This lovely cottage is in a very convenient spot for a Melbourne visitor. it is a short walk to trams and an inexpensive Uber ride to the city. The house has all the amenities we needed for our long weekend stay, plus so many thoughtful extras. Greg provided some lovely breakfast items, good coffee etc which we really appreciated. The beds were comfy and the whole house was clean and tidy. The back garden is a lovely spot for an outdoor meal. All in all we had a lovely weekend and would highly recommend.

Justin’s place was a delight to stay in. It was comfortable, homely and the facilities were above and beyond. Thoroughly recommend it if you have a family group needing somewhere to stay - you will not be disappointed. Hopefully we can stay again one day.

We had a wonderful stay in North Fitzroy at Rachel’s Airbnb. The location was perfect for us. It’s close to everything, transport shops restaurants etc. and yet the studio is very quiet and peaceful. Also, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We highly recommend staying in this unique and cosy studio and hope to stay again in the future. Thank you Rachel

Jennifer’s place is an absolute gem. Tucked away in a quiet part of Fitzroy north, you’re close enough to everything but also close enough to the buzzy parts of the city. Well appointed with everything you need, great kitchen, comfy bed and Jennifer was a breeze to deal with

Naomi is an awesome host! She was so helpful and responsive and went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable and seamless as possible. The house is perfect for a Fitzroy stay and so easy to get to more restaurants, cafes and fun places than you can actually visit - you need months! The house was really comfy and easy to live in. We had an awesome week!

Great location, very quiet neighborhood and close to tram stop for exploring Melbourne and Merri Creek trail walks. Sympathetically renovated, spacious house with lovely well equipped kitchen, bathroom and gorgeous hardwood floors. Nice outside seating area off kitchen. Church pews while looking great not functional seating. A comfortable sofa in Kitchen sitting area would be a really great addition!

Mauro's place is a beautiful and historic home with lots of interesting photos of his many travels! It had everything we needed for our stay, and the host had left many instructions for how to use the washing machine etc, and lots of recommendations for local coffee shops etc. Its right on the tram line, just about 30mins from the CBD and a short walk to the famous markets. Maoru was very responelsive and even left us milk and bread for our stay The house did not have air conditioning, which I was worried about when I realised the temperature was forecast to be 41°C. But the home actually stayed lovely and cool with its think walls and high roof, so it wasn't a problem at all!

Kara’s place is one of the best airbnb we have stayed in. The location is spot on for the 96 tram, South Melbourne market, restaurants and shops. We had seven fantastic days in South Melbourne. Kara is a great host and made our check in so easy. We would stay there every time we go to Melbourne. Again thank you Kara. Deb and Chris.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Louise's, and it was truly a delightful experience. It felt like discovering a little oasis in the heart of the city. After a busy day out, the courtyard provided the perfect spot to unwind and relax. The unit itself was immaculate. Everything was clean and tidy, and all the essentials were provided for a comfortable stay. I couldn't have asked for a better place to come back to each evening. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to recharge in a serene setting!

Loved this apartment, it is conveniently close to Southern Cross station, but far enough away to feel detached from the noise and bustle. We felt very safe and secure within the building and apartment. The apartment is tastefully decorated, fresh and clean. It is beautifully and subtly fragranced. The amenities and products available for use are gorgeous! (Seriously, I need to know where to buy these products). The beds were so comfortable and were dressed in beautiful soft linen. They were just heavenly to hop into at the end of the day and we both slept very soundly. Kylie anticipates every need, she has thought of everything. I would happily recommend this apartment and host to anyone and hope to stay again soon.

I spent a relaxing and enjoyable time at Karen’s apartment. It was just so well-located for all the things I wanted to do - in the CBD, Carlton, Fitzroy, Brunswick and beyond. I made use of Carlton Gardens opposite - to sit, read and go to the amazing Melbourne Museum. I could walk to the State Library (fabulous) and used the trams to get to the NGV, the Bitanical Gardens, and Brighton beach.

