Very spacious nice peaceful home on a pretty lake within a great location. Beautiful lake views from every room. The house was immaculate with much attention to detail for our comfort. The kitchen was amazingly very well stocked with supplies. Breakfast items in fridge as well as some welcoming adult beverages were also available to us with a very welcoming message. Bonnie & Paul were exceptional friendly hosts going above & beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. We highly recommend Bonnie and Paul’s home for the quiet, comfort, spaciousness, views, location, cleanliness, lakeside charm, and filled with everything needed for a wonderful visit in Maine. Thank you Bonnie & Paul for making our visit so enjoyable!!

This was our second stay at Michael's house. The house is in a great location near the town of Windham and on the water. The house was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. Michael was very helpful and attentive. We would definitely like to stay there again! Thank you so much!

We encountered a minor issue upon checkin and the ONLY reason I mention it in this review is so that I can highlight how responsive and prompt Lea was to help us resolve it and ensure our stay at her home was a positive experience (and it absolutely was by every measure). The home is clean and gorgeous inside and out. More than enough space for multiple families. Everything was exactly as described in listing. We had an amazing weekend and could certainly see ourselves visiting again in the future. I couldn’t recommend this home or the hosts any more highly.

We stayed in this home over Christmas and it was perfectly cozy and delightful. The lake was frozen, the house was decorated with lights and a tree, and the bed was comfy. Also, I goofed and burned a pan when I was getting the hang of the stove and Stephanie took care of it for us quickly. Communication was easy. I hope to stay here again!

Our party had a great stay at Julie's home! The house is so well stocked and so many logical choices were made by Julie to make the stay as convenient and effortless as possible. The hot tub was awesome, the lower floor was cozy and fun with plenty of games, and the layout was great for the two kids and two adults. The entire house was very clean and comfortable. Julie was very communicative and responsive throughout our stay. She also had a basket of goodies waiting for us on arrival. I would love to come back in the summer months to kayak on the lake. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

This is the kind of airbnb I'm excited to visit and support -- really lovely, cozy place with a lot of character and everything we needed to make ourselves at home for a week. The proximity to Chocorua is fantastic and it's a good spring board to the lakes region & and the White Mountains. Becky is fantastic - super friendly, responsive, and kind. The wifi was strong enough for me to work there for a few days and we had all the supplies we needed to cook for ourselves. The only issue was the road noise, which was pretty loud during the day, but thankfully quieter in the nights.

Susan’s place was the perfect spot for our getaway trip! The location and views were amazing and only a short trip to Portland. The space was spacious and exactly as pictured. We would stay here again.

The nook is a beautiful and cozy place to explore this part of Maine! Kate was an INCREDIBLY responsive and generous host, even replying to a message I sent late at night with the best northern lights viewing location I’ve ever seen. Norway and Brighton are great surrounding towns and the lakes in Harrison are beautiful spots for a swim. Everything was wonderful!

Our stay at Tim & Joanne’s was great! We’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in this area. The hosts are very friendly, accommodating, and responsive. Anytime we had a question they were quick to help. The place itself is very cozy and we felt very comfy. The only thing we wish is it were a bit closer to Mt. Abram, which is where we were skiing, but that only applies to our situation. Overall it was a great place to stay with great hosts!

Kelley and Jim were great and very accommodating for my 92 year old father. They cleared the snow and made sure he had a safe walkway. The basket with the bread, jam, wine, and fresh baked pumpkin bread was a great touch!

We had a wonderful stay! Lisa is very responsive and so nice. We quickly made friends with Bella, the resident dog, and she is the sweetest pup. We were surprised with a Thanksgiving snow storm and the town lost power but there is a whole house generator, so we didn’t skip a beat or notice the power outage, which was so nice! There is a coffee pot on site (not a Keurig) and Lisa provided coffee grounds, which was amazing because we brought coffee pods. The bathroom is directly off the bedroom but there is no door, so if you need more privacy, I’d plan to tack up a blanket. The view of the lake is gorgeous and the property is peaceful. A gas station with a Dunkin is just a just a minute or two down the road and very convenient. We would definitely return.

Christine was wonderful to work with and the house was in a beautiful location by the lake. All amenities were as described as well as some additional touches to help feel welcomed. Christine is very responsive and kind. Highly recommend!

My husband and I spent 6 days here for our anniversary. I wanted a location on the water and close to visit all the major coastal towns in Maine. This was perfect! The home, felt like home, and everything was clean and beautiful. Adam was very helpful whenever I had any questions. Sipping coffee every morning on the back porch and watching the sunrise over the lake was so peaceful. Grocery store close by and great hiking/walking areas right out the front door. Can’t wait to come back and bring the family.

Great little getaway! Nick and Tanya’s place was perfect for our family of 3. Super cozy, clean, and comfortable with everything we could have needed. Communication was stellar from booking to check out. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful,private, well equipped cottage on pretty pond. Owners quick to respond to our texts. Relaxing hot tub and fantastic sauna! Many restaurants and breweries within a 30 minute drive. Book it ..... you won't wanna leave!

I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the lake house and couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the little getaway. It is beautifully located on the lake and has this huge window in the living room from which you have an amazing view. The house has everything you need, even washing machine and dryer in the basement. I would 100% recommend this unique place! Christine has been super helpful throughout my stay.

Perfect little Maine cabin getaway! We enjoyed our stay so much. The cabin was clean, easy to find, and had everything we needed for four people and two dogs. Cannot recommend enough!

What a beautiful and peaceful home. Spacious, comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed everything about our stay. We kayaked and even swam because the water looked so inviting in late September. Hope to come back to this home again soon.
