We arrived just before the sun started to set and the view across the wetlands was absolutely magical! Lots of wildlife visible from the balcony, which was great! We had everything we needed, and the place was very cosy and comfortable. The cabin felt secluded and private, but was just a short drive to Launceston. Easy to find too, and the directions were helpful. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back

What a beautiful place in the most stunning setting. No detail has been spared - everything is so beautifully thought through and considered. It was pristinely clean and had everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was a wonderful addition after a long day of exploring! We would recommend to anyone. Sarah was a perfect host and super communicative. We’d love to come back.

An absolutely perfect base in Deloraine that is remarkably private & secluded whilst being right in the heart of the town. Completely walkable if you want to explore Deloraine, enjoy the river or look for platypus. Also a great spot to stay if you wish to visit Cradle Mountain like us, or follow along for the Tasting Trail. Em was an exceptional host who went above and beyond to welcome us & make us feel right at home. We loved the book of recommendations! The home was thoughtfully designed, furnished & it was super clean. The view was amazing too. A delightful accomodation to stay for a portion of our honeymoon & would highly recommend. Epic mountain views, cute friendly farm animals, welcoming and accessible host, but gave plenty of space. Cabin has everything you need. Really lovely stay

Susie and Gordon have a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Very peaceful and has everything you could ask for and more. They were very responsive and helpful during our stay. A car is highly recommended for this trip as there isn’t much public transport and there are lovely farms, wineries, waterfalls and beaches nearby to explore. We would love to stay again. Couldn’t have chosen a better spot for our first holiday together.

Absolutely beautifully presented place. In hindsight would rather have stayed here longer than shared with another AirBNB. We really enjoyed the peaceful serenity while watching the little wrens and wallabies feed. It definitely provided the off switch to life. We came to do some hiking around the area and the location was great for this if you have a car. Very comfy bed (we stayed downstairs) and beautiful linens. We found Sheffield town provided all the basics needed for cooking at home. We drove to Devonport for lunch (Mrs Jones) and a short walk on a rainy day. The food and wine were really good excellent recommendation from the host. Side note, don’t trust Waze to get you there at night. We found in Tassie Waze took us to some interesting locations full stop. We would suggest using Apple or Google maps while here, didn’t have issues with them.

This is a little gem, perfect for a few nights surrounded by trees. We loved splashing in the creek, and started gazing from the rear verandah. Everything was as described and we had what we needed for a lovely stay, despite a big rainy day. Would definitely recommend staying.

We had a most wonderful time at this obviously-loved cottage. Plenty to do even if you're not into fishing. We cycled, and kayaked and walked and explored the stunning area. And relaxed with a red wine in front of the fire. Perfectly clean, comfortable and homely and we can't wait to book our next trip

Great former bakery stay. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to Launceston and DeLoraine and beyond. Stephanie was very welcoming and it was great to see the White House, too.

Fantastic location away from city lights and noise where you can enjoy nature in peace. Great fireplace to warm up when it gets cold outside.

For the LOCATION: The location is PERFECT for people who want to visit Cradle Mountain. The living place has a fantastic view of the mountains. It is about a 15-minute drive to the closest town of Tasmania. For the HOUSE: Everything is well-maintained and tidy. The facility is old but enough to use. Do not recommend BBQ, because the BBQ facility is outside and it would bother other neighbours. The kitchen comes with some kitchen utensils but it needs to be further cleaned. For the ENVIRONMENT: If you are an animal lover, this place is the best for you! There are lots of animals and also a cute kitty in the reception :)

Had stayed here before but in the other cottage with a different host, it left a lot to be desired. This time with a different cottage and host it was great, so peaceful and terific view of the Wetland and the birds. Thanks Tiarna for a great stay.

John’s place is a lovely haven in the woods, surrounded by beautiful views, entertaining farm animals, and a heated swimming pool as a bonus! John was very informative and helpful, and promptly answered our questions. We found the place to be a convenient location for our Cradle Mountain adventure—about a 40-45-minute drive from the park.

This accommodation was outstanding. It was beautifully decked out, fantastic position and views. Great location to base ourselves and do day trips around the area. Suzanne was a great host. Detailed information provided about the accommodation / facilities. Easy check in/ check out

Our family had a really great time here and everything was as described! Cabin was very comfortable, and John was an extremely kind host. The backdrop of Mt Roland is beautiful and we enjoyed watching the platypus in the pond on site

What a beautiful, warm and cosy cabin to stay at. Uninterrupted views of The Great Lake. Such a fantastic location. A short stroll to the Lodge which serves food and drinks and to the Great Lake shore. Wonderful wifi and phone reception. Extremely clean and tidy. This cabin was just magical. Impressive interior design details and by far the best place I've stayed in Tasmania. I only wish I could stay longer. I will definitely be returning with friends and family. I can't recommend Cool Springs Miena highly enough. Thanks for sharing your home Stace & Timmy. You've done a wonderful job and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

This place is incredible I have travelled and stayed many places around Tasmania and this one would be my favourite. The peacefulness in the surroundings and the beautiful outlook and mountains is something special. If you love the outdoors and wanting something beautiful to stay in there, this is your place. We absolutely loved our buggy tour and it felt full of adventure seeing so much wildlife The cabin was so clean and tidy and beautiful to look at. If you are wanting a place that feels like home yet incorporates Tasmania and all its beauty, then this is the place to go. The room was modern and comfortable and everything was thought of including our beautiful breakfast.. the host are so welcoming and so easy to communicate with. We are so grateful for our time there and we cannot wait to return. This place is truly heavenly.
