We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage & were pleasantly surprised that Laura had the pool still available to us long after the Labor Day weekend. There had been some pretty intense storms prior to our arrival that detracted from the pristine environment that Laura seemed quite attentive to provide for us. We missed our king size bed but the enclosed outdoor kitchen, dining area, and porch made us feel truly at home away from home in a slightly rustic yet elegant way. Laura respected our privacy and made sure we had everything we needed demonstrating her adeptness at handling our visit with professionalism and invisibility. We were provided respite after long hours on the road & gathering with family & friends for a wedding. A real hidden paradise in the city of Roanoke. Thank you very kindly Laura. Kate & Mitch.

Joe and Debra are both so kind! We've stayed with them twice- once for a long (3 month) stay and once for a weekend, and both were great! They are very considerate and offered to help us several times because of the snow this weekend. I'd always highly recommend a stay at Tiki Joe's because it's comfortable, unique, and nearby some really cool little spots off the beaten track!

Giulia has a very nice apartment that was clean with plenty of room. Although close to town, there is a remote feel as the house is surrounded by woods - a definite plus for me.

The Gardener’s cabin was a perfect place to stay for a couple of days! It was SO cute, and incredibly clean. Safety is always a big factor for me, and I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler parking and staying at the cabin. I would absolutely stay here again.

The unit was very clean and the reservation and check in process were simple. The location was very scenic and private yet close and convenient to everything in the area. We will certainly be back.

Great location for visiting Virginia Tech. Private space in a quiet neighborhood. Hosts made a nice effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

This was such a lovely place! It was peaceful and cozy! We spent a lot of time upstairs the hammock and brown sitting spot were our favorite spots! We played video games and had a lovely trip! I had a question and Samual and Elana responded within 2 minutes! They were nice and this play was exactly as described!

Roanoke is a nice city with lots to do. This place is convenient and the street parking is easy. There is a bakery across the street. We used the sauna when it was 20* outside and we enjoyed it. We also enjoyed the zero gravity chair and hot tub. Thanks for the great stay!

We had a very relaxing time. The place was very comfortable and clean. Everything went smoothly and the hot tub was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Stayed here to get away and relax! It was the perfect setting of peacefulness! Cozy & comfy. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking our own meals. Lynn has supplied all the extras you can think of. A very lovely retreat! Definitely recommend this place!!

We had a great trip! Walley’s place was off of the beaten path and her and her family were so welcoming and hospitable. The property is rustic and is not for those who are city lovers but it was perfect for us.
