From the moment we stepped over the threshold, we felt happy. Erynn's friends were playing music! Her books were so eclectic and wonderful that I wish we were snowbound and did not have to continue our journey. Everything worked beautifully, of course. But our delight goes far beyond any standard list. I'll name two: lovely antique salt and pepper shaker on the silver tray. She made scones ahead, froze them, then they were baked fresh for our morning. The willow limbs danced in the wind and rain but we were cozy and peaceful and buoyed in Erynn's

We had a wonderful stay here! The best part was breakfast with the hosts and the wonderful accommodations. Everything is thoughtful and intentional and so comfortable. We enjoyed the fresh cookies and baked bread (it was the best). We couldn't recommend this enough if you are looking for a weekend away in the mountains with some great folks. LOTS of great hiking nearby as well.

The house is very homey and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. Great communication about the fact there was little cell service in the area and to download the directions. it was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Highly recommend.

I stayed at Kelley's place for a month while visiting VT. It had everything I needed for a comfortable long-term stay. (And very clean!) Commute to Blacksburg was easy, and surprisingly walkable to many places (like coffee shop for breakfast and downtown). Wal-Mart and other stores were also close by. I couldn't have asked for a better place and host.

Norma was very accommodating and very kind. She was easy to get into contact with when we needed her. Her house is spotless and has everything you need. The Food Lion across the street is very convenient and the house is within walking distance to main street.

Chris and Anita, thank you again so much for your hospitality and all your recommendations about the area. The cottage feel of the Ranch house and the beauty of your property is so special! We had no idea how much we would love watching the cows on the hillside when waking up. We enjoyed our stay with you very much and look forward to seeing you again. Great little place!

Debby and Dan were wonderful. In all of my interactions with them they were kind, friendly and helpful. Although the description and photos are accurate, I didn't reread it before I went so I forgot that this was a basement. the space is a little dark for me. I gave a great review because the space was accurately described, the hosts were amazing, the space was clean and proved everything I needed, and the location is spot on. also, the Wi-Fi and TV options were great!

Birgit is a wonderful host and her place is spacious, easy to find, clean, comfortable, and has a beautiful mountain view from the back patio!

This place was perfect for my mom and I! We each had a separate place but we were right across the hall from each other. We liked how close it was to downtown Roanoke. Stephen made a video to show where the apartments were and where to park - it was so helpful! He was very responsive tp our questions and gave us local restaurant recommendations. We were in town to visit family and we were able to walk to Mast (a local clothing/general store) from where we were staying - it was only a 12 minute walk. The place was spacious, beautiful, and so clean! We will definitely stay here again when in Roanoke!

We loved our stay in the loft! Overall quiet and very cozy; the bed was to die for. I was a little worried about the parking but the lot right next to the building and the YouTube video helped a lot, and we had no issues parking whatsoever.

We have stayed at Home Sweet Home many times. Chyrel and her husband have always been kind, courteous, friendly and helpful every time. The place is clean, quiet and convenient for our needs. We would highly recommend staying here.👍👍

It’s a days inn so it was exactly what I expected. Perfect place to stay if traveling or visiting the area. They were easy to communicate with. Also very flexible on checking. Would stay again.

Kim and Rodger’s hospitality go above and beyond anything I’ve experienced. The location was perfect for star gazing out on the patio, or shopping in near by Floyd. We absolutely adored their dog piglet who we couldn’t love on enough! Communication is never a problem, Kim is happy to help with anything during your stay. We loved this slice of paradise and will be returning soon!

If you are looking for comfortable and clean accommodations, friendly hosts, and all the charm of a historic home filled with antiques and family memories , this is the perfect place! Mitch and Bobbi thought of everything to make us comfortable and welcome.

From the moment we entered the home, we felt welcomed and honored. Their historical home had the charm of older homes but with modern conveniences. Artwork and family heirlooms truly made being guests in their an experience versus just a place to sleep. And, to top it off, the home made breakfast was amazing!

I had the most wonderful stay at Mitchell and Bobbi’s bed and breakfast at 25 East Main in Fincastle! Mitchell and Bobbi are warm and welcoming hosts, their home is beautiful, the breakfasts delicious, and they were so wonderful to talk with each day. My room was spacious and very comfortable - I will definitely return again and look forward to seeing them again. I highly recommend staying with them when you are visiting Fincastle!

Every room has a view of the river! Shared living room and dinning room spaces were comfortable. You will have access to both deck levels with plenty of tables, chairs, and rockers to sit and enjoy the river view. You will enjoy a delicious breakfast and plan on eating your other meals out. This Inn is very quiet and clean and perfect for nature lovers that want a beautiful place to unwind.

Gini was so welcoming and her home was just what we were looking for. A beautiful quiet place nestled in the mountains with stunning views. We enjoyed a fire outside in the evening and her dinner recommendation was excellent.
