We were all very impressed by the house and facilities. My grandson loved the massive tv! I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. It was perfect for us. It felt luxurious but also felt homely.

Gorgeous property in a great location, easily walkable from the train station, city centre and bus stops onto the university of Lancaster. Responsive and helpful host. comfortable beds and great facilities. Perfect for a stay with friends or a family.

Spent 3 days at the cottage. Perfect for the 2 of us. Really clear instructions provided beforehand on how to find the cottage as it is tucked away. The cottage was lovely, peaceful, and full of character, and the beds really comfortable. It's location is superb and central. Six pub/restaurants within a 5 minute walk, and the start of the Cumbria Way walk is around the corner. The WiFi is strong, (as I needed it for work). Would definitely stay again.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Sun Inn Cottage. it was right next door to the village pub. Meals at the pub were delicious. The cottage had a lovely, homely feel. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and we felt right at home. There was a wood burner, but we didn't need to make use of it as the weather in March was mild. We had a super stay and would definitely visit again.

We went for my daughter’s 30th birthday - she loved it from the moment we opened the door. The house was stunning - spotlessly clean and the decor is beautiful- there is so much space, the rooms are all large. We walked into Southport probably takes 15 mins so near enough but out as well to enjoy the tranquility. If you go in the warmer months the garden is gorgeous and you could have the added benefit of that too. We will definitely book again and recommend it - Jackie was so helpful with everything - from start to finish - could not praise it enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😀

Perfect in all aspects... communication... fantastic, especially when we arrived in sub zero temperatures. house... idyllic, clean and so quiet facilities... I own a holiday let and thought I had peaked by supplying everything, including a pickled onion fork (ok you have to be of a certain age). I realise I need to up my game further now as Jackie has raised the bar so much higher.

The place was beautiful and very welcoming . It felt like home almost immediately. It's located in a very private setting and we loved the river at the back of the property. We had a few teething issues to begin with as we had a wasps nest outside and the occasional power outage when the switch tripped on the fuse box but the host, Cheryl, was very quick to respond and helped resolve things straight away. She even offered to give us an extra day for free but because we had work the next day the option of a late checkout instead was very welcome. I would highly recommend this place and Cheryl was absolutely fantastic! Thank you Cheryl!

Lovely spacious ground floor apartment in a gated Georgian Building full of character. I stayed with a female friend and we felt safe and secure at all times and the bonus of parking for two cars is a rare find in Clitheroe. The welcome goods on arrival plus milk in the fridge were a nice touch too. I am familiar with Clitheroe as I shop there but have never stayed overnight but would do again definitely as there are lots of good places to eat and drink such as Holmes Mill, The Emporium and Wills Restaurant to name but a few. Also some nice independent shops too. My friend is from Scotland and she cant wait to return. There are also several excellent restaurants a short drive from Clitheroe too. The Ribble Valley offers lots to explore and some great scenery. Well worth a visit is the Melt Candle company in Waddington which is a ten minutes drive away. Tina is a great host and happy to help with anything and keeps in touch with you. I would definitely recommend you stay here.

Rachel's apartment is beautiful. Easy to park across from the flat. The living area has plenty of comfortable seating, large dining table and well equipped kitchen. The large bathroom has a fantastic shower and lovely free standing bath tub. Three of the bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds- i have to say that the bed linens smelt divine! The fourth bedroom has a single bed but still roomy. Everywhere was scrupulously clean and beautifully presented. The only thing to be aware of is the number of stairs but my dad managed ok(88yrs). Location is great as a five minute walk from the town centre. There is also a Sainsbury's across the road and a lovely park behind the flat. Rachel was very quick to respond to any questions and check in/out straightforward. I would highly recommend staying here as location is great and the flat is exceptional

Our first visit to the Lake District and I’m so glad we chose to stay at Robins, it was easy to find, parking spot out the front, SO central, just a couple of minutes walk down to the strip of Ambleside which had a variety of cafes, bars and shops, but was tucked away enough that it was such a peaceful stay. The location also had plenty of local walks and fells to choose from, we were spoiled. We only stayed for 4 days but had plenty to do and really felt like we experienced what the Lake District had to offer. The accommodation was clean and cosy, the bed was arguably better than our own and the open fire was perfect for relaxing in the evening with a glass of wine. Thanks again!

Stayed before and as before fantastic little place, went over for a china crisis gig at pub next door perfect location and perfect pub/gig venue, lovely host had the pleasure of meeting Julie and Peter fab couple will definitely be back so as.

What can we say other than what a great find….. well that’s just the start, Deborah was a lovely host, the place was beautiful, spotless and very conveniently located for the beach, town and other local amenities. On top of that we could take our dog……

Absolutely loved our stay in The Architects Loft! Everything was so well thought out, great design. Fantastic area, helpful hosts and the room was immaculate. 10/10!

This is the second time I have stayed at the studio. It is a lovely little place, compact but with everything you need in a very beautiful and convenient spot. Carol and Margaret are very helpful and friendly it is always a pleasure to stay in their beautiful flat. Thank you for being so welcoming and accomodating.

Very clean, beautiful place to stay, would stay here again in future for sure 100% recommend for anyone else looking to stay here. Place is close to north pier and very quiet even at weekends its not very noisy

Would highly recommend this stay. Check in was easy and the home is beautiful. For a 1 bedroom villa the space you have is vast with a homely living area and fantastic kitchen space and amenities. The bedroom is wonderful combining a country house with a highly modern bath and shower. Hot tub with a TV is fantastic. Walking into Bowness-on-Windermere is only 10 minutes too. Staff were around on a couple of occasions and were always chatty, welcoming and accommodating. We will be staying again. Thank you so much.

If you want a relaxing lake house with a view I couldn't think of anywhere better, myself and 5 friends had the most relaxing time. The view is stunning, the hot tub is great and the amenities in the house all work well, very modern but don't take away from rustic nature of the place. Communication with the hosts was really good from Paul and Victoria and the brochure they sent out before hand answered every question before I could even ask, highly recommend if you need a break.

A wonderful half term long weekend with our teenagers. Super quiet location, but close enough to Lancaster to make a dash into the city easy. Smashing property with jus the right mixture of character and modernity. Will be back.

Really brilliant place. Lovely house and great amenities. Really well stocked (unusual to have such good wine glasses!!). Well def use again!

We had a great stay. The house was in a beautiful location, right on the estuary. Plenty of beach for walking. Beds were comfy and ample linen and towels were provided plus a great welcome hamper. The games room provided hours of entertainment and the hot tub was lovely for relaxing in after a busy day. The nearby rock park/quarry was a really interesting day out. We also enjoyed a meal out at the King William IV in Kirksanton. Jenny was a great host and was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Loughrigg Cottage! The house was clean, cozy, and perfectly located for exploring the Lake District. The hot tub was a highlight: perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The hosts were responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Jerry was super responsive and responded within minutes whenever we needed something, which was really appreciated (even around midnight 😅). The house is beautiful, very well furnished. Hot tub was a favourite and the river is incredibly scenic.
