Great place! Not directly in the water but just a short walk to the bayou at the back of the property! Great trees and serene surroundings. The cottage is very roomy, and Phil is great!

The home is beautiful and so peaceful. Everything that you need is there except your food . But we found a place not far off for some grilled fish and shrimp it was good . I loved the Deck on the back of the house the best place to watch the sun come up while having coffee . The house is very spacious And had plenty of room for our party of 10.

We had such a relaxing peaceful time. The kids done some fishing while I sipped my coffee from the balcony. Me and my daughter done some baking and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable. The sitting area on the bottom area had plenty of room for the whole family. We had a great time and if we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay here again.

The Perch was in a picturesque setting. The home was very clean. Complementary coffee, shampoo, conditioner, kitchen supplies, snacks and laundry soap! The couple next door was very friendly and kept to themselves. Our boys enjoyed fishing, even though they didn't catch anything. The adults enjoyed the sights and sounds of the backyard and lake. And the dogs felt right at home, their crates fit in the spacious laundry room. It was the perfect home base for our Duck Commander tour and Duck Dynasty sight seeing trip. Lots of other things to do unrelated to our reason for visiting. Wish we had more time to explore all the other recommended activities! Very enjoyable stay, we would recommend The Perch, and we would stay there again if in the area.

I would just like to say if you are looking for a peaceful get away on the lake, this is definitely the place to stay! Plenty of amenities, nice rooms, nice dock, all of it. The hosts were quick with the responses and very friendly people. They also had great recommendations for food!!

I felt welcome in the home. My son absolutely loved fishing out back. The host had Jenga and that was big hit during the rain and hot parts of the day. Kitchen and accessories was very nice. My son is already wanting to go back

We traveled for a volleyball tournament and it was our first time at Monroe. The home felt at home for all of our guests and we took away many great memories of our trip together. We appreciate all the fast communication and support during our stay. We had a guest leave behind a jersey and they were so helpful in finding it and mailing it back home for us. We hope others who get to stay here have the same experience. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
