My family and I booked this place last minute, and it was great! It was a very private, peaceful location with very scenic views. The location was great as it was 10 minutes from the grocery stores, and not too much further for the main hiking destinations. We also explored on the huge property. This is the first time we brought our dog on a vacation, and they had bowls, treats and toys already set up for him to make him feel right at home. The host Katie was really responsive as well and was able to provide local fishing holes and baseball fields to get practice in. Would definitely go back.

Wild Honey Cabin is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed hiking at the parks, making meals in the well-appointed kitchen and playing games in the evening around the large dining table. It was perfect for our family vacation.

Cabin was awesome, perfect location, very close to the scenic trails. Super clean and had everything we needed. It was obvious that the owners are very detail oriented. Loved the wood burning fire place. The hot tub was awesome, very clean and user friendly. The mattresses were very comfy. Definitely would go back and would recommend to friends.

This was our second stay at Verde Grove Cabins (we stayed in Sycamore around Thanksgiving). We enjoyed the view out the kitchen windows of Oink (dense forest). Loved the hot tub and was able to cook all of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. Old Man’s Cave wasn’t too far away for a nice family outing. Planning to visit again in the fall!

My stay was amazing! He had so many extras that showed this host is very thoughtful. Hiking right out the front door! Beautiful and very clean space.

Great location close to Ohio University campus. House is spacious, clean, and has everything needed for a family or group. We enjoyed the hot tub and would have used the fire out had it not been so cold.

Our family stayed a few nights and we felt right at home. The cabin was clean, comfortable, well stocked and very inviting. The backyard was great and they had plenty of firewood. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband, 3 children and I had an absolutely wonderful stay! Karen is a wonderful, gracious host and truly goes above and beyond. She stopped by and made sure we knew where everything was and answered any questions we had! She made sure the kids had plenty of toys/books and even left them some snacks, making sure what we allowed our children to have first. It was a no screen weekend for us, and no cell signal made it all the better!! We hiked around her stunning property, watched the sunset over the icy pond, built a few fires and cooked dinner over them each night. We cannot wait to come back this summer! We made a weekend filled with core memories for our kiddos and wonderful memories for us. Thank you so much Karen, can’t wait to come back!

This is the sense one time I have stayed here and the configuration of the bedrooms have improved since the first stay. There is plenty of space for everyone

We have rented cabin the past 2 years. Beautiful cabin. We enjoy the large dinner table for our card games and family dinner. We had a lot of fun playing corn hole, pool, and ping- pong. We had outdoor fire and enjoyed the hot tub. Close to the caves too. We look forward to returning next year!

Our stay at Mara‘s cabin was wonderful! The cabin is extremely dog friendly. She has so many nice touches, including dog bowls, dog beds, dog treats, and so many toys. Our dogs were so happy. She had lots of great recommendations for hikes and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit and watching the beautiful stars. We also enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the porch swing . It was very clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We highly recommend!

We have 3 kids - ages 9, 7 and 5, they LOVED staying here and did not want to leave. We loved the surroundings, did puzzles they had available as a family! The morning farm chores and tour was a highlight of the trip. We are made delicious eggs right from the farm for breakfast! The hosts were so friendly, down to earth and fun to talk with. I will be recommending this to friends!

We came to the area on a Girls Trip. After a long day of Covered Bridges and Wineries, the A-Frame was perfect. Easy to get to, peaceful surroundings, and comfortable beds. As two females traveling, we felt safe.

What a place! So hard to find something that adults, kids, and dogs are happy at. They've added so much personal touch, it's impossible not to feel relaxed and comfortable here. Two extremely minor things- write down or screen shot the code for the door before you exit the highway as there is no service! Once inside, there is wifi but it's not good for streaming or anything similar. And two, pack your own tumblers, everything here is glass (for the hot tub of course!)

This was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway. We were close enough to stores, restaurants and the trails, of course! The cabin was absolutely beautiful, cozy, and homey. We enjoyed barbecuing, cooking and relaxing. The hot tub at the end of the day was a great way to unwind. We will be coming back. This is such a cute little get away. Not only was it clean but it had everything that we needed. What was an extra bonus is that everyone that passes you on a walk that lives there waves at you which makes you feel very welcome. We would like to come back when we can use the lake as it's just a really short walk. I will recommend to my friends!

We loved staying at this cabin we definitely will come back in the future .Lynn made us a cake for us while we was there which was awesome it’s an older cabin but its in really good shape I absolutely loved it

I was looking for a secluded getaway in the woods, and that's exactly what I got. Although you are close to a road, there's hardly any traffic. I just needed a place to rest and recharge in nature, and this was perfect. Kevin and Stephanie were extremely helpful when I arrived, and went out of their way to make me feel at home. I only stayed for a few nights, but I had bonfires both nights, and Kevin even offered to get the fires going for me. They live close by in case you need anything, but it's still very private where you are. I think this was the one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Whether you're a hiker, a hunter, or enjoy riding ATVs, this is the perfect place to stay with Wayne National Forest at your doorstep.

Had a great time at this cabin. Nicole was very nice and an amazing host. I will be recommending this to other people!

This place was an amazing getaway for my family and the river was beautiful. We would love to go back during the summer.

We had a great weekend at the cabin! Even though it was cold outside the cabin was warm and cozy. We loved the easy access to the lake and trail and hiked several miles. Our dog Hamilton also loved the cabin and we loved that he could be included. Planning a return visit with two of our grandsons in the summer for some fishing!

We very much enjoyed the cabin and especially the location. House was as advertised, outside fire pit area was awesome, hiking in the area was great. This property is super Private and super quiet, nice for a relaxing weekend. Highly Recommended.
