Tsasaa and Enkhbayar are very friendly and warm-hearted guys. The resort is very comfortable and the location is really the best one, even better than the star-standard hotels. The only thing that is not convenient is they don't supply lunch and dinner, you need to go somewhere else to find food to eat. But I think I will still choose them again next time.

Enkhbayar is the right person for you. I spent a month alone with him, here is my feedback: 1- Why do you need a guide? Impossible to travel very far from the capital without a guide: chaotic roads (huge holes, mud, rivers...), extremely difficult driving (expect breakdown, puncture), no signs (even the locals get lost), complicated communication (no English speakers). Enkhbayar speaks quite good English, knows the north-west of Mongolia perfectly, and is an outstanding driver! Note: I wanted to go to the summer camp to document the nomadic life of reindeer herders, but if the journey is too long for you, Enkhbayar is very flexible and can take you wherever you want. He has different offers (1 day, 3 days, one week, etc.) and knows a lot of herders if you need (cows, horses, sheep, and even camels). 2- My stay in Mongolia with Enkhbayar Arrival in Ulan-Bator on 12/07, Enkhbayar came to pick me up at the airport at 6am. Departure for the reindeers camp the next morning. 5 days of travel (40h to 50h depending on the weather) to Tsagaannuur, magnificent landscapes, then horseback riding for 10 hours to reach the camp which is a few kilometres from the Russian border. I had never ridden a horse before (it went quite well despite some aches and pains; note that this last stage is psychologically/physically difficult - you can do it in 2 days by sleeping in a tent). Note: for the reindeers camp, it’s also possible to get a flight for Hovsgol, in order to avoid 2 or 3 days in car. Life in the camp Travelling alone, I slept in Enkhbayar's tipi with his wife and son. I was offered a private tipi but we were already getting on very well so we tipi-shared. They cooked every morning, lunchtime, evening. A few years ago they had a restaurant so they make very good food! Meat, noodles, soups, ravioli, bread, reindeer butter, reindeer milk... Staying several weeks I was able to sympathize with some nomads of the camp. To have a real discussion with them, I had to go through the translation of Enkhbayar. I can't describe in a few lines all the richness of this culture. Their hospitality and generosity is incredible; all the people in the camp are extremely kind. Tsattan and shamanism These people are called Tsattan because they are reindeer herders. Most of them are Buddhists and also follow the principles of shamanism. Enkhbayar's wife is a shaman. Respect their traditions and the rules that follow and you will have very good memories. The shamans in this camp do not use drugs or alcohol, so don't worry. Just make sure you don't take photos, videos or record sounds during the rituals (which are very occasional). The return The return journey also went very well. It is still a very long trip (count 6 days from the camp to Ulaanbaatar in order to have the possibility to have some breaks). Nous avons passé un super séjour à Kharkhorin. La yourte est très agréable et est située à proximité de sites très beaux (presque magiques : vallée de l'Orkhon). L'hôte et Anuujin sont d'une très grande gentillesse et l'hôte nous a extrêmement bien accueillies. Seule Annujin parle anglais, ce qui a facilité la communication (par appels et messages). De plus, Annujin nous a organisé et négocié des prix pour des excursions hors de Kharkhorin. Merci infiniment pour ce séjour que nous avons beaucoup apprécié!

The hospitality here is unmatched. The staff are incredibly kind and go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable. They arranged tours, transfers, and everything I needed during my stay. What stood out the most was how genuinely warm and welcoming Undra was. She made delicious Mongolian meals for me which were some of the best I’ve had. Her husband was also very considerate and ensured that the room was warm and cozy, even though it was winter. Staying in a modern ger was the perfect introduction to traditional Mongolian living. I think it’s an excellent place for beginners to experience a ger stay for the first time. I highly recommend staying here – it truly made my trip unforgettable.

The place was really clean and Enkhbayar's parents were really hospitable. They were really friendly and helped us by giving the local tips.

Fantastic time! We were met at the airport, there were no problems. We agreed on a schedule and places where we want to go in advance. Moved to the national park to ride horses. The owner turned out to be an excellent conversationalist and we heard a lot of information about Mongolia. After the park, we had a bite to eat with local cuisine and went to the statue of Genghis Khan. In the evening we reached the yurt. All evening spent at wonderful food, talking with family. Early in the morning we were taken to the airport for an early flight. Everything is very accurate and fast. We highly recommend it.

It was consistent with the description of the accommodation on the spot, and it was also close to the bus stop, so it was convenient to move around the city. The accommodation itself was not that big, but it was large enough for two people to stay, well-managed, and there was no fear of losing the key with the door lock system. Also, the best part was that the boss was very kind, responded quickly to inquiries, and cared about customers.

Clean and cozy apartment in a great location - communication was easy. Would stay again!

I have stayed for 10 nights, everything was fine, in walking distance state department store with huge supermarket.

Staying at Dayar's place was perfect - peaceful neighborhood, close located mall, amazing view from the windows! Even there was some troubles with locked door by my fault so Dayar responded and managed it incredibly fast👍Gonna suggest this place to each my friends visiting Ulaanbaatar

Had few days to relax there. It suited the purpose very well. I liked the clean kitchen and bathroom.

Visiting family in the city. This home was in the perfect, walkable location! Just across the street from the State Dept Store and so close to many restaurants, museums and theaters. 2nd floor apartment. As with most apartments in the area; washer, no dryer. Convenient drying wrack hangs above the tub. Kitchen has all you need for cooking small meals. New rice cooker and full size fridge. Bedroom had loads of shelves in the cabinets to unpack your items. We really felt comfortable here for 10 days.
