Excelente lugar para pasar en familia, el lugar es precioso, justo como se ve en las fotos, súper tranquilo y seguro, definitivamente volveríamos! La piscina deliciosa y topamos con la suerte de ver el volcán despejado en la mañana!

I came to Costa Rica with my mom and boyfriend and we all loved this place. Fresh eggs were provided in a basket which was delicious for breakfast. The Airbnb was close to a lot of the activities we planned such as white water rafting, night walk, and not too far from restaurants. The actual property is really peaceful and relaxing. It’s private and secure with a gate. Max, her brother, lives on the property and helped us to check in very easily. I would absolutely recommend this Airbnb or stay here again!! Pura vida!

La vue était magnifique ainsi que l'espace extérieure. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir avec nos amis et nos 6 enfants! La maison est propre et la piscine est un beau must! Oscar a bien envoyé les instructions les jours précédents, mais difficile à rejoindre avant cela. Par contre, il nous a bien accueilli et a été super gentil!

Joli logement, situé en retrait de la ville dans un secteur tranquille et sécurisé. Installations bien entretenues. Équipement minimal pour la cuisinette, mais la cuisine commune possède tout ce dont vous avez besoin. La mezzanine convient surtout à des enfants vu la hauteur du plafond. Communication avec l’hôte irréprochable. En prime : un papayer à l’entrée de la cour dans lequel nous avons observé des toucans! Je recommande.

This place is so beautiful...and Jason has newly renovated it, so it's now a true two bedroom listing with doors on both bedrooms! It was perfect for two couples traveling together. The master bedroom is a show stopper and the second bedroom is lovely too. The shared indoor space is nicely designed, the kitchen is fine (not a gourmet kitchen by any means, but enough to make the basics). And the outdoor area is like having your own private resort. A beautiful pool, a giant hot tub, multiple seating areas, all in lovely landscaping filled with flowers and birds. We were so sad to leave. La Fortuna has lots of wonderful restaurants and activities. The perfect place to stay.

We loved our short (one night) stay. We were staying in another part of the country but wanted a couple of days in La Fortuna. We booked last minute and it was great! Check in was easy, the space was clean, and the location was perfect.

Ce logement est vraiment très sympa et parfait pour 2 personnes. Très propre et bien équipé et au calme. Vous serez à 20min en voiture du centre de Santa Elena. Keylin est adorable. Elle nous a arrangés sur pas mal de choses. Nous avons eu droit à des fruits frais à l’arrivée aussi et une bouteille de vin. Elle nous a proposé des fruits à nouveau pour notre excursion à la réserve de Monteverde. Elle est proactive et vraiment, nous avons rarement eu une hôte aussi gentille. Merci pour tout !

The host was extremely responsive. He answered all questions quickly. He came over whenever we needed something. The location is very private. We saw Agoutis and Coatis every day, it was like your own animal show in the back yard. We did find a scorpion in the house but that’s expected when living in the jungle. There is access to private hiking trails, a good workout for those looking for a little exercise. The house was very spacious and had the minimum items we needed. The beds were comfortable. No AC or heat needed as the temperatures are always perfect.

Gloriana was terrific. She was gracious, a great communicator and a helpful guide in our search for restaurants to accommodate some dietary restrictions. The rustic house was a great place for our family to call home while exploring Monteverde. Gloriana and her family offer a walking tour of their organic coffee farm. Their passion and knowledge made our stay, and our tour most enjoyable and highly informative Lovely!

Eva's place was incredibly peaceful and private with a beautiful, well tended garden out back. With the windows open, you don't feel the need for AC at all (it was very cool during our stay in early March.) The windows do not have any screens, which created a few humorous encounters with critters, but we had a great time. It is also a tricky/steep drive along rocky mountain roads to most places, but this seemed to be the case for everywhere here (except maybe in Santa Elena itself.) We had a great time and Eva was a great host.

This is a fantastic Airbnb! Looks exactly like the pictures, and the main area feels even bigger in person. The location is PERFECT; very close walking to plant restaurants and scenic viewpoints, but still feels quiet and peaceful. We both worked from home our whole week and the wifi was great. Warm shower, great laundry machine, very clean and spacious. Highly recommend!

