The house lived up to the description and offering. Very nice location for our gathering. Living space on the top floor with bedrooms on the middle and bottom floors. Megan is very proactive in her communications and helpful with quick responses. Thank you for making our experience exceptional.

Jenna was very nice and helpful. When asking for boat rentals, she had great recommendations. She was very responsive to any questions and very timely with them as well. I love the location and private dock. Everything was perfectly up to expectations and even exceeded any idea I had about the place. A perfect split of privacy and proximity to everything you need. Thank you Jenna, I’d love to stay here again!

This was our second year to stay at Hartley's place and let me tell you, this place is perfect for us! It's close to where we want to stay but it is so convenient with the living room, kitchen, full bathroom, laundry room and screened in porch upstairs as you walk in the front door. Downstairs are 2 private bedrooms and a full bed in the living area and a full bath. And, the only steps you have to climb from the dock to your house are in the AC!! It's great for seniors, families and it fits our needs exactly. We have already booked a week for next year, same time, that's how much we love it! I’m not sure where to begin!! This place will not disappoint, not only is this home spacious and unique, the view right off your back doorstep is beyond beautiful. It fit my husband and two year old, my parents, brothers and my grandma and uncle perfectly. The house is so spacious, I never felt as if we were on top of each other. There was plenty of room for all of us. The home was very clean, actually probably the most clean stay I’ve ever had. The host is so kind and incredibly easy to communicate with. She answered every question I had and she recommended things to do in the area. The dock right off the back door is wonderful, my husband and I fished for most of the time. We caught, bass, crappie, spotted catfish and blue catfish. I would recommend checking out the sunrise, it was so peaceful. My family and I hope to be back again soon! Thanks for the amazing stay!!!

Our entire experience was one of the best. Easy communication but most important the location is great. There were only two of us which reading the description one may think the house is too big…not even close. The house is perfect for larger groups and for two people. Everything you need is on one floor for the kitchen, living room, dining and bathroom with a direct shot out the door, down the stairs and to the lake. Everything you need is provided especially in the kitchen which we ate more at the house than we did out at restaurants. We were there at what appears to be the beginning of off peak season which made the lake the perfect place to fish, kayak (they provide) and to kick back and relax. We had an amazing week at Castaway Bay and the hosts are amazing and everything is provided so well we really did not have much to connect with them on. I highly recommend this location for the lazy week vacation or to enjoy the lake in the summer. It is a great place to stay.

Our family enjoyed a great weekend here! The house itself is stocked with everything you could really need. We loved the dock- the kayak, paddleboard, slide, etc. Made for fun days swimming and hanging out. We rented a boat and brought that to the dock easily. If you are looking for a fun getaway for a family, I’d totally recommend this place! Thanks so much!

We came for a Thanksgiving getaway and the house couldn’t have been more perfect. It was beautiful and serene and everything we hoped for. We loved playing all of the games in the closet and spent lots of family time by the fire. The rental company was very helpful and responsive before, during and at checkout. Absolutely beautiful spot to unwind and take in the peace and quiet of the lake. The cabin was beautifully decorated, pristine, with a well-stocked kitchen and lovely lakefront views. Hosts were amazing, attentive and accommodating ! Highly recommend this spot for your next getaway!

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely perfect! My fiancé and I booked it to celebrate our anniversary during the winter, and it couldn’t have been more magical. The space was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The views were breathtaking - especially enjoying peaceful mornings! It was truly unforgettable. Every detail was perfect, and we couldn’t have wished for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway!

My parents and sister and brother in law stayed here with their kids, right next door to us. It's the perfect house with the perfect view. It helps that it's right next door to my family! ;) Joe & Laura are very accommodating and very communicative. They reply right away, are super helpful, and their house is the cutest! It was perfect! I am sure we will rent it out again in the future!

We had a very nice time at the cottage. The only thing I would suggest is fix the top two concrete steps leading down to the house. Other than that it was nice.

We loved our stay at Katie's place! The location was very peaceful and the windows along the entire length of the house allowed us to take in the view regardless of the weather. The house was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. Everything was well labeled with helpful instructions and Katie provided a very thorough guide to area restaurants, attractions, and services. Katie was extremely responsive and communicated proactively. This was our second stay and we hope to stay again! Highly recommend!!

This was the perfect getaway before heading back to school. We used all the amenities and love having a dock and having the lake so accessible ! The cabin itself was a mix of rustic and eclectic and just worked well for our family. The description was accurate. Osage Beach/Bagnell Dam was about 25 min. Highly recommend The Ice Cream Factory in Eldon btw! It was a nice end to our summer.

We enjoyed our stay in the Carin cabin it was cute and cozy. We were going for warmer weather but used the little wood stove making it cozy and warm. We enjoyed the hot tub. The breakfast casserole Hannah prepared for us was delicious. The cabin was clean and we had everything we needed.

Amazing cabin. Exactly as described... Rustic. Location on lake is perfect (relaxed & remote).. with a 10-15 min drive to night life if desired. Sondra was very responsive/friendly. Family really enjoyed the included games, grill, pier, kayaks, etc. Great experience/weekend getaway.

Everything was absolutely terrific! The perfect location for a quick yet wonderful getaway. Camping, without the work or uncomfortable arrangements. The owners sincerely went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and taken care of. 🩷
