We loved this beautifully designed and decorated timber-frame barn in hilly, Illinois farm country! Jilly and KenBob are warm hosts who welcomed us with convivial conversation and our pup with a canine chorus.

We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. It was exactly as pictured and even more comfortable. We will definitely stay again. We all appreciated the treats, sheets and towels making our dog feel comfortable, too!

This airbnb was amazing! It was beautiful and peaceful. We loved staying here and would love to visit again.

This was a beautiful location for my husband and I to get away for a night. It felt welcoming and clean. Though we didn’t stay long enough to use the kitchen amenities much, it seemed to be stocked well for those wishing to cook during their stay.

We enjoyed the cozy and rustic feeling of the home and the company of farm animals, the clear sky for stargazing is a bonus too. Lenore and Scott were very friendly and gave us a tour of the farm. Glad to pet some of the animals and learn more about the history of the farm. The bathroom in unit was not shown in the description but it’s well equipped with toilet and shower. The beds are a bit squeezy but once I fell asleep it was no problem. The stay was wonderful overall and I would like to visit again!

I had a wonderful stay. It was peaceful and I enjoyed the local trails. The Cottage had all I could want or need, it was cozy and clean. Emily was a lovely host and left fantastic information about the area.

Deanna's place was clean and quiet. She made the check-in and stay a breeze!

Samantha was a great host. Very responsive and helpful. The garage space was bigger than expected! I was able to fit my 2 place enclosed snowmobile trailer and truck in every night with ease. The best part was the bar/lounge room with the projector and drop down screen to watch TV on.

Mike & Sheila’s place was a gem! We enjoyed every minute in the cottage, and only wish we could have stayed longer. One of the most cozy stays we’ve experienced, beautifully built cottage, clean, with all the amenities we needed! Mike and Sheila were both so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. We plan on coming back and experiencing the cottage and surroundings in the summer or fall weather.

Beautiful and unique stay, the barn was restored with the utmost attention to detail. Kids loved the loft. Fantastic use of space.

Geri’s place is perfect if you’re looking to get away for a couple days. Plus, pretty cool, llamas and pig!

Ron was extremely nice and helpful, and he had a welcoming personality! He responded to texts immediately, and he was the perfect host. We enjoyed our stay, and we will be going back again!

The barn was a lovely getaway for myself and my family, my mother from NH joined us and our kids for a weekend trip and really fell in love with the surroundings. The kids loved feeding Phiona and Donkey. Who knew donkeys were so cute!? They really did have the sweetest little personalities. The home itself was so special with something to look at in every corner. We enjoyed some hot chocolate, coffee and snacks while sitting outside on the porch. All around such a lovely time.

We had a wonderful visit. It was exactly like the photos and better. We especially loved their large, shaded backyard that back right up to the Bayou Teche. Great furnishings. The beds were comfortable and the claw foot bathtub was a nice touch. Near some great attractions: Jefferson Island, Avery Island, antique shopping in Franklin. Great location outside of town. Would absolutely stay here again!

This stay was absolutely breathtaking. My fiancé and I fell in love the second we arrived. The home was very neat and cozy, and felt just like a home should! The property looked even better in person! There was so much to explore and the cows were just too cute. The house had everything we needed to cook which was a huge plus because we cooked the whole weekend. The hosts were more than welcoming which made the trip so much better. We definitely will be coming back❤️

Great weekend getaway! Absolutely loved the bin and its story! Our host has a great eye for design. You can tell she puts a lot of love into the place! We had everything we needed, including a beautiful pasture with a built in sunset right out our front door! Thank you for sharing your special place with us! We highly recommend the bin for a stay and plan to come back again!

The place was fantastic. Felt like a comfortable, small family farm, just as it was described. The dogs, chickens, peacocks, kids on 4-wheelers ... what a great environment.

We could not have asked for a more relaxing place to celebrate our anniversary weekend. We were in need of some mental rest, and everything about The Farmhouse provided that for both of us. Definitely going to recommend to friends & family!

Our host went above and beyond during our trip—before we even arrived! They reached out ahead of time to warn us about incoming snowy and dangerous driving conditions, which was incredibly thoughtful and helpful. They were very flexible with allowing us to reschedule in response to the storm too! It’s not every day you find a host who genuinely cares about your safety and well-being. Their communication was clear, timely, and reassuring, which gave us peace of mind. It really set the tone for the entire stay and made us feel like we were in good hands. You can tell they take hosting seriously and truly care about their guests. Highly recommend staying here—not just for the space, but for the kindness behind it. Oh!
