This home was very nice and cozy. It was clean and had all the amenities listed. It is centrally located in the downtown area of Montrose. We will not hesitate to choose this location again on future trips to Montrose.

Jan's home was perfect for our needs and plans during our stay in Montrose: comfortable, cozy, and centrally located for walks to town and as the starting point for our various daily excursions to hot springs, wine country, and ski areas. He was attentive to checking in with us, and responsive to my communications before and during our stay there. Thank you, Jan, for your part in accomplishing a successful family vacation on the Western Slope!

This was my second stay at Utopia North, and with luck, not my last. Claudia and Richard made my stays here very comfortable and inviting. During my stays I’ve taken trips to photograph birds. On this visit my highlights included Golden Eagles and American Dippers near Ridgway and Sand Hill Cranes in Delta. Utopia North is a short distance from both.

Norm was very welcoming and always available to meet any needs we had. He was very personable and has a lot of knowledge of the area. Super host! We loved our stay and would come again. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing There is a wonderful large yard with an outside grill and seating. I would highly recommend this home away from home !

There were so many nice little touches that really made the place feel like home. I also want to buy that couch now!! ;-)

The Cabin is well kept and had lots of nice extras which made are stay even better. We enjoyed the views, enclosed patio with smoker and large kitchen stove/double oven. It was great talking to both Mark and Sai. They are available if you need them but will leave you to yourself if you prefer. We would love to come back sometime. Thanks for a great stay!

Description was spot on and this is definitely a place to get away and relax. Amazing opportunities for stargazing and relaxing by the fire. Also, the location makes for a convenient home base to explore Ouray, Telluride, etc. We would stay again if we were to come back to the area in the future!

Comfortable, peaceful, and beautiful. In addition to having everything we needed as on the listing there were lots of thoughtful little touches too like a nightlight in the bathroom, lots of towel racks, Kleenex, and bedside water glass. Hummingbirds outside our door in the flowers every day, watching chickens do their thing, and visits from sweet kitty Shadow made it extra special.
