We truly couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect place to stay while exploring the magic of Daylesford. The location was ideal—just a short, scenic stroll to incredible coffee and charming restaurants, yet tucked away enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. The house itself was an absolute dream: warm, welcoming, and filled with the kind of thoughtful touches that show just how much care Rodney and Denise put into creating a beautiful experience. Every detail felt curated with love, from the cozy ambience to the impeccable communication. We felt so looked after and at home. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave—and we’ll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay as two families with 5 kids. The house is perfect for a cozy weekend away and the deck is the perfect place to relax and take in the surroundings. Nige is a great host and we will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed staying in Caity’s house. It was very well laid out, the kitchen had everything we needed. It was comfortable and clean and easy to find. Our dogs also felt at home there.

Jasmin’s listing was exactly as pictured, and worked really well for a group of four. There were lots of great touches, such as fresh eggs, as well as heaters in the rooms. This house was really centrally located, an easy walk to the Daylesford Main Street. Overall a great option for a weekend in Daylesford!

Spotlessly clean and beautifully curated, the cottage was everything we could have hoped for and more. Peaceful, comfortable and filled with thoughtful touches, it also felt private which we appreciated. The welcome bottle of fizz was very generous as were all the other amenities designed to create a feeling of home away from home. Only a five minute drive from Daylesford, the location was super convenient and easily accessible. Similarly, Heather was incredibly responsive and quick to help with local tips and suggestions. An all-round lovely stay! We hope to visit again one day soon.

Perrins Place Country Retreat and Picturesque View

The house was as described as the listing. Very homely and considerate decor. Perfect for friends or small families. Beautiful back yard and very decent sized rear balcony/porch with a nice view! Our host Andrew was great with communications and provided very detailed information.

Hazel House Ballarat

We had such a lovely stay at Hazel House. The home is beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming and comfortable from the moment we walked in. The lounge was especially cosy—I spent hours happily reading my book there—and the outdoor BBQ area was a great bonus that we made good use of. Sarah was a fantastic host—super responsive, friendly, and gave us all the detail we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is also spot on, just a short drive to Lake Wendouree. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!

We found this gem on short notice as we wanted to spend New Years at Daylesford with our dog. It was just the perfect place for my husband, me and our fur baby. It’s located right near the shops and you get your own private access to the Lake so I was able to spend each morning going for a run. Such a beautiful place! Just be mindful of the insects but you are staying by the lake, so just bring some repellent and you’ll be fine. Thank you again for hosting us, Sally!

Paradise Valley Cottage and Lake in Spring Hill

We had a fantastic time there as a family with our 2 primary school age kids and our dog. The property was really well looked after and equipped with everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the verandah for breakfast or sunset surrounded by kangaroos and even a couple of deer one morning. It feels really remote but was only ten minutes drive into Trentham or 20 minutes to Daylesford. The kids woke up excited each morning so we appreciated the coffee too!

We had a fantastic experience at Tranquillo. The place was incredibly clean and well maintained, making it easy to settle in. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway, surrounded by many things to do and lovely restaurants. Rebecca and David were very accommodating and made the check in a seamless process. We are so glad we chose this property for our getaway! Kate was an absolutely amazing host — warm, proactive, and super responsive from the very beginning. The property itself is stunning and has so much to offer. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and you can tell how much care has gone into making it feel like a home away from home. We instantly fell in love with the space and surroundings. Everything was just perfect for our two-night stay. We truly didn’t want to leave and cannot wait to come back again!

Our little family had a great time at Eloise’s place. It is very well located near the lake and close to the main strip, but also felt peaceful and secluded. The house was very comfortable and its elevation meant that the windows had wonderful views and light. We found the living area was surprisingly comfortable in the chilly mornings, especially with the space heater on. Finally, Eloise was very responsive and accommodating.

Was such an amazing place to stay from a beautiful home and view to such amazing host. They went beyond expectations, made us fresh bread, giving us a tour of the place. And letting our little ones say hi to their cute doggo!! Definitely a place to stay at again :)

Enjoyed every minute of our stay Beautiful view Peaceful and lots of privacy We were lucky enough to have both warm and cold weather So we got to enjoy the fireplace and pizza oven and fire pit The animals were fun even when the lamas were spitting on us!!! We saw eagles kangaroos and even deer and foxes so was exciting The house was very well equipped and we had everything we needed to use. Even home made treats which was lovely We will definitely stay here again Carolyn

Perfect place for a little weekend family getaway! Tan was very responsive to messages. We loved the facilities, especially the bathtubs on the deck. Added bonus with the abundance of toys provided for our little one! Great location, walking distance to town. Loved our stay!

A must stay here and a must come back. Terrific location and an excellent property. The house and the 2 villas have everything you will need to make a fabulous stay. We , being 4 of us, ate , drank and slept our restful 4 days in the main house. Breakfast in the garden , lunch at the best Restaurants in town and sun downers on the front verandah. Dinner and a movie in the main dining/living room or dinner in the garden are obvious choices. Thank you so much for being excellent super hosts. We loved your property and the cleverness of the interior design and the rebuild of such a lovely old home. Also thank you for getting us into the Lakehouse Restaurent on NYE and the other fabulous restaurant suggestions. Our wives are coming back to go to the Eka Spa.
