Lisa’s place was one of our favorite Airbnbs that we’ve ever stayed at and wished we didn’t have to check out when we had to leave. The space was clean and comfortable. Everything was amazing!

Pamela’s rental is what all Airbnbs aspire to. The space exceeds all pictures and tells 1,000 stories with the unique collection of books and curated art. The soft linens, opulent bathroom, and enchanting fireplace will all spoil you! Pamela communicated well before and during our stay - even a welcome hug upon arrival. We have found our go to place while visiting the central coast.

James's place was as described--it's a basement-level apartment. It's on a cul-de-sac on a quiet street in a lovely neighborhood with some stately redwood trees in the yard. Parking was easy. The location was very convenient to Mountain View and Sunnyvale. The apartment was clean and equipped with the basics. WiFi was good. Having laundry in-unit was very helpful. Check-in was easy, and the directions for locating the place were clear. Yes, as described, the ceilings are low (6' 6" or so), and there are a couple of thresholds that are, I'd say, 6' 0" (I'm 6' 1" and couldn't stand under them fully), but I knew to expect that. It does mean the shower head is also pretty low, but, again, I expected that. The people upstairs can be heard moving about, but it wasn't enough to be majorly noticeable. Overall, a nice place to stay and a good value in an area where lodging is very expensive.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The suite is cozy, impeccably clean, and filled with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The peaceful setting, nestled among the trees, offers the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful Carmel area. We especially love the little details that Steve and Wendy provide—they truly go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a great experience. Returning for a second year felt like coming home, and we already know we’ll be back again. Thank you, Steve and Wendy, for another unforgettable stay! If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy, and well-appointed place in Carmel, this is the one!

We had a great stay at this property. Everything was exactly as described. Communication during booking was quick and accurate. We would definitely stay here again. It was great being centrally located right within Carmel so it was quick and easy to get everywhere we wanted to go.

Wendy said her place would be quiet and peaceful.... and it sure was! I had a wonderful night's sleep after a long day of driving. A great night's rest in a very clean and well appointed room. The check-in process was very simple. I arrived in the dark and she was very kind to have the inside light on for me. Finding the apartment was also very easy in the dark due to a very well-lit pathway and clear instructions. If I am ever in the area again I will for sure book Wendy's room.

Highly recommend Emily’s AirBnb. The description and photos from the listing are accurate. It was very clean, bed was comfortable, shower was great, spacious walk-in closet, Wi-Fi was reliable. Emily and her co-hosts were very kind and answered all of my messages promptly. When I needed help with something, they responded and assisted quickly. I had a great experience here and would definitely stay here again.

The suite is located in an amazing house. Self check-in was easy and there is so much space in the house. Everything was super clean and tidy. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious and clean too. Amazing views into the valley and hills from the house. Communication with Daniel was great and nothing to complain about. We would recommend this AirBnB a 100%. we would definitely come back here if we are nearby again.

We enjoyed our stay in Barbara's place. The place was as described, perfect size for two adults, the location worked great for us, quick drive to Carmel for food and entertainment, but far enough for some quiet and rest. There is some street traffic, but we were not bothered by it like some reviews say, maybe we just were worn out from hiking in Big Sur which is some 20-30 min drive from Barbara's place. Nice touches were complimentary snacks and drinks, and the place was clean and supplied with anything that we needed during our stay. Refuge is 2min drive, 20min walk from the place, definitely worth checking out. We would definitely go back.

Svetlana‘s place was so comfortable, well appointed and in a breathtaking location.

Loan and her family were extremely welcoming. communication was on point. Our stay was so comfortable, it felt right at home. very clean and big kitchen we used to cook breakfast every morning. There is ample street parking and very quiet neighborhood. I would stay again in the future for my next visit to San Jose.

We loved our stay here! Safe neighborhood, lots of restaurants around within walking distance. The place itself was very nice, clean, and the bed so comfortable! Check in was easy and instructions clear. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Santa Clara area 🙂

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location was incredibly convenient, and the space was well-equipped with plenty of amenities. It was also a great spot for working remotely, with a comfortable setup and a quiet environment. The hosts were amazing—clear with instructions, quick to respond, and always willing to accommodate any needs promptly. We had a comfortable stay at Jing’s. It’s in a quiet and safe neighborhood, easily accessible to the suburban areas of San Jose and other parts of the Bay Area. Plenty of good choices to casual eateries. Jing’s place was always a respite to come back to at the end of the day’s outing.

Would recommend to anyone/everyone! Lots of room and located in a beautiful area! Host was very nice and flexible with check out time which I really appreciated! Would select this Airbnb if traveling to San Jose again!

Very affordable option with a rental car for a conference in San Jose. Highly recommend!
