Would highly recommend staying at this gem for your next visit to Daylesford. Beautiful, spacious home, filled with everything u could possibly need. Has a great outdoor area that wraps around the whole house which our dog loved exploring. The location was perfect. Not to mention, it has the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in!

Great location to explore the Grampians National Park. The cabin was very spacious and contains everything you need. The bed was big and comfortable. Very quiet, so perfect for a good night's sleep. The instructions how to get there were very helpful. We especially loved feeding the birds 🥰 Everything was perfect and we enjoyed our stay here very much! Thank you ☺️🥰

We loved our relaxing stay here after a big road trip. Amie was very kind and accommodating for our check in (and out) times. The house was presented beautifully and all the amenities made us feel right at home.

Stay was lovely. House was very nice and cosy. We felt a few things could have been better: The bathroom bin couldn’t be opened without using your hands and toilet brush didn’t look clean. The shaggy rug by the couch didn’t look clean, but maybe it was. Outdoor furniture looked a bit dirty. Sugar sticks were rock hard. Overall, linen was spotless and bed very very comfy. Place was really lovely and homely.

We had a wonderful two nights in the Garden Loft at Poets Lodge. A beautiful and comfortable space that was ideal for a weekend getaway. Angeline and Richard were responsive and gracious hosts.

Beautiful little area, easy to find and clear check-in instructions, the spa was the perfect temperature, very clean and the perfect distance from town to be walkable but also nice and quiet and very private. The only issues we had was a lack of sponge or cloth to wash the dishes with but aside from that it was well worth it, I highly recommend

The House on the Hill was the perfect place to stay in Creswick. Sharon has thought of everything you could possibly need and the house was spotless. Highly recommended.

We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay. The house is just amazing and despite the recent fires we saw plenty of wildlife. We did several hikes in the Grampians and the location of the house was perfect for that.

We found the accomodation was in a great location , clean and spacious for us and the outside deck was spacious with lots of local birds enjoying the sunny day and all the trees The host was easy to communicate with and will definantly be back

A gorgeous cottage with great proximity to regional Victorian towns. Neal and Marie were the most amazing hosts ensuring our stay was seamless. The property was spotless and very comfortable. The lovely touches such as local coffee, biscuits and chocolate were greatly appreciated. We highly this beautiful accommodation.

Piccolo was the perfect spot for our anniversary weekend. Private with just the right amount of luxury thrown in. I loved that the bedroom area was separate from the main living area. It was also nice to have a drink and a meal on the outside table overlooking the Hepburn Hills. Only minor downside was that nothing was in walking distance, but we had our car so that wasn't a problem. I'd highly recommend for a couples' getaway.

Great location in Ballarat central very close to everything. We arrived late so Sue had put the lights and the heater on for us which was greatly appreciated. Very tidy and cosy cottage we enjoyed our long weekend .

We had a family weekend away with our adult kids - perfect place to relax, focus on enjoying the quieter life and reconnect as family. The accom was fabulous with a large open plan living space and a fully equipped kitchen. We spent most of our time on the verandah listening to the birds and watching the roos jump past. The beds were comfy and the bathroom simple, functional and very clean! We will most definitely stay here again any time we come to Ararat/Grampians! Thanks to Duncan & Hannah who were exceptionally accommodating and responsive. It's great when the hosts make you feel like welcomed friends 🧡

We had an amazing stay here! It was a lovely home away from home. The nature at the cottage was beautiful. Elbert was a great host and shared the ins and outs of what to do in the area. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!! 🌿

We had a lovely two-night stay at Apple Cottage. It’s so peaceful and pretty, we felt like we’d had a week-long holiday. The gardens are fantastic — we’d love to return and see them across the seasons. We highly recommend having lunch at The Good Food Providers in Maldon. We absolutely loved our stay at Minna and Peter's 'Le Shack' The location was just perfect, with birdlife and roos viewable from the deck and windows. Everything was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. There was a small air conditioner which we barely used (a couple of the days were quite hot) and leaving the windows open at night was enough. It felt secluded but so close to Daylesford and lots of amazing places to visit. We didn't want to leave. Thank you so much Minna and Peter.

Old Dadswell Town greets you with humour and serenity, with Roo’s at your door, birdlife a plenty and stunning night views of the stars, Jenny, Max and Kelly (the dog) were amazing hosts so welcoming and the accommodation was so lovely, we sat out on the deck watching the world chatting to the other guests and star gazing. A much needed battery reseat.

We attended our daughters Wedding at Mt. William Station on Friday and were lucky enough to stay so close to the venue at this lovely Cottage. Victoria was kind enough to bend the rules so we could stay with our two much loved older small dogs and it was such a relief to be close enough to check on them while the Wedding was on. We stayed with our son and his wife and would all have loved to be able to spend more time enjoying the cottage but were so happy with what time we had there. Thanks again Victoria for letting us stay and hope we left all as we would like people to leave our place.

We have stayed here before in April of 2024. March 2025 proved equally as pleasurable. You cannot beat Kangaroos/wallabies visiting you at the house daily and putting in an appearance in the back garden. It particularly impressed my sister who was visiting Melbourne from UK. There's more! A bottle of wine with lunch or dinner on the back deck, watching all sorts of birds in the trees. Local walks, mountains to climb, restaurants to visit. Art and Craft shops are also in the main street. The old bakery beckoned too, the bread was straight out of the oven. They do a full breakfast as well! Even a drive to Port Fairy is a good trip out for the day. There is so much more but that would be for you to explore and find out. As a thought, you could also do NOTHING and totally enjoy just being in that wonderful peaceful cottage surrounded by the sounds and smells of the countryside.

A wonderful 2 night stay at the cottage. Very clean & tidy with a unique country charm you’d expect in a property like this. A great location to explore local wineries and walking tracks. Barry was great to communicate with too. Thank you

Great host, excellent communication and all the amenities you need! We enjoyed every moment of it from the cute cockies at the window to antique decor around the property. Bedrooms are spacious and can cater to big families. The property is off the main road but still so close to the main attractions and walking distance or a short drive to town

We had the perfect stay at lovely Hepburn Cottage - so beautifully styled yet super-comfy and cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing, peaceful location and all the thoughtful touches, especially the cheeseboard and wine, which were so generous that we felt a bit guilty indulging (but indulge we did!). We loved listening to the vinyls of some of our classic favs while playing chess (haven't done that in ages) two nights in a row. We also enjoyed watching all the cockatoos in the surrounding trees. Just not sure how the hosts will feel about them ravishing their olives. 🤔 It wasn't quite cold enough for a fire, but we can imagine how it would add to the overall cozy ambiance. We'll just have to return in winter, which we hope to do. The 5-Star hosts of Hepburn Cottage, Ari and Chanelle, provided a wonderful 5-Star experience. So, thanks guys. We're looking forward to our next stay!