FRANÇAIS : Le logement d’Evelyn était fidèle aux photos : propre, spacieux et plein de charme. La salle de bain, immense, vaut à elle seule le détour. La cuisine, conviviale et bien équipée, est parfaite pour partager de bons repas entre amis ou en famille. L’emplacement est idéal, à proximité du centre-ville de Monteverde, dans une région magnifique. Je recommande ce logement à 100 % et y retournerais avec plaisir ! ENGLISH : Evelyn’s house matched the photos perfectly: clean, spacious, and full of charm. The huge bathroom alone is worth the stay. The kitchen is welcoming and well-equipped, perfect for sharing great meals with friends or family. The location is ideal, close to downtown Monteverde, in a stunning region. I highly recommend this place and would gladly stay there again!

A beautiful mountain cabin minutes away from the centre of Monteverde 🙌🏾 We would definitely visit again it was one our favourite stays whilst in Costa Rica. And you can even spot some wildlife from the many windows! The hosts were very accommodating and responsive and even let us check in early! Also really helpful with any questions. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

The stay in Casa Alquimia was very comfortable and enjoyable. The house is very spaceous, we were a group of 6 and each of us had their private bedroom with queen bad and bathroom! The kitchen is big and we'll equipped. The living room is big and we hung out there a lot, next to the Christmas tree! The house is situated in a peaceful place surrounded by nature. From the terrace we saw a lot of animals: tucanet, quetzal, agouti and other birds. Compared to seeing no animals on our 3hour hike in Santa Elena.. We thank the hosts again for letting us stay in their lovely home.

The place was perfect for our family of 5. Easy to find and backed up to the nature preserve so it was very convenient to do the night hike when we arrived. The place was clean and as described. There was hot water and plenty open windows with screens to let the air in the keep the temp nice. Washer/dryer was a nice feature that I didn’t find at many places I looked at.

La Casita, rodeada de naturaleza y tranquilidad, fue un lugar muy acogedor lleno de todo lo que uno puede necesitar en un viaje. Sus anfitriones, Gustavo y Viviana, fueron súper amables y nos ayudaron con todo lo que necesitábamos. De verdad nos proporcionaron la experiencia perfecta en Monteverde.

Very clean. There is a bakery a cross the street otherwise, close by car to grocery store, close enough by car to center Santa-Elena. A lots of circulation in front of the house so a bit noisy but the fan in the room help as a white noise. The bed that we slept in was a bit hard and noisy but not the end of the world. We really like the house and the backyard. And with a real hot shower!!

He was there for us when we were looking for the place and he was so nice and had lots of local knowledge to share.

Had a great stay! Pictures absolutely do not do it justice! Breathtaking view and the home was super clean and comfortable. Also close to town. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if in Costa Rica!

La Casa Monarca est un appartement très confortable. Avec notre fils de 7 ans, ma conjointe et moi avons adoré notre séjour à Santa Elena / Monteverde. Vanessa et sa Casa Monarca y ont grandement contribué. Nous recommandons sans hésitation!

The house is only accessible via a very bumpy road and takes about 20 minutes to reach when in Monteverde. It is beautifully situated by a stream and surrounded by a gorgeous garden with a pool. The interior is very inviting, and we found the house to be impeccably clean. The bed is large and extremely comfortable. The shower is also spacious and has good water pressure. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need, and the internet works perfectly. Andrés and Karin contacted us multiple times to ensure we found the house easily and felt comfortable. They also provided us with several tour suggestions, but we only visited the Bosque Nuboso, as we had already done a lot of hiking and wanted to take a day to relax. Relaxing at this house works perfectly.

Nos hospedamos en Casa Itabo durante el fin de semana y nuestra experiencia fue excelente. La casa es muy linda y amplia, exactamente como se mostraba en las fotos. Su ubicación es ideal, está muy cerca de centros turísticos, restaurantes y supermercados, lo que hizo nuestra estadía aún más conveniente. Además, el ambiente es tranquilo y muy acogedor, perfecto para descansar después de un día explorando la zona. Sin duda, una excelente opción para hospedarse en Monteverde. ¡Totalmente recomendada!
