A nice quite retreat like home. Very clean and spacious with a few different ways to enjoy the outdoors from the comforts of the home. This home was very convenient for my family of 5 to stay while our new home was being built, my boys loved the space. Also it was convenient to be able to have private space in the finished basement to work from home. My wife and I are a little jealous that this home isn’t ours!!

Debbie took us in at the last moment (next day) and was kind and flexible when our arrival time kept changing. Her guest studio is spacious and clean, and the kitchen better outfitted than we expected from the pictures (there's an electric stove). While advertised as a "basement" studio, theree are windows looking out into the yard, which is quaint and a nice place to study. Whetstone lake is a 5 minute walk down the street, and a pleasant 30-60 minute to walk around it. Restaurants, convenience stores, and pharmacy are a 10 minute walk from the house. NIST-Gaithersburg, our destination, is a 10 minute drive. So really this place is ideal for NIST visitors, as Debbie advertises. Bottom line: spacious, tidy, quaint and conveniently located for hikes, shopping/eating, and NIST. Thanks, Debbie!

I needed a restful night before an early flight, and my stay was indeed peaceful and relaxing. While the stairs leading to the property were challenging with my large luggage, despite the host's kind offer of assistance, the tranquility of the stay made it worthwhile.

I loved staying here. i have just moved to the area and was looking for a place to stay until i find an apartment. while this can be a chaotic time, this experience gave me peace of mind. house was clean, Wambua is so friendly, and the area is nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend!

A very nice place in a quiet residential neighborhood, just 20 minutes from the hidden gem of Frederick, MD - with all of its shops, restaurants, etc., and just 45 min from DC. The host was great, the local town and surrounding area is very cozy and rich with historical sites, vineyards, etc., and I had a very nice stay. Enjoy!

Carole is an Excellent host. She is very resonsive and attends to every detail. My daughter stayed for approximately 2 weeks at Caroles place. There was a comment from a previous guest that there was an oder and some dishes left in the living room. This unfortunately was my daughter not cleaning up after herself, and not Caroles fault. A great place to stay at an affordable price!

Was a very nice stay. You do have to go into their living space to get to the apartment, but they were very gracious!

Nice quiet place. Lots of singing birds. Quiet neighborhood. Lots of greenery everywhere. Alysha gets right back though we didn’t need anything except a couple “how do I” or “where is”. 2 minutes from Rock Creek bike trail and pedestrian path. House has interesting pictures and art stuff. Nice sun room. Enormous backyard with a barbecue. Shady well AM and late afternoon as Maryland can be hot and muggy in summer. Great visit.

Stayed here during our bike ride on the C&O trail. It was about 1 mile off of the trail, and very easy to find. It was exactly what we needed. Multiple showers, two bedrooms, and laundry-everyone in our group was able to get refreshed for another day on the trail! There weren’t restaurants in the area, but plenty of options on DoorDash. Our beds were extremely comfortable. This was our best stay on the trail for sure!

Stay at Mahmoud place was very comparable and pleasant experience. He is very friendly and communicative person, room and shared areas was clean and had everything what you need for comparable stay. Areas around the place very walkable and have beatiful views. I would recommend this place. Thank you for the hospitality!

Lovely large apartment. Not a basement at all. More of a walk out - it has lots of natural light. Well equipped kitchen. Previous review about common space unfounded. Totally secure. You can use laundry - pretty sweet - which is shared we are biking to C&O canal and it is well located for that! Thank you!

This was, without a doubt, THE best AirBnB that we have ever stayed in. Super host Anne. Nicely loaded refrigerator, wines and even a homemade quiche for us! Unbelievable. My wife and I are still talking about it. We’d go back in a heartbeat.

This house is absolutely gorgeous, and to think I was only in the 2BR basement part of it. Very clean and well maintained and beautiful nature surrounding it! Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood with a lake nearby. Lalit and Eric do an amazing job with communication and making sure you feel comfortable and have everything you need. Definitely recommend the stay!

This was by far the best Airbnb we could ever ask for. Betty's hospitality and friendliness is off the charts!!! Betty is a fantastic host who will make you feel right at home. she was very kind and generous to share with us her delicious home cooked meals several times during our stay. She even lend me her car for a day and took metro to her job when I had a situation with mine. There is not enough words to express Betty's generosity but to say I'm humbled and appreciative for people like you Betty ! you're a life saver and a valued friend! Betty's place exceeded our expectations, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great private bedroom with attached private bathroom and every amenities you ever need for your stay. She communicated effectively and was very accommodating. She really cared about our stay and was flexible. Thank you for being Awesome! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! A+++++++
