well lit, with lots of handrails. There’s a very cool screened building halfway down too. The swimming is fantastic - it’s deep off the dock and the water was really clear. Every day we swam, lounged on the dock, had coffee on the balcony, took afternoon naps, BBQ’d, and enjoyed drinks by the campfire. A truly restful vacation. James was a great and very responsive host. We highly recommend staying here!
