We had planned a family trip with dogs but due to a family emergency we ended up with one adult and one 8 year old kid. So we didn't use the yard or pet amenities but I can tell it would have been perfect for our dogs. Things we loved -The walk to the beach was actually shorter than we expected. -The beds were soooooooo comfy! -So many extra useful things in the pantry, cabinets and laundry. -The location was very private and quiet. Keep in mind that this is an older house with what appears to be DIY renovations that are a bit quirky and may not be as polished as some other rentals in the area. However, I still think it's a great deal for a family with dogs!

We enjoyed our stay. It was very spacious, the kitchen had everything & then some more (we love to cook). Nice quiet neighborhood, we took walks around. It's a 15 minute drive to the first public beach access on Emerald Isle, which is a big plus. We'll stay again sometime.

Little House on the Beach was everything we had hoped for. The home was just the right size for my husband and me with our two small dogs. The furniture, two rockers on porch and the beds were VERY comfortable. The kitchen was the best stocked of any vacation home we've ever rented, both in kitchenware and pots along with all the basics.....dish soap, spices, hand towels, etc. But the highlight of this home is the back deck and view. Soooo very relaxing as you watch the waves and the birds with all the natural ocean sounds . And incredible sunsets and sunrises. I love that you walk down the back steps and are on the beach and that the beach itself is very peaceful with people playing with their dogs or collecting shells. No loud music or crowds. Would highly recommend this home and hope to come back next year.

It’s always good when you can find a place like home when you are away from home. Patricia and David were great host. I would recommend them and book with them again in the future.

Our family stayed at the home to welcome our Camp Lejeune Marine home from deployment. We enjoyed the space and the home was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Brandon was more than accommodating and easy to reach with any questions. We would love to stay there for future visits.

Very satisfied with the host we had a little hiccup, but they were right on top of it. Great communication, the whole step of the way. Everything about the trip was great. Had enough space for me and my family to enjoy our Christmas dinner and to run and play with the kids and the dog in the yard, very quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors

Shanon’s place was so cute and comfortable. The house is located in a neighborhood that feels very safe. We took a walk and everyone that passed by waved and smiled. The house was very clean and updated. The kitchen was fully stocked. We had everything to cook meals. Our two teens loved the game room. We felt close to the beach, the bases, and shopping. We really enjoyed the place and highly recommend and hope to come back.

This is the second time we have stayed with this company, the first was at the Key West location in a Surf City. Surf City is a place time and time again we chose to come back to, but we have found that these specific properties are the BEST! They’re so accommodating and we opted for this one this time and it was beyond worth it and seamless. As always, the host was clear, nice, and accommodating! Highly recommend staying here, you can’t beat the location!

We only stayed one night but really enjoyed our stay. We are a family of 4 and there was enough space for us. My boys enjoyed the pool even though the water was still a bit cold. We loved sitting on the dock in the morning and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

We’ve stayed at this location a number of times, always a great stay; that’s why we look for it every time we come to Morehead. This was our first visit since the remodel/reno work has been done. Great cozy place to stay. Bath and kitchen very well supplied. Comfy bed and furniture. Everything makes you feel right at home. Easy in and out location with downtown a quick drive away. Would certainly stay here again.

This place was perfect for our family weekend getaway. The place was spotless when we got there, cleaner than most hotels we’ve stayed at lately.. The location was perfect with lots to do around in Atlantic beach, Beaufort, Morehead City, and Emerald Isle. The beach was such a short easy walk away. Teresa & Ted were great host, very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend to stay here, will definitely stay here again!

We just completed our third stay with Marilyn. Our family absolutely loves this spot. It's so nice that our family of 6 can fit fairly comfortably and it's especially great that there are two full bathrooms. We also love how well kept the property grounds are, as well as how easy it is to get to the beach. We just got home a little while ago and my 4 teens are already talking about planning our next trip! Thank you Marilyn!

Very nice place and the bed was extremely comfortable. Plenty of extras and it was a short walk to the beach. The area was very clean and very safe feeling. Grocery store, restaurants ice cream souvenirs all within a mile away. Host was excellent, in communication and very friendly. Definitely recommend.

Diane’s condo was absolutely amazing. The ocean view was spectacular. The condo was spacious, uncluttered, and exceptionally clean. Diane was extremely easy to communicate with and responded quickly to all of my emails. I would definitely chose to stay at Diane’s property again.

The location was wonderful! The unit was well equipped and made for a great weekend getaway with my husband and elderly parents. I’ve stayed in a different unit before and wanted to stay again since my parents would be with me because there is an elevator and my mom can’t climb stairs. Everything was clean and comfortable. It has a well furnished kitchen and overall it was perfect. I didn’t have to communicate with the host which attests to the clear instructions left. I would definitely come back!

One minute walk to the beautiful Atlantic beach. Next to the Fort Macon state park. Very convenient and quiet place. Have the ocean view. Very nice host!
