I have stayed at many AirBnBs but none have been as pleasant as this. It really felt more like staying at a friends house, where they had thoughtfully left out everything you might need. Great Cacapon is a beautiful place, and this house provides amazing views to take in that beauty. We had a wonderful time enjoying West Virginia hikes and then coming back the the house to relax and share good meals. I cannot recommend this house enough, it was the perfect place to get away with some friends for a relaxing weekend.

We have stayed many times at Jake’s place and always had a positive experience! Location: peaceful, beautiful outdoors, lots of privacy. The home: lovely fireplace, beds and linens are comfy! House is clean and cozy. Likely the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept it. The kids love: the bunk beds, the indoor pool And the chess table. We will definitely return. Thank you Jake!

Our stay here was truly amazing! Beautiful home with so much inside for us we didn't even need to leave! The hot tub was awesome! We had a minor hiccup which was resolved very quickly. Responses were prompt and everyone was very nice. We will be back :)

Susan’s home was immaculate - the house was even more beautiful and more private than the pictures — truly a mountain escape! We had a little difficulty with the garage code upon arrival, but Susan was immediately available and helped us get right into the house. We were thrilled with the quiet privacy, beautiful mountain surroundings, and the gorgeous interior. We loved the ability to run the wood stove on the colder nights (it even snowed the first evening we were there), the hot tub overlooking a rocky outcrop, and the pool table downstairs. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and more. Berkeley Springs was a little further than I initially anticipated, but getting there was an easy drive down a main road. Susan helped us with recommendations for things to do, since the weather didn’t cooperate with our original plans to hike. Be aware that the road to the house is a long mountain road and a little rough in the winter.

My daughter and I stayed here for a weekend getaway, and it was absolutely perfect. I loved that the house was on a cul-de-sac so it felt even more private. The views were fantastic and the layout of the house was perfect. Love that the giant windows faced the backyard. Everything was peaceful and so relaxing. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed to cook our meals. The home was clean and felt very safe. The fire pit was perfect in the evenings, especially with the string lights. The resort is a short nine minute drive and we enjoyed going over there to play pickle ball and check out the giant book wall and puzzles that they have available. Lou was a very responsive and friendly host. He gave me clear and helpful instructions for check-in and check out and everything we would need to know during our stay. I’ve added both of his properties to my wish list and my family and I, and even my book club, will definitely be coming back.

The place was great, peaceful, comfortable. Amenities were as described. Great for a cozy girls weekend!
