Nice location, comfortable home, and host was accommodating.

We enjoyed our stay in the House of Ashley Historic Home. It was well worth the cost; much better than a hotel room. It was clean, comfortable, and just the right size for our needs. We were able to come and go as we pleased. Although it is a part of the hosts' home, it has a completely separate entrance. The host responded nearly immediately to questions/needs that came up during our stay. It was delightful. The only thing missing was a history about the house itself. Would highly recommend to anyone needing lodging in the area.

Home Sweet Home. We stayed for TWENTY nights and the house was perfect! The house was well equipped with a modern kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds, squeaky clean everywhere and a spacious private office where I worked every day!! Jay responded quickly when I had a question and the house manual had helpful hints, restaurant suggestions and more. You will love this place if you are looking for peace and quiet, a comfortable home and lost of space to prepare and enjoy a family dinner or game night!

we absolutely loved staying here! the house was clean and comfortable! Kelli added personal touches we loved and appreciated! she was quick to respond and offered suggestions on places to go. our dog loved the toys left for her, maybe a little too much! we were nervous about neighbors being so close but once we got there we never even saw them. overall a beautiful place to stay that we really hope to return to in the fall as the leaves change colors, the view would be even more amazing!

If you're thinking about booking here, DO IT! Edie and John's, place is beautiful and very spacious. We unfortunately didn't get to use the hot tub during our stay, but the back yard and patio area looked so pretty and serene. Edie left out a very nice continental breakfast spread for us in the morning which included things like fresh berries, apples, pound cake, OJ and coffee. The rooms were VERY clean and comfortable and had everything you'd need for a stay. The distance to WVU/Morgantown was only about a 20 minute drive as well. Although John was away when we stayed, Edie was there and was readily available if we needed anything, either by phone or in person. She's a great hostess and was very nice to have a conversation with. Definitely recommend their place if you are wanting to stay close to the Morgantown area. Thank you for our stay Edie, we hope to come back and visit someday!

Great location! We had a wonderful girls weekend away at Erik’s lake house. Beautiful view and there’s even a restaurant on the water behind the house. Very quiet neighborhood. We loved spending the evenings in the hot tub. Location was great. Close to shopping, restaurants and trails.

Very nice spot. Private, clean, close to everything in town, and generous amenities. I’d stay here again!

Robert was an excellent host!! We ended getting snowed in an extra day and he went above and beyond to make sure we had enough food and supplies. Robert even came and shoveled our walkway and brushed off my car. His place was beautiful and we had a great time. I definitely recommend staying with Robert!!
