Sue was such an attentive and helpful host! She went above and beyond in many ways... She made breakfast every morning and insisted on doing all the dishes, brought my laundry in before it could get rained on, dropped me off at the bus station, and gave me lots of great advice for things to do during my stay. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable, and I slept great. Her house is an eclectic mix of interesting things, I recommend reading some of the posters and cards on the walls! Her garden is beautiful and she maintains it wonderfully. The location is conveniently accessed by bus, but kind of a long walk from downtown, and uphill. I stayed for 5 days and was very happy with my time there!

My stay at Peter’s lovely home was wonderful. Absolutely beautiful historic home. Comfortable and clean. Very private space and walkable into the CBD. It’s an uphill walk back, but there’s a convenient city bus (63) that will drop you just a few minutes away. Highly recommend.

Fantastic view of Dunitin city. Comfortable and warm, well preparation before our arrival. If I visit Dunitin again in future, I'll stay here again.

Our second time staying at Paula’s. We stayed longer this time and were able to really enjoy and appreciate everything it has to offer. It is such a bright and cheerful cottage with a large sunny deck which we utilised for morning coffee in the sun and bbq’s in the evening. We had family visit and grandchildren were able to explore the surroundings. They all felt they were on holiday even though they lived five minutes away. All this was enhanced by bird song and lavender. I would highly recommend.

Was beautiful view. Small but great size for my partner and I. Homely feeling to the place. Very convenient for us. Paul is always fast to reply and very contactable. We really appreciate being able to stay 5 weeks in this home. Would definitely recommend.

The house is comfortable and is located in a nice place. Tony is really kind.

Our hosts & their Manager Jo were incredibly responsive / pro-active. Jo even let me know I'd left a piece of clothing behind, and I was able to pick it up before we departed from Dunedin (thanks Jo!). The location is absolutely perfect - away from the hustle & bustle of the Octagon, but very walkable, and only a 5 minute walk away from both the Octagon and almost all the local attractions. Even though it's situated by a busy road, we found that the suite was quiet. The suite was spotless and we loved the way it had been renovated & designed. Recommendations for restaurants were outstanding, and we had excellent food at all of them. A definite 5/5!

Great apartment! Not too far to walk to The Octagon. Great cafes in the warehouse district - short walk from accom. Has everything you need. Very lovely place to stay- would stay again.

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, and what a wonderful space we had above the double garage. Lovely views over the harbour, and a quiet tranquil rural space to unwind. It was a great one night getaway, with the charming town of Port Chalmers just a short drive away where we explored the beautiful art scene in the main street, and the amazing Maritime Museum. We would recommend for a short or longer stay. Thank you to Trixie and Mark for their awesome hospitality.

I stayed here in one of the coldest months of the year, and the room was a little cold at the beginning. However, Joyce was very helpful and and easy to talk to, and she provided an extra blanket, a better heater, and a winter cap which helped me immensely in coping with the temperature (in fact I didn't feel cold at all after that). Thank you so much.

I very much enjoyed my 2 nights at apt 4 of the terminus. The apartment was sparkling, well equipped and located within walking distance to a variety of stores, restaurants, museums, the wildlife tour depot and other sights. Antonia was proactive in meeting my needs, gave good instructions and was very responsive to my questions. She provided breakfast for my first morning there which made for a smooth start to the visit. If I ever get back to Dunedin I would definitely stay there!

Great place to work from for the week I was in Dunedin, close to city centre and amenities. Had everything I needed and then some. Plenty of on street parking and easy instructions to get into the house. I recommend staying here, Christine was responsive and gave great instructions.

We loved the city appartement in a industrial style. It was very spacious and modern. We didn't use the kitchen but it seemed to be well equiped.

We had a great stay and would recommend Bill's place to anyone who wants to visit Dunedin.

Pippa was an amazing host, she provided excellent facilities, and lots of yummy treats. Really loved the glass of rosé in the evening. The rooms were warm, it was cosy. Amazing views of the valley. Her animals and gardens were stunning. Highly recommend a stay here!

We had the most wonderful time at Sally’s and Keri’s place. It is located in beautiful surroundings, lots of nature and places to visit the sea and take a walk. The hot tub should win an award for “most beautiful view from a hot tub”. With unmatched hospitality, great breakfast and the friendliest dog we can not recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for having us!

Staying with John and his partner was a God send! No other places were available and John went over and above to make room for us to stay so we didn't need to stay in a shared dorm room at a backpackers. His place was clean, comfortable, and cute. We had our own rooms and bathroom. John even made a delicious plum cake with plums from his garden that he shared with us. He also had amazing food recommendations! We really enjoyed and hugely appreciated our stay.

Margatet’s castle is a piece of art in beautiful Aramoana!!! Makes you feel like in a fairy tail. Margaret was very nice, sharing lots of information on Aramoana and the beautiful beaches around. Thanks to her instructions I was able to find the local Yellow Eyed Penguin, quite a sight. I highly recommend this place.

I recommend staying here, Deborah and Alistair are super hosts! Welcoming and considerate to guests. I appreciated their quick acceptance of our last-minute request, made when our planned accommodations unexpectedly fell through. This has been our favourite home to stay in. There's a beautiful view of the water from their living room and deck. Deborah and Alistair are interesting and fun conversationalists. Their home is open, airy, clean, and comfortable to be in. Comfortable bed. We were welcome to come and go as we wanted, and to make use of the shared living room, dining room, and kitchen. Everything was in great shape. Thank You Both for hosting us.

Einfach wunderbar. Airbnb wie es gedacht ist! Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben uns vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Doug und Rosi sind zwei äußerst nette Menschen und wir hatten viele tolle Gespräche und eine gute Zeit. Das Frühstück war einfach auch super 👍🏼 wir konnten richtig relaxen und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.

This was a real hidden gem! Sally and Kerry made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. There were lots of beautiful beaches and walks within walking or easy driving distance, with amazing wildlife.
