Alcamo Marina ist ein Strandort, weshalb man direkt am Strand wohnt, was toll ist, aber um wirklich gut einkaufen zu gehen braucht man auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Ein nettes Café ist einige Häuser weiter. Die Lage ist gut, um mit dem Auto viele tolle Orte und Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen zu können (besonders empfehlenswert ist das Naturschutzgebiet mit Wanderweg und Badebuchten) Die Straße vor dem Haus ist manchmal laut, wenn einzelne Autos/Motorräder entlang rasen. Dies ist aber kein Dauerzustand, also nur ab und an. Die Wohnung ist groß, sauber und hat eine tolle Terrasse. Die Betten sind gut. Die Ausstattung ist gut, in der Küche fehlen allerdings große Schneidemesser zum Kochen. Die Kommunikation mit Stefano war sehr freundlich und er hat immer sofort geantwortet. Das check-out war total unkompliziert (Schlüssel in Wohnung lassen). Beim Ankommen lag eine sizilianische Süßigkeit als Begrüßung da. Sehr nett! Wir würden die Wohnung auf jeden Fall wieder mieten.

I wish I could give 10 ⭐️! Lory was exceptional! She picked us up at the bus stop in Palermo and brought us to the house. She lives in another unit so she was always available for questions and just to say hello. The home was perfect for us and our little dog. Lory gave us recommendations for shopping and restaurants. I wanted to buy special Sicilian pasta to bring home and Lory actually went out and bought it for me. She obviously takes pride in her work and home. We would stay there again when we come to Mondello. I highly recommend this home and location. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Palermo. Das besondere war zweifelsohne die sehr gute Anbindung an die Via vittorio Emanuele. Über diese Hauptstraße erstrahlt Palermo mit den schönsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Anfangen vom Normannen-Palast, der Kathedrale von Palermo bis hin zum wunderschönen Hafen in einem Radius von ca. 1,5-2km. Besonders können wir die arabisch-normannische Route empfehlen, die uns Marina freundlicherweise angeraten hat. Zu Marina noch ein paar Worte: Marina ist sehr freundlich, herzlich und insgesamt eine tolle Gastgeberin. Uns hat an nichts gefehlt! Einziges Manko: Wir hatten zu Beginn etwas Schwierigkeiten die Unterkunft zu finden, da die Unterkunft nicht am Anfang der Straße ist - so wie die Navigation es angezeigt hat - sondern weiter hinten. If you’re looking for a modern home, this isn’t the place for you. If you’re looking for a mansion by the sea with classic old Italian style and an unbeatable location, this is the place for you. Giovanni even hooked us up with a private chef to come to the house for one night of our trip. There’s a coffee shop, restaurant and pharmacy all within a block. This house is perfect for a large group and Giovanni has excellent communication. Thanks for hosting us Giovanni! We had a wonderful time!

Das Zimmer befindet sich in einem von innen wunderschönen und ganz besonderen Haus, welches sehr viel Charme hat. Alles war sauber und die Kommunikation mit Sven war zuverlässig und nett. Wir haben zwei Nächte in der Unterkunft verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die direkte Nachbarschaft ist zwar nicht wunderschön, jedoch liegt das Haus direkt in der Altstadt und ist somit super gelegen und angebunden. Ich würde die Wohnung sofort wieder buchen.

We had the best time here - Maurilio was so accommodating + friendly. He gave us great recommendations. About a 20minute walk to mondello beach, and about 20minutes in a taxi to Palermo centre - really easy to navigate. Villa was gorgeous - outdoor area was amazing with big pool, outdoor kitchen + dining area. Comfy beds, great shower! would recommend the villa to anyone. Thank you so much Maurilio!!

Bendetto and his family showed us real Sicilian hospitality! Amazing host and very helpful . The place is located in walking distance to the beach. The apartment is very spacious and everything needed is provided. We had a great time !

We really enjoyed our stay in Guiseppe's house. It was full of character and has a very nice garden in backyard with different fruit trees. The flat even had two bathrooms. Guiseppe has been a great host. He provide us with plenty of information and recommendations and has been been very helpful with everything we needed (even finding a doctor). Sferracavallo has its local charm and is easily reachable by train from the airport and Palermo. We found everything we needed there, shops, a local market and nice restaurants. We really hope to come back one day :)

Brilliant place to stay with fantastic, kind host. Lots of garden space and huge pool. Host was so helpful and relaxed helping us out all the time. Lyra the dog was so fun and friendly. Kids loved playing with her. Short drive from loads of beaches, restaurants etc. highly recommend!

Great location with a beautiful seaview. Nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need. Very friendly host who was always available when I had a question.

We hadden een geweldig verblijf bij Antonio. Het terras is super! Het uitzicht is fantastisch! Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig, het is niet supermodern, maar wel heel charmant. Antonio en zijn zus zijn snel bereikbaar en staan open voor info. Ik moest door familiale redenen onverwacht vroeger naar huis, maar het werd prima geregeld door Antonio. Duidelijk en heel correcte afhandeling. We hebben erg genoten! Groetjes Kristien en familie

We stayed as a group of 9 during the winter months. The Villa was beautiful, and overlooked the ocean (from a distance). It was peaceful and serene. Paolo kindly offered us access to his orange and lemon trees, which were amazing! He was a helpful host, helping order us pizza our first night when everything seemed closed. The large dining table and kitchen at the back of the house was perfect for family dinners. We used the outdoor BBQ (propane) and the indoor stove/top range - all worked well. We also used the fire pit and Paolo was kind enough to give us some firewood. The house is about ~20 minutes from Palermo by car, which you definitely need in order to stay here. If you don't feel like cooking, try Bragone restaurant (15 mins). Incredible pizza/pasta in the countryside. We stayed during a cold spell, so while there were lots of heat and heaters available, we were chilly at times because we had to balance the electric load just right to keep things running smoothly.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Lucia. Everything was perfect other than we wished we could have stayed longer. The view was spectacular and the Villa itself met all of our needs. The small house in the back was perfect for our daughter and her boyfriend. We also had a blast making pizzas using the pizza oven on site. We look forward to coming back.

