Thank you for hosting us at your awesome home. It was perfect for our group of ski racing ladies! Location is great and overall the house is really, really nice!!

2nd time staying here for a guys ski weekend! everyone was stoked to stay here again! it is in great proximity to sunday river and 2 doors down from the matterhorn ski bar! hot tub was awesome and the ping pong table in the basement was fun! we did alot of cooking at the house and the kitchen and dinning room where very spacious! we all loved that log cabin feel and being in the mountains!

Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

Sherri’s place was great- our family stayed during a snow storm and we felt safe and cozy. The hot tub and string lights outside were a lovely touch- the hot tub felt new and very easy to use. Our kids enjoyed feeding the deer each day and it’s a short drive to Sugarloaf for great skiing. We’d love to come back!

A wonderful experience! The cabin is even more beautiful than the pictures! So many thoughtful touches. We loved having robes and slippers. The hot tub is fantastic - amazingly clean and with views of the mountains. The kitchen is well equipped with good quality items - even well-cared for cast iron pans. Comfortable beds with cotton sheets! All communication with hosts was wonderful. The welcome binder had great suggestions and clear instructions - we enjoyed snowshoeing at one of the recommended places. We loved our stay and hope to return!!

Look no further for your next stay in the mountains of Maine, and only a short drive from Sugarloaf. I have stayed in many Airbnbs and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. The place is exactly as described and was fully stocked with everything you’ll need throughout your stay. It has a very charming “mountain” touch and honestly was difficult to leave.. The hot tub was awesome after a day on the slopes as well. What stood out the most for us was the care, attention, & responsiveness of the hosts. They were very flexible with checking in/out. We also left a bag behind and they made it their top priority to get it shipped back to us asap. I cannot recommend this place enough! Spectacular experience from beginning to end.

We had a great stay at Carly’s cabin. The beds were comfy, everything was clean, and kitchen was well equipped. Beautiful view of Mt. Abram and lots of board games to play. Will definitely stay again!

Jamie’s cabin was the perfect peaceful mini getaway! Situated almost half way between SugarLoaf and Sunday River- it was the perfect retreat to experience both resorts and recharge at night! We arrived to a handwritten welcome card and presents for the puppies- how sweet is that?! The beds were comfy, the shower was HOT and the washer and dryer made it so easy to vacation without having chores to come home to! Would recommend to anyone!

All i can say is .. AMAZING . Small yet has everything you need. Beautiful location .. Extremely clean. Liz was amazing and always ready to answer any questions you may have. Would highly recommend. Even the pillows were great lol. Definitely going back.

This was our second stay at the Sugar Shack as it’s a great spot when skiing Sugarloaf. I really appreciate the well seasoned cast iron pans instead of using scratched up and flaking nonstick ones found at most Airbnbs. There are plenty of hooks to hang your ski gear. It’s also one of the few we’ve rented where I didn’t have to wash the glasses after pulling them out of the cabinet. Clearly the cleaner is very conscientious. We will definitely book again when returning to the area.

Such a great house for a Maine getaway. It has everything you need and beautiful views. The pellet wood stove added a great charm to the space. We all slept amazing there after skiing! Ashley and Josh were super responsive and made everything simple.

The cabin we stayed at was exactly as described and it was beautiful. It felt like home and was exactly what we were looking for. It was very updated and clean and comfortable. Definitely would stay here again!

absolutely awesome, maybe a storage of firewood would be the only possible thing to complete the stay, but not necessary as the furnace works perfectly

We had an amazing time at Tyler’s place! Very spacious, easy to find and close to downtown Bethel and Sunday River. I’d 100% stay here again!

This place was a perfect stay for a trip to Saddleback Mountain. Very close to the town center and everything else you would need around. Had some Internet troubles do to weather, but knowing the area we planned for this well. Overall very happy with my stay and couldn't recommend this place enough.

Beautiful lake and cabin, and we came at the perfect time to enjoy the foliage. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us; we couldn’t be more grateful. The place was a real charm!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Beautiful in the fall, a great getaway in the woods to be unplugged for a bit. The cabin was even nicer than I expected and if you enjoy hiking and/or disc golf this is the perfect place! There are other cabins/tree houses on the property but this one was set back nicely so it still felt private. We loved our stay and hope to be back and potentially check out some of the other cabins as well! Thank you!

Chris’s place was great for our weekend stay. Close to Bethel and Black Mountain. Perfect for two people. Clean, comfortable bed, and very peaceful.

This was our second year in a row staying here for a Sugarloaf ski trip! It's a the perfect simple, clean, comfortable home base!

Loved staying in a container home! Direct snowmobile access was so valuable. Parking seemed impossible with our 25 foot trailer at first but Matt was responsive in helping us get it straightened out. Home was clean and had the essentials we needed. :) Will definitely be back!

Host was great and a super quick responder. The house was incredibly cozy and a great place to stay for a weekend get away at Sunday River.
