Matthew was a great host and very accommodating for our last minute change in reservation. The place was very clean and the instructions were clear. He was also very quick to respond when we got locked out. Definitely will use again in the future.

We had a great stay! The location is convenient, about 20 minutes to the airport, and the host has thoughtfully stocked the space with everything you might need—from toiletries and a first aid kit to kitchen staples like condiments, pasta, and rice. These little touches made our stay even more comfortable. The home was well-equipped and welcoming, though we did notice that the mattresses were a bit saggy, and the pots and pans had some scratches. Replacing them would make the stay even better. Overall, we really appreciated the attention to detail and had a wonderful experience. Thank you for hosting us!

We always love staying at the Beach House in Seward. We come with our doggos and it's a fun and relaxing time for all. We go to the nearby hiking trail and down to the beach. Love being tucked away in the woods. The hosts are always responsive. We come out and stay 3-4 times a year ;)

The Cottage on the Bay was unbelievable! Upon arrival we commented the only thing that would make the cottage better was to face west vs east..until sunrise the next morning. WOW! Every morning was spectacular! Being 10 min away from Seward was great (the dirt road was not in the best shape but we're from MI so we are used to roads w/ potholes). We cooked most breakfasts/dinners (the kitchen was great for meal prep) it was nice to have lunch in town. The Safeway in Seward was stocked well and we found everything needed even gluten free items. The cottage was a perfect home base for a jam-packed week of activities starting w/ a 6 hour cruise of Kenai Fjords National Park (we saw a humpback in Sept amazing). The Two Lakes Trail in Seward was our warm up for the Exit Glacier hike. The Alaska SeaLife Center was great for our 1 rainy day! We also rafted the Resurrection River, all in Seward. Jet skiing in Whittier was crazy fun too! The cottage and Alaska did not disappoint!

The views from the cabin is unbelievable! We wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the interior space and felt at home relaxing in the beautiful cabin.

House was as listed and host was very responsive. Quiet neighborhood and lovely creek path just down the road.

PROS: • Conveniently located near grocery and restaurants • Comfy bed • Double sink in bathroom • Washer and dryer in unit • Blender, Instant Pot, mixing bowl CONS: • A lot of windows, but can only open a couple • Window placement doesn’t provide a lot of privacy. Had to keep curtains drawn. • Confusing instructions on which unit was ours. We were given a letter, which should’ve been a number(on the door). All in all, Vanna did a good job in responding to our concerns

This was the perfect place for my family and friends. Check in and check out was a breeze. It’s nice and clean! It is close to the airport which is great. The host was very thoughtful and provided blankets and other things for the amount of guests we had. I recommend this place and would stay here again!