Giacoma & Carlo were both helpful and communicative. We were welcomed in person and were pleased with the basketful of essentials that had been left for us. We were all sad to have to leave after an all-too-short week at their lovely villa!

Beautiful, comfortable modern accomodation

Wonderful villa, beautiful indoors and outdoors, nicely furnished, equipped with everything you could need, super clean, spacious and peaceful. Good size swimming pool with comfortable sun loungers to hang out and watch the beautiful mountains. Loved the outdoor kitchen with good size bbq. Great base to explore the northwest and west of Sicily. Castellammare del Golfo has many great restaurants (don’t mis La Tonnara) and is a beautiful town. We also loved our hike in Monte Cofano. Communication with Nicole was excellent, pro-active, friendly and fast responding throughout our stay. Extremely good value for money, we stayed in more expensive places in Sicily that were nowhere near as nice. We would certainly come back

Fiorella warmly greeted us and showed us the space. The space itself was incredible - 3 private terraces! In a great location in downtown Palermo. It is a charming old building which means heat only in bed rooms and some quirky electrical things which was not a problem for us at all. We hope to come again!!!

Alles ausgezeichnet! Emanuele kümmerte sich ganz toll um uns und warnte uns sogar vor dem heimtückischen Meer. Die Dachwohnung ist super und genau wie dargestellt. Einzig beim Pricing sollte besser alles eingepreist sein. Es war eine Überraschung für Bettwäsche/Frottee separat zu zahlen. Ich würde stets alles einpreisen und dafür mit Wochen-Rabatten arbeiten. So ist klar kurz = teurer (legitim). Das ausgebessert, kann es nicht besser sein.

Wir haben eine Woche im tollen Ferienhaus verbracht. Schöner Garten und alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Wir bekamen extra Spielzeug und einen kleinen Fuhrpark für die Kinder zur Verfügung gestellt. Außerhalb der Saison war es sehr ruhig dort, über die Klimaanlage konnten wir in den kühlen Nächten heizen. Ohne Auto kommt man aber nicht weit, das sollte man wissen. Und um zum Haus zu kommen muss man auf den letzten paar hundert Metern einige Schlaglöcher überwinden. Maria Elena hat sich gut um uns gekümmert und immer schnell reagiert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Le logement de Gabriele est très agréable, très propre, décoré avec soin, avec beaucoup d'ustensiles. Il y a beaucoup plus de choses que cités dans l'annonce, c'était une agréable surprise. Nous n'avons manqué de rien. Gabriel est très disponible et répond très vite aux éventuelles questions. Nous sommes vraiment ravis de notre séjour chez Gabriele.

Hi Luisa. Thank you for the stay. Lovely to meet Father Dino, Maggie, and Schallaci grocer! I second a reviewer, Luisa's home one of the best on Air BnB! Home is tucked away, just behind piazza. Comfortable, amenities simple, books to read and wondeful terrace patio. Great shower! Stayed for December and weather was beautiful. Walking to piazza and churches and movie theater! Taking the 806 bus easy ride into Palermo center, and from there walking the city. Convenient to train to airport and Cefalu. 🤗

Very nice and clean house to enjoy your vacation! Kitchen has all that is needed, lots of space everywhere, beds were comfortable and garden and outdoor furniture was very nice as well! We could not enjoy the pool (too early spring), but it was prepared and cleaned for us. We were taken care by Saby, who is “fast as wind” to solve each small problem or queation we had- we are so grateful to her! She recommended many good places to visit and have dinner as well, so we felt very welcome!

Het verblijf in het appartement van Claudio en Giuliana was geweldig. Het huis is in een rustig straatje, maar vlakbij de levendigheid van Piazza Magione en bijna alles is op loopafstand. Het heeft de luxe van een prachtig dakterras, en een buitenkeuken! Er zijn twee prima slaapkamers en de woonkamer is klein maar fijn. Het is fijn dat er verschillende mogelijkheden zijn in het huis: de woonkamer is koel en donker voor op warme dagen, en het dakterras is heerlijk voor als de zon niet te heet is. Kortom: een aanrader!

Abbiamo trascorso 5 piacevoli giorni presso la Villa di Fabrizio e Lavinia. Le comunicazioni sono state sempre precise e tempestive. La struttura ricorda una piccola villa hollywoodiana trapiantata in Sicilia. Progettata e arredata con gusto, la villa e soprattutto la sua piscina permettono di godersi un soggiorno di relax in riservatezza. I due padroni di casa vivono nel piano seminterrato e sono spesso assenti durante il giorno per lavoro. La villa convive fisiologicamente con la piccola fauna della campagna siciliana, ad esempio coi simpatici gechi che entrano la sera a curiosare. Consigliata a chi desidera rilassarsi in un ambiente ampio, pulito, tranquillo, immerso nella natura che sa essere persino sontuoso in alcuni suoi dettagli.
