very hard to find. the best is if you put feza school in to google maps. the apartment is around the corner. otherwise the apartment is very nice and clean. we also loved the pool. hope to come back one day

Beautiful hill top villa in a quiet local area just a 5 minute walk on grass and sandy paths through a rural neighborhood to the beach. Pictures are accurate and the place is well maintained. Wonderful place to feel a small taste of what it’s like to live in Zanzibar without all the hustle a bustle. Super friendly neighbors…they even came by to see if my husband wanted to play soccer after he indicated the day before he would like to join their beach game. Ali, the house manager, is a true gem. Super kind, communicative, easy going and responsive while offering so many wonderful services. A/C works great, hot water is great, beds are comfortable. It’s rural, and in exactly where it’s indicated on the AirBnB map as well as Google, though roads are unsigned and I paved. Don’t be discouraged, you will find it (plus they plan to put up signs to make it easier).

This was my third stay with Saidi in Fumba, and just like the first time, it was absolutely fantastic! Saidi is an exceptional host warm, welcoming, and always available to assist with anything needed. His hospitality truly makes you feel at home. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for a peaceful getaway. Whether it’s enjoying the serene surroundings, exploring the local area, or simply relaxing, Fumba is a great escape from the busier parts of Zanzibar. What keeps me coming back is not just the beautiful setting but also Saidi’s genuine kindness and attention to detail. He goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a great experience. Great stay in Stone Town right by Ferry. I’m a return traveler to Zanzibar town. Stone town is an historic district of Zanzibar town with ancient architecture that’s slowly being restored to its old glory. Accommodation is hard to come by around here so finding Malaika’s listing and a super responsive host at last minute was a treat. It’s spacious & the 2 bathrooms was an extra treat. The host, cohost and Housekepers were within reach and very responsive to all our needs and requests.

We had a great stay at BT cottages. The staff were helpful whenever we needed something. Urah was so great and always available. The kitchen wasn’t fully stocked but Urah delivered whatever we requested for. I loved the fact that the place was peaceful and we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. I’ll definitely recommend and come back. Thank you.

We stayed at Eta's Airbnb last year and came back again because we liked it so much!!! The A/C in the bedrooms is great, I love the location, the decor and little extras are thoughtful and we love that the suite is on the main floor. The only downside this year was, the neighbours upstairs were louder than last year with a screaming toddler who was often up by 5:00 am. The master bedroom had windows facing the courtyard and it was very loud. I would still stay at this suite again though!!! Thanks Romain and Eta... see you next year!!!

Highly recommend!!! Salum's rooftop apartment is conveniently located in Stone Town and very spacious. Exactly what we wanted. The apartment is across 3 levels, so guests need to be mindful of the stairs, but no issues for our family of 5. We travelled in January, so the air-conditioning in the twin room and fans in all bedrooms was a welcome relief. Although we didn't need the service, Salum was also able to organise local tours. Wish we stayed longer! Fantastic accommodation. thanks Salum!

My stay at this beautiful property in Zanzibar was incredible. The house is truly a dream—spacious, elegant, and equipped with all the amenities you could wish for. There is a very special feature in this property that is a private access to the ocean. It gives you your own slice of paradise. The house is wonderfully private, making it ideal for a peaceful retreat, yet it’s close enough to explore Zanzibar’s many attractions. The host is exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure every need is met. Her warmth, attention to detail, and local tips made the experience unforgettable. I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! Julia was an amazing host, always on hand to respond and went out of her way to make sure we were well looked after. Her attentiveness made the stay even more enjoyable. Pascal, who was on-site, was extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much hassle for him, and he always greeted us with a smile, ready to assist whenever needed. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. It was also very cosy, making it the perfect place to unwind. The attention to detail made it feel like a true home away from home. The highlight, however, was the breathtaking sea view. Waking up to it every morning was absolutely magical. Pictures don’t do it justice! I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Julia and Pascal’s hospitality made all the difference. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Great host. The host deserves to to be ranked as a "Super Host". The host was more than accommodating, He went above and beyond. The home was spotless and right on the ocean, as described. The view was magnificent and breathtaking. We watched the cruise ships sail past the house. Fishermen who fished for crabs often stopped by, as we lounged on the veranda or in the pool, to offer us fresh crabs from the ocean. On arrival, the host provided tropical juices, wine, and water. This was one of the best Airbnb hosts I have encountered. Should I return to Zanzibar, I hope I am lucky enough to stay at the Ocean Bay Villa. I recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Zanzibar.

Riz is a gem! We absolutely loved our stay in his apartment. Very spacious various balconies and spotless clean! What stood out the most was the communication between Riz and me. wow!!! what a beautiful apartment. Dennis's place was absolutely amazing. We were there for our wedding anniversary for 2 weeks and Dennis met me and gave us a gift of a bottle of champagne. Anytime I had a question Dennis was extremely responsive in helping make this a very peaceful and lovely vacation. my husband and I had an amazing time and I will highly recommend Dennis place. It was very clean, looked like the pictures, and the art work and decorations were gorgeous. the only downside was that the apartment is on the 4th floor so...get ready for some exercise. Thanks for everything Dennis!

I am very thankful for the time I could spend at the embassy appartment. It was a very nice environment, the land lady was very helpful in everything and I am just looking forward to my next stay with the embassy appartment. The location is also nice and developping around, you can have nice local food next to you. The appartment was nice, it had also solar, what made it easy to work remote & the wireless was also enough strong. All in All very very happy and a little bit sad to leave. See you next time! Simone is an amazing host, very friendly, go out of his way to assist and make you feel very informed and very welcome. The house is on an amazing location right on the beach with immaculate views. The staff are all very friendly and we had an amazing stay. Will come back for family holidays here and definitely recommend to anyone going to Zanzibar.
