Absolutely beautiful house with the most amazing garden. It had everything you could need, especially for the kids with the outdoor play area and hidden playroom. Ali was a great host, super responsive and very welcoming. We will definitely be visiting again!

As a family of 4 including two tweens needing to get off their gadgets, we have LOVED this stay. The views and comfort of the house are phenomenal. As well as sightseeing, we made time just to chill at the house and enjoy time at the reservoir away from it all. This was made possible because the hosts have literally thought of everything and the layout of the house is brilliant for socialising together. The bedrooms are super comfy, the kitchen has everything and there are some nice perks like the log fire, underfloor heating and unbeatable views that just make the house so enjoyable to be in. We took mountain bikes and glad we did, there are endless well kept trails for walking and cycling right from the door and a great park for kids within a healthy walking distance. Communication and information provided were fab, and we will go back for sure!

A lovely stay! Very comfortable, clean and welcoming caravan. Well equipped - esp for children with potty, steps in bathrooms and many games which we played in the evenings. Comfortable beds and quality bedding and towels. Ample space to sit on the decking or the cosy back garden if weather is good. Karen always responded within 5 mins to any questions we had - though we didn't need to ask for anything as it was all provided. We were pleased to be in a quiet spot on the site as we were not really interested in the entertainment block - not our thing and quite busy. However, it is just a short walk to a lovely, peaceful beach with rockpools to explore after a tasty ice cream from Crosswell Ices. Only 35 mins drive to beautiful Alnwick Castle and Gardens so we had a day in each of these. NB We planned to eat in the walkable Greek restaurant but person at Drift Cafe said it had closed down "for the foreseeable future" so we drove to Widdrington Inn for a lovely meal (book first).

We had a lovely stay this weekend! Pauline and bill couldn’t have been more helpful if they tried and they are so friendly. So are the two little doggies who made friends with our dog and joined us for walks around the huge field just outside the hut. Pauline and bill really care about how they do and that’s guests are happy and it shows. Beautiful scenery. Spotless accommodation! Fresh clean towels and toiletries. We were only about 10-15 minutes away from home but it really didn’t feel like it at all it’s out the way and private and surrounded by the most beautiful nature! Again a 10/10 stay and we will 10000% be back😊

Property was exactly what we were looking for, felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door. Neutral decor and comfortable furnishing. We had an issue with the boiler one day, but with prompt communication this was sorted asap. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Thank you

We had a great stay at Jay's place. The house had everything we needed in terms of amenities, and was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Jaya was very responsive and attended to all our needs. Anyway, only regret was that we only stayed one night ! Hope to come again to Jaya's place for our next visit in Newcastle !

Allaoua was very nice and easy to contact and would respond promptly to any questions we had. He went over everything when we got there and it was great for our family of 8. We even hosted a family of 5 for dinner one night and there was plenty of space for all 13 of us! Highly recommend! Lots of nearby restaurants/grocery store/beach!
