Very nice of a place! Had a great time.

We had a great family stay for our weekend of skiing. The Moosehead Cottage Resort is perfectly located near Greenville and only a 10 minute drive to Big Moose Mountain. The staff was super friendly and made us feel at home. The cabin (#1) was cozy and beds were comfortable. Our kids had a lot of fun at the common pool and spa area. There is some deferred maintenance in that area, but everything was functional. We had a great stay and would stay there again in the future.

Overall a incredibly lovely place to stay. WiFi worked well and was fast which is definitely a must considering there is no cell service in that area. We mainly stayed in and at the AirBNB for the trip but there’s plenty to do around in the area if that’s more your fancy. Everything was neat and tidy, clean for when we arrived. Decor, vibes, and general aesthetic and atmosphere of the house was great too.

Our family couldn't have asked for a better place for our annual reunion! The house was spacious yet cozy, offering plenty of room for everyone to relax. We loved unwinding in the hot tub after full days of skiing at Sugarloaf, which was conveniently close while still giving us that peaceful mountain retreat feel we were looking for. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with everything we needed to prepare family meals, and the house was immaculately clean upon arrival. Our kids were thrilled to discover the toys - such a thoughtful touch we weren't expecting! The hosts were responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. What made this stay truly special was how comfortable everyone felt - it really became our home away from home for the week. We've already decided this will be our go-to spot for future family ski trips. Absolutely recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Ben’s place. We loved having a fenced in yard that our pup could run around in while we sat in the hot tub. Everything was very clean and the space was incredibly relaxing and tranquil.

Great place to stay, has connector directly to the snowmobile trails, place was as described, plenty of parking, host was very responsive and provided all necessary info up front. Wish there had been more snow but that's not the fault of the resort. Will stay again!

Gorgeous apartment, hosts were very accommodating and responsive. The apartment was clean and organized. Scenic and quiet location with no disturbances!!

Matthews Trailside Cabins are clean, very new, very comfortable and wisely set up. We stayed because we were arriving late and unsure of crossing MH lake at a late hour we would stay again if same circumstances occur.

Great spot. cute house. beautiful location by the river. Nichole is a super host. If using as a base camp for snowmobiles it is almost a mile of road riding and neighbors walking or even driving by don't seem pleased.

This was our second stay at the Sugar Shack as it’s a great spot when skiing Sugarloaf. I really appreciate the well seasoned cast iron pans instead of using scratched up and flaking nonstick ones found at most Airbnbs. There are plenty of hooks to hang your ski gear. It’s also one of the few we’ve rented where I didn’t have to wash the glasses after pulling them out of the cabinet. Clearly the cleaner is very conscientious. We will definitely book again when returning to the area.

The cabin was so good that we had to go for a second visit for some spring skiing at Sugarloaf. We had a great gathering to celebrate my birthday (with permission of the host, of course. It slept and fed a bunch of us comfortably.

Had a wonderful time. Very close to relatives look forward to staying again. Original builder was quite a craftsman. Can appreciate the time & effort needed to create a home like this one.

This is our second year visiting Ralph and Kay’s cabin!! Beautiful, rustic cabin in the most peaceful area. We are looking forward to our future visits!!!

We’ve stayed here a couple of times, once under previous ownership. It was clean and a great stay for a long weekend of snowmobiling.

Cabin was the perfect size for our needs. It was clean and well appointed, like that it has 1.5 bathrooms. Easy access to the ITS trails. Heidi was easy to communicate with.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful! Right on moosehead lake easy walk down to get right to fishing! If i had any questions peter was very helpful and had no problem answering me and even texted to make sure i was having a good stay! Would definitely recommend to anyone trying to get out to moosehead!

We had a great stay at Dean's place, close to town, yet direct access to snowmobile trails. Driveway is easy to navigate if you have a large trailer. The house is as described and had everything that was needed for our stay. We spent most of our time snowmobiling but enjoyed the time we were in the cabin, and loved seeing all the deer that would visit!

We were very happy to be back! Myself and a group of friends come up once every year, we absolutely love this place! Quiet, peaceful, well lit, warm, & comfortable, it’s the perfect place to spend a weekend with good company, can’t wait for next year!

An absolute gem out in the country side. Very homey and comfortable. Sam is a wonderful host. Easy to communicate with and made sure we had a great stay.

We had a blast during our stay! We enjoyed lots of outdoor activities and adventuring. The host gave us tons of great tips on where to go and what to do. Would definitely recommend :)

Spent a long weekend at this cute little cabin. My husband and I loved it so much, we wish we could buy it! I do wish there would have been a shower instead of just a bathtub and it was dog friendly. We would love to come back every year but we have a growing family and hate to leave our furry friends behind. Overall, beautiful location, peaceful, and quite. Perfect for a getaway!

We had a great few days at Moose Run Camp (we even saw a moose up the road!) The location is right on the main road between Milo and Millinocket which is a perfect location for easy access to facilities such as groceries and laundry whilst also being close to access the back country. The camp has all modern facilities such as television, wifi and hot water with a shower. It was a perfect compromise for us, between camping in the wilderness or staying in a town centre, as we were travelling from Europe and not able to bring all that is needed for a wilderness camp. The camp had soap, toilet paper, bedding and towels we really only needed to bring food and drinking water.

We loved our time in carrabassett and loved the A frame on the water. Beautiful state & area. Highly recommend!
