Excellent host. Was very accommodating and responsive. There was a binder of local restaurants and wineries that she also put her reviews on. This was very helpful in planning out our stay. The property is beautiful. The apartment was cozy. We’ll stay here again for sure next time we’re in the area.

I felt right at home at Russell’s place. The apartment is super spacious and cozy. The location is nice and quiet—perfect for exploring Carmel-by-the-Sea walking around. I took a trip to Big Sur from there, and it was awesome coming back to such a comfy spot after a day out. I’d totally recommend Russell’s place to anyone!

The apartment is quiet, clean, and cozy. Perfect for a couples getaway. We also loved how the property is conveniently nearby all the sights! We came to Seaside to visit Carmel, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Old Fisherman’s Wharf, and Pebble Beach.

This was a lovely getaway for our kids’ spring break. The view was wonderful and you can’t beat the location. 10/10!

The view is amazing! You can see the forest and the hills. Big open windows that let lots of natural light in. There’s also a large wooden porch. A great place to relax in the morning. It feels private since it backs up to the woods. You can get anywhere on the Monterey Peninsula in about 10 minutes. Easy access to Big Sur as well. Some people have commented about low ceilings, but I’m 6’3’’ and never noticed the ceilings at all.

Great hosts, great location. I will definitely stay here again when in Monterey.

I had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly like the photos, very clean, well-maintained, and beautifully set up. I was especially impressed with the amenities provided, which made everything feel so convenient and comfortable. It was also very quiet, perfect for relaxing. The beds were spotless and super cozy. Highly recommend!

We came to celebrate my husband's birthday and golf at the new San Juan Oaks. The location for golf there or at Ridgemark is very good. We had sushi at the Jaoanese restaurant and it was great. We came during the week when the bar downstairs closes at 10.

The studio is an easy walk to downtown Carmel. Nikki & Jessica are great hosts and have excellent communication. Their place had everything we needed and more; coffee setup is clutch!! I definitely recommended staying at Fancy-Free.

The place and its surroundings are beautiful! It's a perfectly maintained place. It's surrounded by nature and tranquility. If you like the sound of nature, this place is for you. It has everything you need and more. It's very clean, organized, and has very special touches in the decor. We stayed three nights, and they were beautiful nights with the sound of the rain. It has everything you need to cook your own meals. My husband and I cooked our own breakfasts for three days, and we had everything we needed. Thank you Maria😊

Me and my girl couldn’t of asked for a better stay at a location the way we did at Lydia’s place. It was clean, inviting, and very welcoming. She was very informative on how to get to the room and is easy to access at either day or night. We had already brought tons of snacks and waters yet, she already had some snacks and chocolates and waters on queue 😮‍💨 It was very intimate and it made what I thought to be a great vacation into one of the best of experiences of my life due to the peaceful atmosphere and personal freedom of the property when inside it and coming home to it. Her communication was top notch and kept you up to date on any current situations of the property which was a huge plus 😊 If I’m ever in the area again, I know who’s my go to without a doubt and i strongly urge those who need the perfect area to do EVERYTHING to book this out for a week or weekend. Can't wait to be back at this amazing stay again! The accommodation was exactly as shown in the pictures and the view of the beach was just great. It was peaceful and felt very secure. The rooms were spotless and the kitchen and bathrooms had all the required commodities. The house felt cozy and the decorations added to the comfortable atmosphere. Overall, this accommodation made our holiday perfect!!

Beautiful home, very clean and very organized. Michele is very friendly and responsive and was always there if we had any questions. She also offered extensive food and activity recommendations. The outside of the house is gorgeous and the hot tub was clean and warm at all times with gorgeous views of the trees/forest. We loved our time at her house and hope to come again in the future!! Highly recommend!

The pictures you see are exactly what you get! It was nice being able to walk to the beach after breakfast and enjoy bonfires after dinner! The place has a full kitchen and was clean. We visited Carmel by the Sea and Monterey. We definitely enjoyed our time. 🙂
