This was by far the most enchanting Airbnb I've ever stayed in. This charming property at Mira D'ouro truly exceeded my expectations. It wasn't just a place to stay, it was an unforgettable experience. The team went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and well-being, making me feel right at home. The location is unbeatable, situated directly on the South Atlantic coast. Drifting off to sleep each night with the soothing sound of crashing waves was pure magic. The surrounding community is peaceful and friendly, offering a taste of local life amidst lush greenery. Everything about the listing was exactly as described, making for a seamless and enjoyable stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this haven to anyone seeking a magical escape in São Tomé & Principe. I will definitely be back 🩵

Probablement un des meilleurs logements, si ce n'est le meilleur de notre voyage de 20 jours à Sao Tome et Principe. N'hésitez surtout pas à prendre le souper, très bien cuisiné, spécialités locales excellentes et préparés avec soins et " sans risques pour nos estomacs de voyageurs "pour les voyageurs :) A proximité pour visiter la capitale et les alentours ainsi que pour visiter le Nord de l'île. Internet pas évident sur place, mais il y a un magasin dans le village pour vous procurer une carte sim avec des données pour pas chère et très facilement, et ça va vous rendre le plus grand service durant votre voyage pour faire des recherches, pour le gps ou pour de la traduction ! Merci beaucoup !

A beautiful place in stunning surroundings with a gracious host. We spend the last days of our trip here and found it incredibly relaxing. Maria cooked an amazing local meal for us and was helpful to make our stay as comfortable as possible. If you want to enjoy some cool highland vibes with all the conveniences imaginable, this is the place to come to.

I can highly recommend going to this place, it was beautiful, very special, especially the private beach. You definitely feel very remote here. Just be aware that the road to this location is partly really bad. So even with a 4x4 car, you have to drive slowly and carefully, and the last 10k are especially bad. So, if you plan to go to this place, stay at least 2 nights, or even better, many more, so the drive is worth it!

The room was comfortable, the breakfast super tasty and with plenty of food. The hospitality of the workers is just great: we were offered a mini-tour with the explanation on local coffee and cacau production. The local coffee is very tasty, do buy the cacau snack and biscuit to enrich your stay!

Bernilda's place is a great value for money option in São Tomé. The location feels safe and is conveniently walkable to the center. Although the room I initially booked was under renovation, the replacement room worked perfectly—spacious, well-lit, with a working fan. The shared bathroom had good water pressure and offered hot water, making it very comfortable to use. Bernilda speaks English fluently and is happy to provide helpful recommendations for restaurants and activities, while her staff on-site are friendly and available to assist as needed. The Wi-Fi was sufficient for casual browsing, though it might be a bit slow if you need a strong connection for work. Bernilda also offers convenient airport pick-up and drop-off services for €10, which is a nice touch. If sharing the ride with others, it’s a good idea to confirm with the driver in advance whether the price can be adjusted. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would highly recommend Bernilda's place!
