The house was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The house was a close distance to the lake. It’s not on the water but the boat ramp is close by. We enjoyed the big round dining room table to play UNO with the kids. We enjoyed the Charlotte Whitewater Center that is about 30 minutes away. The house is a great location.

This is a beautiful waterfront home. Inside, it was clean and comfortable, with all amenities included as advertised. Great home for families, as the kid's corner is fun, and there's lots of fun to be had on the property for kids. The hot tub worked great and was clean. The large windows provide wonderful views of the water, and the deck is a great size to enjoy the view from outside. The location is generally about ~15 minutes away from stores. Highly recommended for a getaway!

The place was just what we were looking for during our family trip for Spring Break week. The boys loved the use of the dock for fishing and kept busy with the basketball hoop. My favorite was the view of the lake from the deck and the living room windows. The whole property was gorgeous and had everything that we needed. Our oldest daughter took advantage of the walkout bedrooms downstairs. She loved that she could wake up and walk out and see the lake. There was plenty of wildlife to see in the mornings also. If you are looking for lake fun in a quiet neighborhood then Down the Hatch is the place for you! Peter and Jackie reached out to let us know to reach out to them if we needed anything. They were great hosts.

We stayed here for our wedding and not only was it beautiful the host stephanie was great at responding to any and all questions we had! would definitely stay here again!

Came in from Knoxville for the Spartan race. Davis's place was very convenient to plenty of stores and restaurants, and was easy to find. Squeaky clean and super comfortable. Davis was friendly and I'm pretty sure he would have been very helpful if he hadn't already taken care of whatever we needed ahead of time.

This home was a very peaceful location with abundant windows and views of the lake. Very private with comfortable beds and plentiful bathrooms for our family of four.

Highly recommend Lorillee’s space! It’s cozy, well-decorated and convenient to restaurants and shopping. Lorillee also is super responsive to questions and helpful with things to do in the area.

Great place! Close to town- we walked to breakfast, lunch and dinner both days we were there. Quiet, peaceful and comfortable accommodations. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay was wonderful! We loved this home and property. It is in a neighborhood, but it is so private and feels secluded. We were very comfortable here. The home smelled great! The beds were SO comfortable. The host was very responsive. We would love to stay here again the future.

Jamie covered everything in her e-mails, texts and booklet at the cabin that we had absolutely no questions or need for communication. We DID have a need to return after checkout to return the kayak to its proper location and she graciously gave us the go-ahead. We needed help from our grandsons to get it on the dock and carry it up to the rack provided and had to wait till they got out of school. Would so recommend her place to anyone who wants a lovely place on Lake Norman especially if they need to b near the Troutman area. Wonderful place!!!

We Enjoyed our Stay at This Airbnb it was very clean, nice location, and looked just like the photos!! The host was extremely nice and made sure he sent us all instructions needed and more!! Serenity Cove was absolutely incredible! The pictures didn’t do it justice! It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with some friends. The views were incredible and picturesque. The location was the best of both worlds being far enough from the city to feel like you’re tucked in your own little wonderland but still close enough in case you need to run to the store, go uptown or place a delivery order. The house is stocked with all sorts of things like cooking utensils and games and truly nothing beats just sitting and spending time on their amazing deck. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a spot for a getaway in the Charlotte area.

Absolutely the BEST play to stay! We booked a 3-night stay for a weekend getaway. I found Sun-filled Lakefront Cottage Oasis by happenstance while looking for a retreat at Lake Norman. It was exactly what we had hoped for! A quiet, cozy, clean cottage on a beautiful property with breathtaking views of the lake. It's just a short drive into town with plenty of places to eat but also had a kitchen (very well stocked) so you could cook yourself and stay in (& why not with those views). The pier was great, and it had nice shade to sit and relax while reading a book, fishing, or just enjoying nature. The cottage was extremely comfortable overall with everything you could possibly need for a getaway. We loved that you have a lake view from all rooms of the cottage. The owner was very friendly, helpful, and gracious. I loved the recommendations as to what to see and where to eat in Sherrill’s Ford put together by the owner! Absolute perfection…We will definitely be back!!

Jack is a great host. My wife and I enjoyed meeting him. He does not live in the BnB but is close by if you need him. He met us at the house and showed us around. The house is beautiful and right on the water. The boat ramp is 3 mins from the house. We will definitely be back!!

Angie & Allen were fantastic hosts and have the perfect getaway on Lake Wylie. Only minutes from downtown Charlotte, it was a breeze to find the location and the check in being flexible was a great help!The rooms inside were spacious with the charming lake/fishing theme throughout. We had 2 couples staying here as we were down for a college alumni trip, and I cannot thank Allen & Angie enough for working with us and allowing us to have the best experience in their cabin-like home. Being on Trout Pond on Lae Wylie, naturally I brought my fly rod along and even caught a bass the first night! The stairs are still under repair but this was no issue with getting up and down the hill to and from the dock. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the city looking for a cosy lake experience with reasonable distance to the Queen City.

Perfect!! I am a review reader and made my choice based on reviews!! This place is exactly as described and more!! Felt like home....was very comfortable/cozy!! Everything you might need was there!! 😊 Location: we loved the privacy of this rental!! The morning sun coming from across the field (across the road) was so welcoming!! Easy to find!! Few minutes to the interstate (convenience stores and gas)!! Communication with Robert was top-notch!! I had no issues at all but Robert checked in to assure we got checked in ok (keypad super easy)...and then again to make sure all was well and any questions/concerns!! The bedrooms were large size rooms....comfy beds and nice linens/bedding! Plenty of towels in both bathrooms (brought my own due to allergies)....very nice!! Kitchen was nice....new appliances!! Loved that fridge!! 😊 We cooked a pizza one night but other than that really didn't use kitchen!! Let's talk about the plate of "welcome" cookies!! 🤩 Yum!! 100% recommend!!

We immediately felt right at home at the Bohopad! Tucked away in a peaceful and natural setting, it was easy to relax right upon arrival. The colorful and eclectic (tastefully done!) decor felt fun to the senses. Every aspect of comfort was provided. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, clean and simple bathrooms. . . it was everything we wanted for a weekend retreat. The host was very helpful for any need that arose. We will be back again! The cottage was absolutely beautiful, exceptionally clean, and modern! We really enjoyed having sushi on the indoor patio! The host(s) went out of their way, by providing more than everything that was needed for an amazing stay! We would definitely love to stay again! We had a wonderful stay! The home was incredibly spacious and comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day out. Everything felt cozy and well cared for, and we had plenty of room to spread out and unwind. The location was walkable to everything in Davidson. It was easy to explore the area on foot, with shops, restaurants, and the college just a short stroll away. Our host was extremely helpful and thoughtful.
