Had a great time at Cheryl’s house! It was the perfect house for our girl’s weekend. Lots of space with a large kitchen, and beautiful view of the lake. Loved curling up by the fireplace and chatting at night. So many bedrooms and space for our whole group. We can’t wait to come back in the summer!

Absolutely amazing place to stay! This is my second time staying here this year and I know I will be back in the future!

Amazing views, great natural light, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and updated bathrooms. Enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and Adirondack chairs on the sandy shoreline watching the wildlife. Super close to Lake City and Frontenac State Park and just a short drive to Red Wing-this is a great spot for exploring the towns, taking a hike or just relaxing at this beautiful spot and home.

Colleen was an amazing host. She was easy to communicate with, and typically responded to messages within 30 minutes. She was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We are a family of 9 adults and 4 small children that live in Washington; and met in Chippewa Falls to celebrate our son's 31st birthday. Colleen's Airbnb was absolutely beautiful, and the perfect place for a family gathering. It's hard to put into words how lovely this home and property were. Everything about this home was high end: the kitchen was complete with every possible appliance ; the finishings and furniture were tasteful and high quality; the beds were very comfortable with nice linens and comforters. The 4 bathrooms all had showers/tubs. The setting of the home was lovely, and the lake was a beautiful backdrop for our time spent inside and out. We enjoyed the fire pit, the playset and walking on the frozen lake. I would highly recommend this Airbnb!

I could not get in when I arrived after driving all the way from Kansas City. Batteries were dead in electronic door lock and neither myself or Airbnb support could contact host or co-host; I had to drive into Sparta and find lodging. Fortunately the problem was fixed by the next morning and a partial refind promptly issued, as I would not want to have missed out on this absolute gem of a property. Stunning views, beautifully appointed, clean & comfortable. Clear directions for heat, tv, etc. Had the 'little things' that hotels don't have, like accessible cleaning supplies if needed, plenty of trash bags and ziplock-style bags, scissors, games, extra outdoor chairs, plenty of clean & comfortable extra blankets. Looking forward to a future stay and have encouraged friends and family to check it out! Love that dogs are allowed.

We loved the layout of the house and the view of Lake Pepin at sunset. We had just the right amount of rooms and space for my son’s families and myself. The fireplaces were an added benefit which we truly enjoyed. Although we came down with the flu we all enjoyed the time spent there together. Thank you Sandy and Eric for sharing your house with us. It is a very special place.

Cute cottage was a perfect weekend getaway. Cute town that was walkable from the cottage.

The house was great. We loved the open spaces, but then having separated areas for sleeping. Overall, it was a great location, and a great stay.

We loved our stay here. The location by the river and farm is pristine. Andy went out of his way to make sure our kiddo got to ride the pony. Great coffee shop a short drive away (Nolstagic Bean). We hope to come back!
