Loved this place. Lots of critters. Hummingbirds, ducks, rabbits, lizards, dragon flys, butterflies, and more. Beautiful garden on the grounds with places to sit among the trees, flowers, art. Lots of peace and quiet. Our hosts were kind and quick with communication.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. I've stayed at numerous places in Colorado over my lifetime, and this one has to be the best. The location was ideal for us, and the place was fantastic. The views, the huge deck with an amazing hot tub, the spacious living area with enough seating for all 6 of us (and then some), the most amazingly stocked kitchen of any rental - the list goes on and on. The entire host team responded quickly and gave us local recommendations, as well. My father-in-law is already talking about bringing the grandkids next year! My dad told me several times a day what a great find I made. We all loved it so much and can't wait to return! Thanks for a great week!

I really loved my stay! However, there was an issue with my booking (error on their end) and the larger unit wasn't available for my entire stay. I chose to move to a smaller, less expensive cabin because it was available for the entire stay. Unfortunately, Peggy does not want to change my charge to reflect the smaller, less expensive stay. It's a lovely Artist retreat and I wish the best for them.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The setting is beautiful, and the house is comfortably furnished. Our host was very attentive to our questions and requests.

We visited Cortez for a Dark Sky adventure. In addition to visiting the national park/monuments in the area to see the night sky, we were able to enjoy the stars from the dock by the pond. The house is in a beautiful setting, which is very peaceful. The house was very comfortable and had plenty of room for our group of 7 adults. The hosts were very responsive and helpful when we asked for information on the area. The office area had lots of great maps and history information, too!

Merveilleux séjour au camping ! Nous avons apprécié le charme d'être au milieu de nulle part, mais à 20 minutes de Mesa Verde et 10 min de la ville de Cortez. La cuisine est commune, mais est spacieuse et dispose de tout ce qu'il faut ! Je le recommande sans hesiter !

This is a very rustic gem away from everything, I absolutely loved how peaceful and quiet it was and I’ve never seen so many stars at night in my life! Elena was incredibly friendly and the hospitality was phenomenal!

Great location, beautiful grounds would love to stay again

Imagine the perfect cabin: Comfortable, cozy, charming, peaceful, welcoming and beautiful. From the moment we pulled up to a lovely Christmas tree twinkling from the front window, to the breathtaking winter view from the deck, to the flickering fire in the pellet stove, we experienced the perfect Colorado stay. Jarka and Mike have filled the space with thoughtful touches, and made us feel welcome in every way. Don’t overlook this gem for the winter… it was perfection. 🙌 ❤️

Very quiet in a small little camp ground right on the river. Ideal for the locations we wanted to visit right in middle. Would go again

My husband and I had so much fun last year at Amy's place, we had to come back! We love winter activities, so if you are looking for a private little getaway to do some hiking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, or XC skiing, this is the place for you! I also love that this little cabin, although remote, has all the amenities you need to be comfortable just as if you were home. I have a very demanding job which requires me to work even on vacation, so I really appreciated the fast and reliable WiFi so I could check email and stay plugged in. The furnished kitchen came with all the necessary cooking essentials and appliances to make our trip easy. All we had to bring was a cooler of food. The cabin even comes furnished with a TV, washer and dryer, so you can pack light! Amy has always done a great job communicating with us and has been so helpful keeping us apprised of the snow report leading up to our trip. This is a must-visit location! We'll be coming back!

The place was just as described. Great garage conversion into air bnb. The bedrooms were small, but had all the nice touches one would need for a stay. It was a comfortable space with lots of games for the younger kids and older kids. I appreciated that there were also plenty of dishes so that we weren’t constantly having to wash, especially since the dishwasher wasn’t working during our stay and they couldn’t get around to fix it. Overall, a great little place for a quiet stay!

What a fantastic place to stay. We felt right at home and it was so beautiful and peaceful. Stacey was very responsive when we reached out and look forward to staying there again n the future.