I was in Melb for 3 nights for a work trip and adored this sweet little cottage, with homely touches and a beautiful sunny outlook. The perfect place to come ‘home’ to at the end of the day and great cafes for the start! Melinda could not have been more welcoming.

Nadine and Chris’s apartment is beautifully presented and we felt very much at home. They are also lovely hosts and were very helpful and understanding with any questions we had. The location is ideal - a very prestigious and picturesque area which is a short walk to some very good food and coffee shops in Toorak Village, with easy access to the tram into the CBD. Next time we are in Melbourne this would be our first choice of accommodation.

Fantastic modern apartment, centrally located within walking distance to shops, restaurants, cafes and train/trams. Anne was brilliant host and the apartment was spotless with amazing views. Would stay again!

Die Unterkunft von Jessica ist mit dem Tram 86 bis zur Wohnung Stop 34 sehr einfach erreichbar. Shops sind in nächster Nähe. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Die Küche und Wohnung ist vollständig ausgerüstet.

The apartment is lovely. Great location, it was clean, had quality bed linen and towels. Lots of extra blankets and things. The terrace is amazing. Michelle was a great host, very quick to respond to messages and being able to store our suitcase before and after check in/out was really convenient. Will definitely recommend this place to friends.

Villetta super vetrata, situata in un quartiere tranquillo, arredo indiano, stanza per due davvero grande, bagno privato con lampade riscaldanti. Il letto più comodo in cui io abbia mai dormito!! I padroni super gentili. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente se saremo da quelle parti.

We were given the option of having the room that we booked or upgrading (free of charge) to a very cool art deco 2br apartment...(which of course is the option we took). All in all it was a smooth and fun weekend.

Während unseres Aufenthaltes in Melbourne haben wir die Gastfreunschaft von Kumari und Paul genießen dürfen. Wir hatten ein liebevoll eingerichtetes und ruhiges Zimmer mit privatem Bad. Die gemeinsam genutzte Küche war sehr umfassend ausgestattet und Kumari und Paul waren jederzeit bei Fragen ansprechbar - oder auch für den ein oder anderen Austausch über Reisen und Alltagsthemen. Besonders genossen haben wir unser Abendbrot immer auf der Terrasse mit Abendsonne. Nach dem Aufstehen stand schon das leckere Frühstück bereit, neben Müsli , Joghurt, Obst und Brot gab es verschiedene Aufstriche, manche davon selbst gemacht. Einfach toll. Zum wunderschönen Strand sind es knapp 15min zu Fuß, in die Stadt rund eine Stunde mit dem Bus, welcher wenige Gehminuten vom Haus abfährt. Wir wären gern länger geblieben und können daher nur jedem diese Unterkunft empfehlen. Danke Kumari und Paul für die schöne Zeit bei euch.

Our stay at Daniel’s was absolutely perfect for a long weekend away. The staff at Napier Quarter went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable, assisting us with booking in for two meals at the restaurant, and ensuring the room was turned over at a time that suited us. The space is absolutely gorgeous and even better than the pictures. Loved the extra touches like fresh oranges and sourdough. Will hopefully be back.

The best place to go if you want to take a break from city life and enjoy what’s nature have to offer! Will definitely go back again in the future!

Hosts Barry and his wife were very welcoming! Also, the room was gorgeous and clean and we loved having an attached bathroom that was spacious and nice. Only slight issue is that the water system might be a little hard to get at first as there are specific instructions on how to turn on/off the water as well as adjust temperature. There was also a mini fridge and kettle in the room which was great. Location was a 15 min walk to Toorak village where we would definitely recommend trying the spaghetti marinara at Romeo’s (or anything else honestly, the food there is great and portions are huge). However do note that although accessible by public transport to the CBD, the nearest bus stop is still a ~5min walk away so driving is best. Overall a really good experience and we will be back if we return to Melbourne!

I love staying at this little sanctuary . The gardens are beautiful as is the room amd I always feel so relaxed when I stay here. I visit my son who lives nearby and this is the perfect place for me to stay whilst travelling from interstate.
