very peaceful location and space was large enough to accommodate everyone in our group. The house decor was beautiful. We definitely enjoyed our time there.

Amazing place. Clean and cozy, just like the pictures. The location was perfect for peace and quiet, with a pond up the hill. We fished multiple days catching bluegill and largemouth bass. We truly enjoyed ourselves and felt right at home. The cabin was secure and enough secluded, but not too far off the path to downtown Nashville. I would LOVE to come back!

This was our second stay at The Hideaway, and it was just as lovely as the first! Gerri’s attention to detail makes it feel like home. She provides a fantastic variety of coffee options, from a traditional coffee pot to multiple K-cups. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, and the bathroom is stocked with essentials like a hair dryer, shampoo, plenty of towels, and even a separate door for privacy between the shower/toilet and sink area. The beds are incredibly comfortable, including the Murphy bed in the living room. The living room itself is cozy and well-furnished, with reclining sofas and an amazing massage chair. As someone who grew up in Brown County, this place brings back the comforts of home. It’s also in a perfect location, very private, but close to all the shopping and attractions in Nashville. I couldn’t recommend The Hideaway more!

Beautiful place. Enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay,the location is peaceful and full of charm. Right by the river with beautiful landscaping,colorful flowers blooming and sparkling geodes throught the yard. Loved watching the deer stroll by and watching the birds each morning eat. The tree swing was such a fun bonus-I had to give it a try. The cabin was clean,comfy and had everything we needed. This getaway was exactly what we were hoping for. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We were a group of 4 old friends and our younger kids. Everything about this place was perfect for our get away. There are essentially two sides of the house with 2 kitchens. So when some of the kids wanted to be wild, the others could retreat to the other side of the house for more peace and quiet. The hot tub was amazing for everyone. The swing is all it's cracked up to be - a must try. We LOVED the beds - I am very particular with beds and these were wonderful. They are not too firm, but firm enough with what felt like a bamboo foam topper - perfect. Kitchens were perfectly stocked with all the supplies we needed. This really is the best place to go if you want to unwind and relax with friends and family. Remote enough to feel like an escape, but not too far removed that it's hard to find. The only thing we regret is not staying longer! We will definitely be back. Thank you Ken!!

Alexis was an amazing host! She thought of everything to make this a wonderful place to stay for a group of moms visiting their sons at IU for a “mom’s weekend” . Alexis’ home is charming and filled with a lot of wonderful small details. The beds were comfortable and there were nice spaces for the group to hang out. It was easy to make yourself at home with all of Alexis’ added touches. The house was clean and cheery. Would definitely stay again!

Such a lovely, peaceful, gem of a getaway spot. We visited several years ago and stayed in another suite, which was just as lovely. But the treetop was astoundingly beautiful. The small details like the local art, lovely plants, and comfortable linens just added to the atmosphere. My only regret is that we didn’t book it for more than one night! We can’t wait to return.

It is abundantly clear why this place has such a high rating! It is the definition of cozy in every single room - you will instantly feel right at home. The area has tons to do and see, and Melanie even escorted us out when some of the local roads were flooded after heavy rainfall. Can’t wait to return!
