This is a great room to stay in with your own toilet, shower, fridge and kettle. As there is no kitchen, there are no cups or mugs or anything, just a fridge and kettle. But there is a lovely view of the river and everything was super comfortable and spacious and it was so close to everything! 6 minute walk from the station and restaurants right out your door. a great place to stay in Hakone! Like everyone else said, it takes a bit to figure out how to open the doors on checkin...my hint is to hold the star button to get the numbers to stop flashing. There was a pileup of guests trying to get in when we arrived but together we figured it out lol.

Superb location and very easy to reach from Itō station. Right next to the beach and fabulous ocean view. Very tasty restaurants within 5-10min walk. Rooms are very clean and cozy.

loved the place, though not having an elevator was a bit of a drag - but getting inside the room certainty made up for it 😊 would happily stay here again

Aya is a great host. She is super helpful and has great recommendations and is always very quick to respond. The apartment is very pretty and the location is very good with awesome views of Fuji. Was a great stay and a great experience.

Thank you Toshi and Reiko! My husband, daughter and I had a fantastic time in your apartment by the sea. We loved the space, we were very comfortable and had everything we needed and more! If you like surfing this is a great spot, right in front of Usami beach, and you can rent surf boards and gear at a nearby shop. We adored Usami, with easy access to Ito and Atami, and all attractions in the area (Jogasaki Coast, Mt Omuro, Mt Fuji and more!). We especially loved the local restaurants and, our favorite was the bento shop by the train station, the best!!! We would love to come back some day :)

This AirBnb was a great place to stay at. Very clean, nice view of the ocean, toilet was nice, and had all the listed amenities. Comfortable bed and the split duct air conditioning/heating worked great. Loved the decorations in the house, game themed and very cute. The AirBnb is certainly right on the busiest road in Atami, so there is always non-stop car traffic — which can be a bit much at times but I am not bothered by noise in order to sleep so it was fine for me. I would also not recommend walking here from the station with suitcases, Atami is very moutainous and the journey was not very fun — just take a taxi it’s quite cheap. Other than that great place!

Great location to visit Hakone, pretty close to Yumoto so you can go anywhere in the region. I recommend

A wonderful place to stay after a long day soaring over Hakone, a short uphill walk from the stations. Lots of amenities, great hospitality, definitely gonna recommend this place to anyone that has a plan to go around the area.

家族で小田原城と箱根観光の為に滞在させて頂きました。宿泊施設は分かりやすい場所にありました。駐車場の場所は隣接していないのですが近くにあり、分かりやすいように写真での説明を頂き大変助かりました。滞在しやすいように布団等の準備もしてくださり、疲れておりましたので、とても暖かく迎え入れてくださっているように感じました。とても過ごしやすく、家族で滞在した良い思い出の一つとなりました。お世話になりありがとうございました。

It has been a great experience visiting yugawara. We had great time staying in this lovely house. It is near to Lawson, taxi stand, bus stop, and sightseeing area, which is very convenient for elderly . Very peaceful town to visit. The house has everything we needed. We definitely would like to come back to stay at this place and enjoy nature in yugawara again.

La maison est de nouvelle construction imitant le style japonais traditionnel. Elle est accueillante, chaleureuse grâce au finition en bois, bien organisée, très propre et bien rangée. Kenjiro et les autres co-hôtes, sont très amicaux et réactifs pour tous ce qui peut vous servir. La maison se trouve effectivement près de l’océan mais une route avec barrière cache la vue directe sur l’océan. Le quartier, un peu excentré par rapport à la ville et donc un vide, est la seule chose qui nous a un peu déçu.

Mayuka’s place stands out as one of the best Airbnbs we’ve experienced. Traveling with our two young children (ages 6 and 4), we found it to be the perfect family-friendly retreat. The home is impeccably clean and well-maintained, equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking, unobstructed view of Mount Fuji visible from both the bedrooms and the balcony—a truly unforgettable sight to wake up to each morning. The location is incredibly convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the train station, local restaurants, and the iconic Lawson store that’s popular among photographers.
