Sehr großzügige Räumlichkeiten in einer ruhigen, sicheren Gegend. Die 4 Schlafzimmer sind alle sehr wohnlich eingerichtet mit tollem Schlafkomfort, TV’s und spektakulärem Ausblick. In der Küche bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Auch im Aussenbereich gibt es viele gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten und Grillstationen, mehr als man überhaupt nutzen kann. Wir haben immer die vollverglaste große Aussenterasse genossen. Der private Aufzug ist eine angenehme Hilfe um Gepäck und Einkäufe hochzubringen. Wir selbst haben mit Freuden die 71 Stufen als kleine Trainingeinheit genutzt. 2 Parplätze stehen unten neben dem Eingang zur Verfügung. Debra war in der Kommunikation zu uns vorbildlich. Nach 13 Tagen sind wir nur ungern abgereist.

This place is a must. it is a beautiful place, location, host and staff at hand at a drop of a hat. This was my first time in South Africa and everything could not have gone any better. Patricia the host and her husband were so helpful with excellent communication throughout our time from booking until we had finished. They gave excellent recommendations and even assisted us in booking amazing golf courses (the best we had ever played and we were a bunch of experienced golfers. They truly were the best hosts so much so we met them a few times throughout our stay. Honestly, we all had the best time ever and that was down to our tremendous hosts, place and location. You will not be disappointed if you book this place. We will all be back and hope to stay in touch for you to come and play some golf in our country. Thank you so much. Fantastic holiday and never to be forgotten memories for our first time in your amazing country. You were the best. Best wishes always top hosts.

The place is beautiful, but you gonna freeze to death there, no heaters, and they got electricity problem, you gonna stay in darkness for straight 6hrs, the back up batteries doesn’t work, the fact that the full house has only 2 bathroom was a huge turn off, rooms are not ensuit… Host is very rude, they don’t care about guest, she kicks you out when it’s 10 on the day of check out.. we won’t go back there

Best Airbnb or any place for that matter we have ever stayed. Words and pictures can't describe how amazing the house, view and tranquility is. From the glass doors and windows that open up and disappear into the walls to the decor and amenities... nothing was missed. The road to the place is mentioned, Warren will meet you and guide you through the gates. The path is steep, and windy, only 4km, and is paved with 2 track pavers, passable with any car, 4WD is not necessary. It was one of the most fun parts. As for Warren, salt of the earth... I heard how warm and welcoming the Eastern Cape people are, Warren is so welcoming, friend for life kind of guy! If you stay for anything less than 3 days you will be very disappointed. 5 Star all the way. Thank you for sharing your little slice of paradise.

Our principle contact was Jonathan who couldn’t have done more for us, a superb host who lives nearby. The property is well equipped throughout and located in a safe residential area just 200m from the estuary. We spent 24 wonderful days there. One point is that internal access to the upstairs is by a rather narrow spiral staircase which might not suit all ie elderly but for others ie children a point of excitement. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending both the property and hosts as a wonderful home to relax and unwind in. We’ve only found one other to match!

It was the perfect 5 day breakaway for our family of four. The house felt like a home away from home. Everything you want is there and available. Eldest son could play golf each day. Losts of walkways to explore. We enjoyed the restaurant at the main clubhouse. George, the onsite caretaker was very friendly and helpful. Golf carts to rent at the house is a great plus. Heralds Bay beach a short drive away. Would love to stay here again.

Wij hebben enorm genoten van het verblijf bij Wendy en James. Ten eerste waren Wendy en James geweldige hosts en toen we vertrokken was het alsof we hele goede vrienden verlieten. Ten tweede was de locatie boven op de berg met een geweldig uitzicht en rust fenomenaal. Ten derde was de accommodatie geweldig: luxe, schoon en geweldig goed doordacht. Het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken. Verder was het zwembad geweldig, de katten en honden waren helemaal gezellig en voelden we ons helemaal veilig, kortom een accommodatie die wij graag aan andere mensen aanbevelen. Wendy en James bedankt voor jullie geweldige gastvrijheid!

This is one of favorite Air BnBs. Communication was smooth from the start. Kelvin is a gracious host - polite, friendly and respectful at all times. The house is equipped for a comfortable stay and even has beach chairs and an umbrella to use during the stay. Thank you for making this a memorable visit. We would’ve loved to stay longer!

Such a beautiful, huge house all to ourselves. The view from the porch is stunning!!! Absolutely everything is supplied and the hosts are so friendly and welcoming.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house has a beautiful garden to relax in. The modern amenities like Alexa automation, and fast WiFi made our stay extra comfortable and enjoyable. The location is perfect— peaceful and close to shops. The host was incredibly responsive and made everything seamless. A perfect spot to unwind and explore George— I highly recommend it!

Gert and Ursula are the perfect hosts. They are most welcoming and a wealth of knowledge about the area and only too keen to assist and give you ideas on the local attractions. To be honest words can’t describe how welcome they made me and my family feel. We are on holidays from Australia and wish we stayed longer at the Half Way House. Not only were they welcoming but the accomodation was amazing. Clean, comfortable and has everything you need. It is a must for anyone travelling the Garden Route to try and stay here. Wir waren zu dritt und alle gleichermaßen begeistert – von der Lage, dem Haus, einfach allem! Sollten wir noch einmal nach Mossel Bay kommen, würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder bei Sarah und Cee buchen!

The home was spotless, clutter free, comfy beds and the garden very well kept and peaceful. Good pizzas in walking distance and beach too.

We have stayed in Groot Bacrivier before but this is the best Airbnb we have been to . We loved the view , security and the internal layout which was spacious and very calming . Probably one of the best Airbnb we have stayed in . Thoroughly recommended !!

We had a lovely stay at Peet’s place! The house is beautiful and really has everything you could need. View of the beach is stunning especially for sunset on the balcony. Couldn’t recommend more!

It’s a really great place to stay, with great view, too. It’s a classic and cozy house, it makes you feel comfortable and it’s like a home for you. The kitchen is amazing, and have all what you need to cook for a big group, the bathrooms are clean and works in perfect condition. Check in is so easy, also check out is easier. The neighbourhood is so quiet and nice and beautiful. What is really amazing though; is Zanelle, she is so nice and responds very quick, we face a little problem and she immediately respond and send some help, thank you Zanelle ❤️ definitely if I came back here I’ll go to the same place

Andries was a very friendly and helpful host. He let us check in earlier as we arrived before check in time. The apartment smelled great, everything was clean. The apartment had a washing machine and tumbledryer which were a bonus. Both rooms had airconditioners so we slept well. The house was situated in a secure complex so we felt safe and secure. I will most surely use his facilities again as I never wanted or needed anything that wasn't available, even cleaning products were available.Thank you for a wonderful home at the sea.

We loved everything about this place. It is the best of both worlds. Beautiful view of the mountain and country side and the ocean. The property exceeded our expectations and is close to beaches and shops. The host was extremely helpful and we received complimentary fresh farm milk and eggs. We were even encouraged to harvest from the herb garden. We couldn't make use of the pizza and braai area due to rainy weather, but the heated swimming pool was amazing. We did however experienced some power issues during the first day, but it was quickly resolved. Our family and dogs had a wonderful time on the farm and we would love to stay there again in future. Elsjés Unit is an awesome unit,lots of beds nice country decor feel,awesome hosts,very safe and quiet, so close to shopping centre pharmacy's, garage,top butcher and Feul station,900m from main beach,whart more can you ask for, prices is affordable but you get more than you pay for,perfect getaway or family holiday,definitely coming back real soon.

Lovely property with everything that you need. I do think that there is some maintenance needed as it was not cheap to stay there.
