We selected the are because we had our entire family coming - family from Greene county TN (on the NC border) and from the AF base near Goldsboro NC. Mooresville NC is halfway between each location . Plenty of parking. Very nice outdoor fire pit, indoor gas fireplace and an indoor wood fireplace. Nice beach area and boat dock We highly recommend this house and the host - Christian.

Kelly was an excellent host, and responded very quickly. The place was very nice, clean and looked exactly like the photos. Kitchen was stocked extremely well, as was the whole home! Our family will definitely come here again. If you’re thinking about booking, do it! Yoh won’t regret it 🙂

the place was worth a good bit more than what we paid for. We stay in a lot of Airbnb's, I actually remodel Airbnbs. This was a great find. We will definitely recommend it and use it again if possible. some of the nicest hosts we've ever worked with.

Million dollar views! We enjoyed our stay beautiful views of the sunset right on the lake. This place was so peaceful. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Scott communicated and checked on us during our stay. Will definitely stay again!

Stayed while taking the little guy to Polar Express. Had a great long weekend and was an easy 25 min to the train. Coldest night of the year and loved it. Would recommend arriving during the day but we managed at night. Looking forward to visiting again in warmer months.

This was such a beautiful location. You are at the end of the road, so there is zero traffic. They had ping pong and tons of board games. My family and I spent a lot of our time relaxing and hanging out. Everything was labeled very well and easy to find.

We had a very relaxing weekend trip at this beautiful lakeside retreat! It is well-maintained and equipped with creature comforts that made our stay fun and convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque views, lake access, kayaks and how open and airy the A-frame cottage was. We were also very happy that they had a crib for our little one. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and responsive. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved this place! Stayed here with my family and in laws for thanksgiving. The place is stunning, just as shown in the pictures, very clean, and incredibly well stocked. They thought of literally every details. Hosts were also incredible responsive…we needed a step stool and they dropped off two options within 10 minutes. We will absolutely be back. LeeAnn was very responsive during our stay. We had keypad issues upon arrival, but she responded quickly and the issues were resolved. The space is well laid-out and was perfect for 2. The large picture window in the LR was wonderful. There are bluebird boxes just in the backyard (with bluebirds!). Because we just needed time away, birdwatching was one of the best activities for us! An added plus is the coffee maker--both conventional for making a pot and a Keurig-style. AND there was a water cooler dispenser that was a life saver.

The location and setting were everything we hoped for. We were able to get to all of the communities we wanted to investigate and found a couple we really like a lot. The boat house was perfect for us as a home base. Jack was there to greet us when we arrived, showed us the details we needed, and met with us the morning we left. We had a delightful time.

House is beautiful, just as described. Christopher has instructions for everything clearly printed out. The floors and bathrooms were immaculate. Nice appliances and start up items. Many cozy spaces to relax and enjoy family. Fishing off the dock was great, we caught a couple of nice size catfish. The amount of stairs could be challenging if leaving place often, but great for exercise if you’re into that. Other than that a definite 5-star stay. Thanks Christopher and Crystal we loved the cottage.

Provided space and amenities were just right for our 2 teens, German Shepherd, wife & me. We have family friends in the area, so we are likely to return to this listing. We might bring our own kayaks next time just to balance out our options and in case the pontoon boat isn't available. I will remain a smidge jealous of the kitchen when I get home. My height-challenged spouse might've appreciated a step-stool for some cabinets and for using the clothes-dryer. We appreciated the selection of board games during the rainiest days and that the home seemed to be free of manufactured scents (like scented candles, etc.). Turns out, the water off the dock will yield some fun catfish catches. Cast southward and let it sit about 2 to 3 feet under a bobber. We baited our hooks with doughballs blended with cheese, Italian dressing, & brown sugar. Caught 8 in total during the last 2 days of our stay.

Alicia & John were lovely hosts. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking meals. There were extra towels & washcloths for our family of five. Lots of great info in their guest binder. Covered pier was an amazing place to spend mornings & evenings. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

The property location was perfect on the Lake and close to Restaurants and shopping. The host was very helpful with local recommendations and highlights of the area.

AvantStay was great to work with. Great communication up to and thru the stay. The cabin was immaculate and looked just like the photos. The in-house signage was super helpful and we felt right at home in no time. I'll definitely use AvantStay in the future.

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway right on the water. The hosts were very responsive and equipped the house with everything you could need. They provided a fire pit, grill, kayaks, and canoes which were perfect activities given the weather. There are houses nearby but it still felt like we had our privacy. We would definitely rent this house again and come back to Lake Norman!

We went for our senior spring break trip! It was absolutely gorgeous and such a wonderful place to create such beautiful and lasting memories! Our hosts were so, so kind and welcoming! One of the best Airbnb trips I’ve ever taken!!

Joey allowed us a late check out due to personal needs! He did this without hesitation! The stay was lovely, the cabin was amazing!

This is the most cozy and quaint cabin. The location and the view is magnificent! Sitting in the screened in back patio and watching the sunset is breathtaking!!! Would love to return in the warmer months for sure.

My 3 friends and I drove 9 hrs from NJ to spend the wknd with a friend in Mooresville. Our 1st (of several) OMG moments came as we pulled in (and down) the driveway and saw the lake right in front us. James place was AMAZING! The external pics don't do the place justice. The cabin is only minutes from shopping and great dining. The location right on the lake is priceless. Hanging on the boat dock or sitting on the porch watching the sunset were highlights of our stay. My friends and I loved the house! We highly recommend it and will be back again.
