Fantastic family accommodation. Beautiful views & stylish but practical interior. Lots for kids to do inside the house (for bad weather days!). Would highly recommend and we hope to stay there again if we come back to Iceland in the future!

Amazing cabin surrounded by beautiful mountains. Leszek was a great host, easy to communicate, very friendly and flexible. Cabin is more that we could imagine, very clean and beautiful decorated. Definitely recommend ❤️

This house was perfect. The hostesses met us when we arrived, gave us instructions on things they wanted us to make sure we knew (for safety and such due to the temperatures), and spent around 2 hours giving us a tour and history of the house. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed and they were so thoughtful with all of their recommendations for activities with our children. We 100% recommend this house to others and we will be coming back in the future!

Great communication, beautiful home. We had everything we needed. Views were amazing. Close to lots of stores and restaurants. Klara was a gracious host, very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We plan to come back in the summer next year and will stay here again. We really enjoyed Asa's place. It was very clean and had everything you would need: dishes, utensils, a book with detailed instructions on every major appliance in the house. Asa responded quickly to our queries and was very nice over messages, we did not see each other face to face. We would love to be back some day 🙂

The pictures for this house do it no justice - the place is absolutely beautiful! Very spacious with tons of light. Incredibly clean. Heated tile floors which keep the whole house warm. Ólafur is very hospitable. He provides thorough instructions and is super responsive if you have any additional questions. (We learned when using the stove/hot plate that you have to put a pan on it first so it can heat because there needs to be weight present to activate.) Our flights arrived early in the morning and he let us check in early and check out an hour late. We had an amazing time in Iceland and when we return we will be booking this house. Een prachtige locatie op een heuvel waardoor je mooie uitzichten hebt. Het huisje is ruim opgezet, ruime veranda en luxe jacuzzi waarvan je mooi uitzicht hebt. Wij waren hier tijdens onze huwelijksreis en ik was ook nog eens jarig tijdens dit verblijf. Wij vonden het geweldig dat hier iets leuks voor was gedaan :)

Jette’s house is ideally located to get into Reykjavík and to get out into the absolutely stunning countryside. Located just of the motorway But well soundproofed and superbly insulated you certainly won’t get cold. Jette stayed in contact just enough but felt approachable at the same time. Plenty of grocery shops around so you can cook in the well equipped kitchen. By car it takes about 5-10 mins to get into the old town. Have fun.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, even allowing us to check in super early. The house was spotless, and the host provided us with all the details about local events, making our visit even more enjoyable. Just a heads up—this is someone's home, so there were a couple of rooms with kids' toys that we had to keep an eye on to make sure our little ones didn't wander in. It wasn't an issue for us, but it's something to be mindful of if you're traveling with children. Overall, a perfect listing and we loved our time here!

Helgi's place is a lovely home in an excellent location - shops within walking distance and a good bus service into town nearby, as well as being a peaceful and leafy neighbourhood. Excellent facilities including a hot tub, which the kids enjoyed! The Open Air Museum is a pleasant walk away by the river, very interesting. For a special treat, ask Helgi to put you in touch with Pétur Helgason, who gave us a private tour of some of Iceland's most iconic sights in his minibus. Helgi was extremely helpful, and answered all our questions very promptly. Five stars all round!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The space was ample for our family of five, allowing everyone to have their own room and privacy. The included parking was a huge plus, especially in a city where parking can be a challenge. Our host was very welcoming upon arrival, making us feel at home right away. The only minor drawbacks were that check-in felt a bit lengthy after a long flight, and a few appliances could use some upgrades—our toaster worked inconsistently, the coffee machine's water compartment leaked, and we had some initial confusion with the dishwasher. That said, these were small inconveniences in an otherwise excellent stay. The home was comfortable, well-located, and well-suited for a family. We would highly recommend it!

Our stay was perfect, the house was cozy and fully equipped with everything for cooking. Grocery store within walking distance with near by restaurants/bars. Great central location to excursions. Nice neighborhood, very very clean bathroom and kitchen. Our host was very responsive very fast. We will definitely be staying here again.

Beautiful surroundings , the accommodation was expensive but Iceland is expensive everywhere . Beds really comfy, and house was lovely and warm with stunning views of the city .

We had such a great stay at Vive’s. Firstly, the house is exactly as described. All the rooms, and more Importantly the beds were super clean and very comfortable. The house is spacious and located in a very beautiful and serene neighborhood which is like a 5 to 7 min drive to downtown Reykjavik. We walked along the beautiful bay that’s literally right behind the house, and kids enjoyed playing at a cute playground right next to the bay. Vive had several nice toys which kept the kids entertained at home. The hot tub was great to spend late evenings with friends with a few drinks. Vive was super responsive and helped with any questions we had! I would definitely recommend her place and would stay here again when I come back again to Iceland!

Beautiful, clean, well maintained home in a convenient location close to all the Golden Circle highlights. The view from the living room is very scenic. Steini was a very responsive and communicative host. We had a great winter stay at this home.

A beautiful home near Reykjavik (10 min drive) & conveniently located near highways for easy travel. Extremely clean and comfortable, amenities as described, amazing back porch and hot tub — felt right at home! Guðjón and his family were incredible hosts and made our first trip to Iceland a VERY special one! Shout out to Tommy & Tia, the house cats — we fell in love! Thank you again for everything; we cannot wait to return!

This place was perfect! 4 adult and 4 kids. It was absolutely beautiful home and the owners were so responsive and helpful. The house is walking distance to food markets and some restaurants and only 20 min drive from downtown Reykjavik. Walking trails all along the area. We could not have picked a better place to stay for our visit to Iceland, highly recommend this place!

Stefan was a great, communicative host with an amazing rural property. Conveniently located around 15 mins from Selfoss, which has a bunch of shops, restaurants, etc amd well placed for scenic drives to loads of beautiful locations across the SW of Iceland and beyond. The house was amazing and felt brand new. I would reccommend this to any group of friends or couples who want a peaceful, private stay in beautiful surroundings.

Una was an excellent host, she always responded to our communications promptly. Checking in was a breeze no hassles, her instructions were clear and accurate. Location was absolutely perfect close to everything including shops, groceries, restaurants and bars. The house was truly charming cozy and very very clean. It was very comfortable and relaxing staying there. I would definitely consider staying there if I visited Reykjavík again in future.
