Our stay was wonderful. Took me back to my youth and growing up in a rural area. Very peaceful and quiet.

It was soooo clean. That’s the most important thing to me and it was spotless. The decor was so beautiful and the wood work was gorgeous.

great stay. was a little hard to get gps to cooperate. also we were trying to navigate in the dark which didn't help.

we did a girls trip and stayed 4 days. this was the most peaceful location. Meg and her family are amazing and super friendly. the animals on-site are the sweetest babies to have as a bonus. the location is great as you are 20 min drive to Denver. I loved the view and the total experience. I will definitely be staying again

Beautiful place! Especially appreciated the Christian atmosphere. We loved walking at the regional park right behind the farm as well. Great coffee at Froth and cork and yummy food at The Confluence hotel, both in Hastings.

We loved our stay at The Roost. The area was beautiful and peaceful, and it was so clean and cozy. We enjoyed all the little extra touches throughout, as well as the walking paths and outdoor space. We would definitely stay again if we’re ever in the area again.

We had a good time and enjoyed the space. Convenient quarter mile off the highway so a quick zip up to Iowa City. Private and spacious lodgings which were plenty for our family of three. Only place where I’d knock off points is the aroma. Do know that the house is attached to a horse barn—as in you can see it through the downstairs window—so expect an adjustment period to that smell. Wasn’t a deal breaker for us, but I guess I didn’t read closely about that. I suppose it’s a true farm vibe that way! All in all a quality stay.

This was a beautiful home Good things to do close by and plenty of room for our family to stay together nice and privet and very well kept we really enjoyed the view and bunnies definitely recommend this home. Amazing host as well

Amazing stay quiet peaceful and very welcoming

Samantha was a great host. Very responsive and helpful. The garage space was bigger than expected! I was able to fit my 2 place enclosed snowmobile trailer and truck in every night with ease. The best part was the bar/lounge room with the projector and drop down screen to watch TV on.

We had a nice time with our new baby and a crib was available for us to use!

Perfect escape—Mike and Sheila are wonderful hosts, and responsive to questions. The setting of the Mill is breathtaking. I travel globally, and this was probably the coziest place I ever been (note—I was very comfortable, even in the -17F temperatures!). Nice linens, great little kitchen, pristine bathroom, and a notably flattering bathroom mirror! On this jaunt, I was a solo (female) traveler, and felt perfectly at ease. I was visiting to do some writing, and the Driftless views from every window inspired me. Yes! I will be back!

I loved my weekend getaway at the barn! This place has charm and personality flowing from every board and nail. And it's significantly roomier inside than I had imagined. A perfect environment to work on a creative project or just find some quiet peace. Patrick and Jessica were terrific hosts. Communication was clear, timely, and very helpful. Check in was a breeze and it was easier to get feeling like home thanks to everything being well labeled and stored intuitively. I can't think of anything in terms of basic living supplies the place was lacking. The gas fireplace kept it nice and toasty, and the bed was super cumfy too. I had a terrific time!

My partner and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and it was everything we hoped for and more. The cabin was so cute and full of character. Speaking of characters, Waylon the pig was definitely a highlight of our stay and we were very appreciative of the opportunity to meet all of the farm animals on the property, including getting to hold the baby sheep who was born during our stay. Thank you for a great experience!!

We were pleasantly surprised at how much there was to do at the Barnhouse! There was a ping pong table, games, and hot tub kept my daughter’s friends busy the whole time. The bathrooms were also impeccably clean! Beautiful home and location, would definitely use again and recommend to others!

We absolutely love the beauty and peacefulness this cabin brings. The photos do not do it justice. We made a poor choice to try to wait out the snow storm. Radonna's husband not only cleared a path he had to pull us out too. Then made sure we made it all the way to the highway. We are so grateful for their kindness and look forward to booking again when the weather is nicer. We enjoyed playing the games as a family. Our kids experienced a record player for the first time. Thanks for a great stay and then some!!

Lovely renovated barn into a beautiful place to stay. The historical pictures were very interesting and increased our appreciation of the barndominium.

We had the absolute best weekend staying at Labby’s Homestead and Barndominium. The place was absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful outdoor area. Quick little 5 minute drive to the train station and downtown area. We definitely plan to come back soon!

I loved my stay at The Henhouse! The place is simply adorable, and I loved using the hot tub and bath. Kitchen was super cute, and I loved watching the animals on the farm. Jillynn is a wonderful host!

We had a great time over Thanksgiving week at this beautiful rental. The view from the dining room table was gorgeous and we took advantage of the local trail system for daily walks in nature. We were especially appreciative of the in floor heating system.

The grain bin was everything we expected and more. Christy was amazing for the last minute snow removal the day after we checked in. The property is truly remarkable. And her husbands vision for the grain bin was just astoundingly breathtaking. Hopeful to rent again when there isn’t snow to enjoy the hiking trails in the back yard.

The house was very clean and located close enough to many things to do and in a beautiful area. Would definitely stay again if we were to go back.

Peter, and the Barn, were as advertised; amazing! Gorgeous property and fantastic location. Day trips to Jackson, Yellowstone, or the Tetons are easy. Nothing like sitting by the Wind River at the end of the day with your loved one. We will definitely return without looking at other options. Highly recommend horseback riding into the Badlands with Said Creek outfitters.

We spent 2 nights in the spring to participate in the crane migration. Absolutely enjoyed our time at the house as it was comfortable for our group. We made the 30-45 minute drive to the river blinds at both the Crane Trust facility as well as the Audubon Rowe Sanctuary. Scott was great in his communications and the place is so fabulous. Hopefully will get a chance to stay again.
